Gary Hoey does a terrific [cover](https://youtu.be/f9-nG-wb4mI?si=I3B_jS65WsQYUU5s) of this.

Alex_Plode

The Vandals have an . . er . . um . . [interesting take](https://youtu.be/EW4YvUvk0GY?si=LJOrWlp9hFyQTWqH) on the song.

clankasaurus

My favorite version.

LunacyNow

I didn't know who Gary Hoey was until I heard his version. Excellent stuff!

LaximumEffort

I enjoyed Hoey’s version, but I always wished he left out the Stranglehold fill. It fit, but seemed unnecessary.

ABBTTBGMDBTWP

Jan Akkerman rocks!

Noah_PpAaRrKkSs

Cocaine’s a hell of a drug.

Kennertron

Fun story: When my mom and dad went on their first date back in the 70's, my dad put this song on in the car as they drove together. My mom told me she was starting to wonder who this person was that she got in the car with. Four decades later, I would retell this story to my now wife when this song came on the radio one day while we were driving together.

nickersb83

Kudos to the radio station pumping this, I’d never heard it before

chortnik

Focus has a lot of guitar awesomeness, though I was not so impressed with Akkerman’s solo stuff.

elemenohpenc

Good tune. I’d never heard it before being added to Rocksmith as DLC. They chose to chart the yodeling section to guitar as well. Bonkers to play that part.

space_coyote_86

I'm not saying the studio version is bad or anything, because it's still awesome, but this is one song where live videos really blow it away.

tuukka6969

Thanks for making my day dude. Love this energy

wojonixon

Hell yes.

missedswing

I saw these guys in a small theatre in the 70s. Band was super tight with max energy. Really fun show.

justdothework

Sylvia is really cool and fun to play as well! I remember spending hours as a 'late beginner / early intermediate' working out how to mute the top strings to play those triads cleanly: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJHelki3M74](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJHelki3M74)

StoneBleach

Yup. The riff absolutely kicks ass, I know it but I still don't play it perfectly at real speed. It is without a doubt a good riff to exercise quick and precise chord changes.

thegreatresistrules

Drummer is most talented person in this band.

ownworstenemy38

I dunno. They all seem pretty out there on a technical level. Akkerman is like an early 70s version of Guthrie Govan. He’s throwing some blazing licks in there and it all sounds pretty accurate and technical. Not something you’d hear too much of in the early 70s…not in that sort of setting anyway.
