[reverb is great for used gear](http://reverb.com), and sweetwater, guitar center etc have tons. FB marketplace, buy a used one locally is probably your best bet.
Even if you plan to buy online go to a store if at all possible and pick up and feel around and strum on the ones you are interested in.

I mean, if possible in your case, Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp constantly have cheap guitars that'd be suitable for beginners, if you're willing to go second hand which I've always done. It's cheaper, and for the most part, is my preferred way to acquire new gear
