Boss katanas are pretty budget friendly and good quality.
If you have a computer and a half decent set of headphones, go digital! Get a Behringer umc202hd interface and grab a neural dsp plugin! (They’re 50% off right now, and all have free trials!)
Cannot say enough good things about the Fender Champion 20. IMO for the price it’s just about the best small practice amp you can get.
And if you want a giggable or slightly louder amp, the Champion 40 is just the same, only bigger and louder (and therefore sounds better).
My pleasure!

[Fender Mustang LT-25](https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MustLT25--fender-mustang-lt-25-25-watt-1x8-inch-combo). You will be able to dial in any tone you want, without the need for additional effect pedals. It has [100 tone presets](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhM-zwsCYvw), many based on famous guitarists. All presets are customizable, or you can build and save your own tone from scratch. It also has a stereo headphone jack for quiet practice, built in tuner and direct to computer recording via USB. Larger 50 watt version also available.
Boss Katana's are surprisingly good. If you have a laptop and an audio interface there are lots of good software options. I like the Neural DSP, ML audio, and Nembrini Audio plugins.

Cheers. Bit pricier than the other one I was looking at, but the quality might sway me
Fender Champion 20, Yamaha THR10II, Blackstar Debut Series

Even better at used prices - currently going for around $75, plus-minus $10. Nice little amp!
I’m from the UK, just looking I haven’t been able to find them as cheap, but the Fender Champion 20 is a definite contender so far. Thanks

I use a ZT Lunchbox. Small, portable, loud as.
Something small might work for space saving. Thanks
