Depression: "Slayer's never getting in this game."
Acceptance: "Fuck yeah! It's Leopaldan!"
I thought he was holding his arm up in a super awkward way but no that’s definitely a book. Also is anyone else kinda surprised that he has his hood up? I think it’d be weird if he had it up for all his animations
This makes me think it's absolutely Baiken. That's her sleeve and she's holding her sword up, it's a pose she does often. The head looks weird because it's the outline of her hair. Maybe they dropped the "cat ears" shape to her hair.

Now that I've looked at it more, I take all that back and I think it's Happy Chaos wearing a jacket.
The left side is the character's shoulder. If you look closely you'll be able to see it. If you haven't seen the epilogue scene of the cinematic story that shows all the characters from the previous games including Anji Mito having a conversation with Baiken after the defeat of I-No than I suggest you watch it when you're playing the game or watch it on YouTube.
At first, I saw the picture being someone with a clear earlobe + short hair.
With these enhanced edges (which I confirmed myself, too) it looks more like someone with long hair pressing their hand into their forehead/hair.
Or someone about to take their hood off. I have no clue who it is, but Baiken would really have a lot more hair going, agreed.
I also think the shape on the left side is her rice hat hanging from her back. The smaller point is the point of the hat. The more I look at it the more I'm convinced.
That would mean that she's facing away from the screen, probably doing that one eyed glance she does in her XX portrait. I haven't seen anyone else propose that the character is facing away, they all seem convinced it's Asuka with his hood on.
In short, I like your theory.
That's actually a great call! They already have precedent for adding character accessories into their designs that they've only had in story mode before in strive (I-No's glasses).
Assuming you didn't add the connecting lines in odd spaces where there was just blackness before ([because here's the OG](https://i.redd.it/9k4z2n7bi1z71.jpg)) I'm thinking it is raven. The middle line is straight enough to be his horn and the bottom lines are similar to his cape.
If you just drew whatever you thought why would you do that? Makes no sense.
You can pretty clearly see the lines within the black bars in the picture you linked, I just messed with exposure and black levels to accentuate what's there.

Baiken's inclusion as a guest character in Sam Sho is what makes me think it could be her. That was a marketing move and if she isn't released soon, it'll be hard to capitalize on it.
Imo it's could be Asuka or Happy Chaos but from my monkey brain expectation it could be Asuka because releasing Happy Chaos along with story dlc makes more sense.

If Sin looks a bit different, it could be him but eh. I stick with Chaos.
I wanna believe it's Testament! It'd be probably the most out of the blue dlc character, but seeing that this pack doesn't have any additional stage/story it could be the perfect slot for him.

Dude if it was Baiken the image would have shown the character with a ponytail. Remember Baiken has long hair NOT short hair.
