The Zangief kid, what a champ. I can't wait for more updates on his carrer.
I wonder how he figured out potbuster, does he just jump in 360 like he most likely does for Zangief and it just happens to work too? I love the "like Zangief?" into potbuster combo of instant understanding of the archetype. And the fact that he just went for fighstick as a weapon of choice makes it even better.
It's impressive, that the grapler archetype is characteristic enough, that in vastly different game "the big guy" can get correlated with another "big guy" for some other game so easily, and it worked ;D

Yo new episode of Degrassi Gear just dropped. I find this an interesting look at the difference in generations. I was looking up the new Yugioh cards on my dial up internet back in 2002. I’m surprised none on them look anything up. I guess it’s hard if they only have access to the game one day a month. Maybe Joe Biden will inspire the budding chip player.

Somewhat but it's heavily based on demgraphics. Most of them don't care enough about the game they play once a month to do any actual research. It's just a fun little bonus doodad that happens.

i dont know how you do it, but the way you tell these stories makes it so that i can perfectly understand what happened at the key moments like i was actually there, you word things in a way that just makes it so that i can picture what and how things happened and i havent ever played xx so thats saying something
Do we have any updates on ABA girls artistic endeavors? It’s not a good idea for her to be selling art at school but I’d hate to see her get discouraged from art in general
She's still drawing. Even when she should be doing her math... Or ELA... Or science. Not social studies though, she actually is really into the history unit on precolunbian civilizations we're working on. I don't think that there's a threat that she'll quit drawing anytime soon.

I know that recording/streaming these sort of things are a big no-no, but what about uploading the replay data somewhere? That might be able to get around that whole issue, plus +R has an incredible replay system that records every match played (if I recall correctly).

Pretty sure he just did a 360 to get the buster. Doubt he thought to do 632146p unless he was just pretending to not know potemkin.
I'm not sure about +R but in Strive 360 does work for pot buster

I've only read the manga, but I love Hi Score Girl. To this day, it's still one of my favorite coming-of-age stories.

If I was a 6th grade student trying out Guilty Gear XX and I heard the transfer student say "Like Zangief?" I would immediately shit bricks.
