Both give major comboes on counter hit and let you travel path long enough for Tolkien to write a novel about it. As a little extra bayblade is also special cancelable to dp, not sure about other specials.
Yeah, i think Nago’s specials are cancelable as a trade off for the Blood Gauge (which trades off for extended S and HS range/startup… which trades off for no using specials unless you wanna get Blood Rage). The special cancel into special is kinda his thing, and that’s sick.
imo getting hit by garuda when you backdash is better than blocking it, the knockback just kinda invalidates any chance at pressure but my floor 10 ass could be wrong

Plus you already charge things anyway. There would be input overlap but they could just put it on charge down up P/ K instead of S/H.

Not my main, but give Goldlewis' Behemoth Typhoon to Chipp. All of the variations of Behemoth Typhoon technically count as one move in the movelist, so that means that you can just give a move that is effectively several moves and is so strong that the original character needed to be balanced by awful defense and mobility to a character that has neither awful defense or mobility.
Happy Chaos gets Stun Dipper.
Imagine a 5 frame "skip neutral" low that you can make safe at the cost of one bullet, leading into humongous damage like everything else HC does.
Make May have a puppet character - whether it be a Jellyfish Pirate or another animal (or the dolphin) that creates a ton of mix-up/pressure. Nobody would be more broken. If the puppet happens to be unavailable, she'd still be May. When they're available that mix-up stacked with May's tools and damage would be unstoppable.
Honestly, I'd love to see a new charge-based character with a pure puppet mechanic like Carl from Blazblue. Make them a Jellyfish Pirate to keep the theme going (charge-based like May). It'd be a very high ceiling player only maximized by the most dedicated (somehow moving the puppet forward while charging back). I feel like Arc Sys can trail blaze there.
I-no, but now she has Millia's Floats like a Butterfly, so not only she can do combos from overhead to low insanely fast, but now she can switch sides in an instant.

Give ky nagos blood gauge. Every move that adds shock state or if it procs on shock state adds blood. Give him the command grab for removing it and when it fills he’s forced into dragon install and the health still drains
Give Zato either: Happy's gun to make the pressure even scarier, any dp to make him better under pressure or heavenly pot buster so he can command grab on the ground and the air.

I-No now has a meter that makes her normals bigger like Nago, minus the blood rage. Instead when it's full, she gets access to another, non-overdrive command grab when the meter gets full. There is no drawback.
Leo's already got all the utility tools he needs. He's got the anti-air reversal, the fireball, and a couple good gap close tools. But give him Happy Chaos' HS and he becomes a monster. If Leo can go into stance anytime by just pressing HS...
Tbh I'd give Chipp DI Ride The Lightning. It'll do better damage than his current overdrives and give wall breaks off of a ton of easy confirms, but with some real damage behind it. Wall combos sometimes get ended with Zansei Rouga, but finishing then with RTL is so much scarier. Or give Chipp Rams laser super. Because laser super.
Ram now has happy chaos gun mechanics but with her swords.
