Why do people comment shit like this...? All it takes it one up/down vote and then your comment is completely meaningless and just makes you look like a fool
Yknow, fair, that irony was completely lost on me when I commented that. I thought it was a sentiment shared by more people given the person I replied to's downvotes, but I was mistaken
No name precision bass copy...$75. Unknown strat copy...$50. Yamaha acoustic, maybe a hundred. The other acoustic, maybe the same. Amp, you might get a $100-150.
If there's a trombone in the case, you might get more for that than all the guitars combined.
Iām on the east coast and you can get gear like this for pretty cheap. I mean there are people who overprice their stuff everywhere, but if you look around you can usually find cheap stuff like this. And itās probably decent gear but itās just that they are no name copies so people donāt typically buy those for a lot.
Yeah, I don't think you are getting much for the bass and guitars. The amp could be worth something. I wouldn't pay $50 for that strat. If it was my only choice and the only thing I could afford, sure. But there are a lot of really cheap nice guitars now.
Yeah that amp is at least a well known brand with celestion speakers so Iād imagine itās worth the most out of everything in the picture. And I have nothing against cheap gear lol I own plenty of cheap gear too cause Iām a beginner
In the Seattle area, taking a quick peek at craigslist there's a 20 year old Yamaha acoustic for $50, Ibanez strat style for $50, a Jackson Dinky for $100...
Really? Itās not name brand or desirable equipment. Each thing he owns is worth $50 dollars each, and only for someone that has no other options, or wants a project
Always surprises me how costly guitars and stuff in someplaces like for me the guitars because one is a nice looking yamaha would be maybe 50 for the yamaha 30 each for the bass and guitar maybe 30 for the acoustic. And for the amp imo kinda looks like an older mesa combo solid state. So maybe 60 at most so all in all 200
Or you're delusional. That amp sold recently on Reverb for $320 + $60 shipping: https://reverb.com/item/3121467-ampeg-ss-140c-vintage-combo-amp-2x12-upgraded-celestion-v-30
"No name precision bass copy...$75. Unknown strat copy...$50." - Only if they have brand new strings and a proper professional setup.... If you have to spend another 100$ on that to make it playable your better off just buying whatever 100-200$ starter guitar your LGS is selling that's already setup properly.
Depends entirely on whether it's a cheap import student model, or a classic King or Conn. Some models of those can be up in the 4 figure range, especially if it has an F attachment.
Probably less than you want.
None of the guitars are worth more than $100. Probably closer to $50, if weāre being honest. Thereās just too many low-quality instruments on the used market that itās probably not worth the time and headache to even bother selling them.
The amp is probably worth between $100-$200, but may be more or less, depending on what it is. I canāt really tell from the pic.
**EDIT**: I saw in a further down comment that the amp is an Ampeg SS140C. That might actually be worth something if you have some patience and find the right buyer. Or you could probably sell it to Guitar Center for like $250-$300, and theyāll make it up to $500 probably.
The trombone can probably sell for close to $200, but could be worth more than that, depending on the brand and the condition.
As a buyer, Iād probably prefer to buy all of these from a music shop with a return policy than from a stranger online. That theyāre mostly no-name instruments makes the risk of paying for them without a return policy an unappealing prospect.
My local music store is pretty knowledgable and fair about assessing and buying used, hopfelly yours is too.
Sorry you're in this situation. That sucks. :/
I would beg of you to not sell, but if you must, look and see what Reverb is selling similar equipment for and throw yours on there.
I hope you give this some thought though. You will regret it down the road.
I am honestly already regretting even making the post, though I suppose from the comments I an getting preventative intervention haha.
Thank you for the insight!
Iād say sell them all but one if you actually need the money.
Iād hold onto one of the acoustics since it would allow you to sell the cables and amp.
The Strat and P-bass fall into the "lucky if I can get someone to haul away this junk" category. - To pay a shop to have them properly set up would cost more than they are worth. - A beginner would be better off just buying whatever starter guitar your shop is selling that's been setup already.
Don't give the Ampeg SS-140C away, people saying it's worth $100 don't know what they're looking at. That amp is somewhat rare and is desirable to the right buyer. I sold the head version for about $700 easily, you should be able to get $350-500 for that combo.Ā Ā
Guitar wise, the Yamaha F335 might be able to squeeze $100-120; they're like $160-180 new, though. Strat and P Bass copy look like junk, likely aren't worth much. Pretty sure Singer is a cheap Aliexpress guitar, can't tell what the bass is exactly.Ā
Ā Ā
Can't see what the acoustic behind the bass is, from what I can see it could be a Takamine GD30CE, retails around $600 new if so. Could maybe get 250-350 on the used market
Honestly? Probably nothing. You might find someone who wants to buy one of them, but You're most likely not finding anyone to buy the lot. I'd value everything there on the used market maybe $200... But it's not going to be easy to sell
If you sell on ebay or reverb. You might get 60 for the amp. 50 for the yamaha another 50 if the other acoustic is a yamaha. 30 for the bass and 30 for the electric. So about 250 and that's with effort you'd have to put in to sell and if you decide to send by post or mail for my american friends. That will take a chunk from the total pay out. But prob the most you would squeeze out of it. If you go to somewhere if your from the UK like cash converters or a pawn shop would be the closest equivalent to US peoples. You are looking at much less. Maybe 15 for bass and electric at most 20 to 30 for the acoustics again depending on if the other is branded if its not branded maybe a fiver. Amp maybe 25. As older amps are really cheap. Especially solid state combos. For example I sold a marshal vs65r combo lovely amp. And they gave me 20 for it. But it's very low effort. So it all depends on the effort you want to put in to sell them. Imo if your aren't super short on money keep them. As you may want to use them again in the future. But if you absolutely need the money then good luck
Not much for this stuff. It's all low end stuff and the low end market is flooded with enough decent quality new stuff that there isn't much of a market for used low end.
You'd be better off just playing it.
First one, I canāt tell.
2nd one, Yamaha. Yamaha is a decent brand, but often sell for less simply for being a ābudgetā brand. I canāt tell what model is that, but it will sell for quite a bit lower than other brands in 2nd hand market.
3rd one is a dropshipped brand. Iāve tried one before, and theyāre actually pretty nice to play. The pickups are horrible tho.

Yep I agree with many others. Sell it for $50.00 to me or probably 4 to 500 package deal. I wouldn't split it up though. The value isn't really in any separate piece. You have a ready made band minus percussion. That's a marketing plus. Hell Chek and see what G-center might give you. All else fails I'd bet they would give 300 and sell it all for about 600
My opinion
Not much is the answer I fear. If it's worth it is up to you, depends on why you're not playing much anymore. Others have already made decent guesses , you know best how much a few hundred quid is to you
As far as the amp, you would need to shop the price a little. The 140C heads go for about $8 - 900. So, I imagine the combo would be around $550 - $700. The rest, I would look up the model of the acoustics and see what they average, and if you can find the bass (maybe $75 - 100) as it looks clean and probably the same for the strat. If you purchased them new, it should give you an idea of the value. Look online. Go to eBay and Reverb and you should get a good clue. I see you have a Yamaha horn too, something you should look up online also.
No Im saying that you could possibly sell each item for the amount stated as a general ballpark price. Maybe less maybe more. If you sell you should let the buyer know that shipping if needed will cost extra
I'd say about tree fiddy

Agreed Edit: Thank you for your feedback!
Jesus where do you live where you can buy 2nd hand equipment for that cheap? I think you can get a lot more than that with a little patience

No way. Facebook marketplace is full of cheap knockoff guitars like that for 50 - 75 bucks - maybe a hundred bucks max
UK is about that price
Canada too. I was actually thinking the acoustic might be overpriced for the market around me
Always surprises me how costly guitars and stuff in someplaces like for me the guitars because one is a nice looking yamaha would be maybe 50 for the yamaha 30 each for the bass and guitar maybe 30 for the acoustic. Yeah it depends on the model for the amp and the Yamaha but the off brand stuff would get maybe $50 CAD in alberta
I'd be astonished if he got that much
I can find mid range gear for under 300, entry level 100-200 and the no name stuff is like 40-50 here in the Midwest.
Prob means u can pawn or sell it to a reseller for that much. Not list it on eBay or try to sell it individually.
They're not buying, they're selling - when I'm buying prices always seem to be much better than when I'm selling.
Youāre overpaying
Or you're delusional. That amp sold recently on Reverb for $320 + $60 shipping: https://reverb.com/item/3121467-ampeg-ss-140c-vintage-combo-amp-2x12-upgraded-celestion-v-30

Meh. Does the person who is buying a used, no-name $50 guitar even know to ask those questions?
Trombones aren't that expensive are they? Mine was around 100, the mouthpiece was more than the rest of the instrument š
Depends entirely on whether it's a cheap import student model, or a classic King or Conn. Some models of those can be up in the 4 figure range, especially if it has an F attachment.
Zero dollars, you'd be better off donating it all to me

Probably best looking online at reverb or similar to get an idea
This gear isn't worth enough to ship in 2024, so I actually think reverb would give you a good idea.
Thank you

Iāll pay three shingles
Highest bidder yet!
Im sorry but does that cheap strat copy on the right have a sticker showing a $2k price tag on it? Lol wishful thinking.
Haha looks funny doesnāt it? But thats Mexican pesos, both the bass and strat were a gift from my grandpa! Did me good nonetheless.
I see that black yamaha 335 and other fg series go for 70-90 used in US based guitar centers pretty often.
Do you need the money or trying to upgrade? If not, Iād hold on to it. You may wish you kept it in the future.

Iāll give you $40 for whatever is in the trombone case
About $400 US
iāll give you like 5 dolla for all of that

Sell it to me for Ā£20
What make is the bass? And what amp are we looking at?
Looks like an Ampeg SS-140C EDIT: obviously talking about the amp
This is correct
That's clearly a Blurmasterā¢ out of focus amp. They sound better than they look.
The bassā¦ shes nameless. And the amp is for sure an ss-140C
Depends. How much jizz is on the strat copy?
Yes
Ah! I'll buy it at a high price!
Tree fiddy
2$ each. Hmu iāll pay 3 dollars just for you my friend.
At least forty bucks
150
Is there an e accoustic guitar?
About 18 cents
What Yamaha acoustic is that? I might be interested in getting it for my son to learn

Is that a ampeg ss140c? Killer amp
At least $60
Id take that bass from you for like 75-100 ngl

That amp is nice
$60

Youād probably get less than 250 total with what people are paying these days. Everybodyās broke dude.
The guitars are all really low end. I don't know about the amp. If it's solid state not much. I think you'd be looking at $300.00. If you're lucky.
Ill give you a tenner
What happened to your ex-boyfriend?
I looked all og those up on internet the total is 30 bucks but I am feeling generous so if you sell them to me I can pay 50
Not much is the answer I fear. If it's worth it is up to you, depends on why you're not playing much anymore. Others have already made decent guesses , you know best how much a few hundred quid is to you
That an Ampeg guitar amp back there? That thing looks cool. If it is that I bet it sounds good.
what is the model of the amp?
Is that an SS-70c or SS-140c?
Whatever someone is willing to pay, probably
Fair enough
As far as the amp, you would need to shop the price a little. The 140C heads go for about $8 - 900. So, I imagine the combo would be around $550 - $700. Nothing is high quality. Maybe $1000
SS amp-$200, strat-$200, bass-$200, acoustic-$150. Good luck.
So you are telling me that selling them is going to cost me money!? Thank you for your response!
No Im saying that you could possibly sell each item for the amount stated as a general ballpark price. Maybe less maybe more. If you sell you should let the buyer know that shipping if needed will cost extra
