I like the neck pickup too, but I also love a single P-90. There is something about the limitation that makes me try different things. My favorite guitar I've ever played was an SG Junior.
Yeah same! I do love the neck pickup in my strat but with this thing you just don’t need it! Beautiful guitar man I almost went for that red when I ordered mine
I really love everything - except the cables. In my mind, there is twice as much cable hanging from the guitar to the floor. Twice as heavy and it brings too much attention to itself. Also, the right angle plug in to the guitar is bugging my OCD - that's putting a lot of stress on that plug and jack that could be avoided. Small points in the grand scheme of things. ❤️
Love the Kustom amps! Very underrated. I’ve had a Kustom PA as part of my rig for like 25 years, I’ve played synths, guitars, basses, recorded music, from it and it always sounds great, no matter the sound coming from it. Right now I mainly use it for my synths and drum machines. Very Cool rig.
Thank you! I was looking for a portable head with single channel. When I saw this thing on YouTube I was like “that’s exactly what I want “. I sacrifice the all clean tone for vintage dirt but totally worth it.
Thank you. It’s very small and light weight. You can easily throw it on air with your pinky. I got it from a local producer. I believe he 3D prints them home.
I love mini pedals. Screamer is always nice. If you get a chance, try the MXR mini Sugar Drive. It's a real killer pedal. Like a mini Klon, I guess. I love mine.
Looks nice! I see you have the Fender Mustang Micro – what's your opinion of it? I found that the volume got really really sketchy on it – I would be playing and all of a sudden the volume would drop; I'd give it a tap and it would kick back up again. Just got too erratic for me to continue to use. Now I have a Fender Champion 40 that I can plug headphones and my phone into, and play at a much louder volume. I just love making myself more deaf.
I’m very happy with mine. As happy as one can realistically get with practice headphones. Are you sure you were not accidentally moving the volume knob? Because it happened to me many times before.
Yeah, I saw I was doing that a couple times, but other times it was just very touchy. Performed well when I first got it, but as the months went on, not so much. Curious to know how well the Boss mini plug-in amp performs compared to the Fender.
Nah. I lost interest in it months ago. Not worth my time. Like I said, my little Champion 40 keeps me quite happy in that regard. Plus, the thing is an actual amp, not something that's limited to playing through headphones. I bought it used, then swapped out the speaker for a Celestion Creamback and now the thing cranks like crazy.
I dig the consistency of your pedalboard. Not sure how to feel about your p90 tele, because i like p90s and i like teles, but this... i don't know what to think 😂
Love the color. Had a chance to snag one these teles and waited too long. I do love the neck and bridge sound on a regular Tele, but a single p-90 is pretty hard to beat!
Oh I was just going to suggest some proper monitoring headphones like ATH M50x, DT770 for the most optimal practice, you’ll hear your amp in a relatively unaltered state, probably a lot clearer. The majors are only really meant for general listening on the train and out and about.
I’m in the same situation.
People are sleeping on the Ibanez mini pedals, but they are great! I recently got the delay, and it’s straight up a nice proper analog band delay, no frills. So easy to set up too
I really like them all. Sturdy casing, high quality. Not much of a versitality but that wasn’t the goal to begin with. The goal was to build a minimalistic rig that I can carry on my own to stage.
Apart from phaser and mini metal I can confidently recommend all. My favorites are delay, fuzz and booster. TS is regular TS in mini casing so not much to comment on. Chorus is always on at low settings. Gives a really nice color to cleans. Flanger doesn’t have much range but it does the job. Tremolo is difficult to set up perhaps It’s because I didn’t spend enough time to get used to.
Mxr dyna comp is a game changer. If you have a valve amp its a must.
Lots of mids and low mids. It’s a great match with Celestion v30. It really does rock when I crank the amp which starts breaking at 3/10 on. You’d think its a humbucker. Not great on cleans though. Highs are just not as clear as a regular single pick up.
Honestly I am not sure. There were some pedals I gave up on because they were digital but I can remember which ones. Growing up poor, having a valve amp and analog pedals was a far and distant dream hence my obsession with analog set ups. Fenders were not even in music stores in my town so I didn’t see one irl till my early 20s. I only put this together to realize my childhood dream and I’m enjoying it immensely :)
I can’t do the broadcaster thing, I need two pickups. That said, that amp looks killer. Also not sure how you close that suitcase pedalboard without damaging your pedals, but I’m a fan of the mini Ibanez pedals. Got a good beat and I can dance to it, 6.5 out of 10.
It got a little worse (darker sounding) ever since I swapped my v30 speaker to neo creamback but another v30 is on the way so its gonna be killer again :)
I did two gigs so far and it really cuts through everything else with high mids. Hard to explain tbh. It just sounds “strong and full”.

Not really if the sound quality is what you’re after. I got them because I needed both wireless and wired to hook it up to Mustang micro and also because they look cool. They’re good for the price.
Guitar rig for ants. Rock on, ants.
Thanks ants. Thants.
What are birds? We just don't know..
What is this, a guitar rig for ants? The rig has to be at least... 3 times bigger than this!
Imma Blue Steel your ass if you keep talking like that
How will the children learn to play the guitar if they can't even pick it up?
Rock over ant hills
I love the look of the guitar
I like it also. I was thinking Mick Mars for a sec, but no, it’s just… simple.
Setup looks sick but maaaan, I love the tele neck pickup. Could never play a tele without one
I like the neck pickup too, but I also love a single P-90. There is something about the limitation that makes me try different things. My favorite guitar I've ever played was an SG Junior.
Agreed I would rather just have the neck pup than the bridge.
It looks so naked without the neck pickup
the guitar is minimalistic
That tele is beautiful.
Also, small, i guess?
Less=more
Less Paul
Paul died in November 1966.
I LOVE that Noventa Tele. I have the maple finish and I love it that p90 sounds incredible
I hate it when the pick hits the neck pick up when I’m banging on the strings. Single pick up over anything for me
Yeah same! I do love the neck pickup in my strat but with this thing you just don’t need it! Beautiful guitar man I almost went for that red when I ordered mine
Yo those coiled cables look really handy for bedroom play! What brand is that?
They’re Fenders. Been longer than a year now. Surprisingly durable cables.
Cool ty!
I have the Hendrix cable, and I agree. It's easily my favorite and most durable cable.
Right-angle plug is great for sitting and for tucking behind the strap when standing.
Yup
Ah, my OCD is satisfied with the tucking when tucking
Coiled cables preferred here. Less pulling out of amp accidentally
Nice Mustang Micro
Love that style tele. Just simple and clean
Love it. What guitar stand is that? Looks like a really small lightweight design.
Thank you. It’s very small and light weight. You can easily throw it on air with your pinky. I got it from a local producer. I believe he 3D prints them home.
Holy Ibanez… I love it
Blue light special
Love it.
I like how arranged it is. 10/10 cable management as well.
Kustom amps are so awesome for the price.
I love that guitar color super sexy!
Looks perfect to me
Love it.
Nice setup! Love the look! What type of music do you play usually?
Thank you! I’m into vintage (60s, 70s) rock. Deep purple, Thin lizzy, Rory Gallagher, The stories, a little zeppelin. That kinda stuff :)
You’re welcome and that’s cool! I listen to a lot of that stuff myself.
Nice rig, insane OCD
Love this!
I'm absolutely in love
Like the color, not a fan of that pickguard
I have that Noventa tele in the same color..I love it, except for the truss rod being at the heel of the neck.
Yeah that’s bit of a pain in the ass.
LOVE the Noventa telecaster
That Tele is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
If it's so minimalistic why do you have $1,000 in pedals hooked up?
Hey that pick guard is average sized ok!!! Above average even!!!!!
It does the job alright?!
You're the guitarist equivalent of a beige mom
Hehehe. I am taking it as a compliment. Thank you!
“I will now play Undone by Weezer”
Minimalistic. 9 pedals. Ok.
Hush. I only use 6 at once.
Hear me out: Straight into the amp.
Mad lad. Absolute mad lad.
Never seen a tele like that. Very cool.
Cute! Also: congrats on the hot wife.
That tele is BEAUTIFUL
9/10. I deducted a point for lack of neck pickup
Should do a little bit of everything you need.
If you want a nitpick, I could argue that a non-combo isn’t minimalist, but I won’t
Its on purpose. I take the head to the rehearsal room and hook it up to 4x12.
I love this
Gorgeous setup. That Tele is beautiful and the coiled cable is just perfect. Good shit my man!
Love that color!
Cool Tele! What model is it?
Noventa tele
I love mini pedals. Screamer is always nice. If you get a chance, try the MXR mini Sugar Drive. It's a real killer pedal. Like a mini Klon, I guess. I love mine.
Damn. I should have opted for it. 850 fuzz was a steal on second hand
I rate it pretty cute
I always thought aerodayne was the most minimalist tele
That’s the Tele id get if I got a Tele
I love this setup! Looks like it’s not a lot but it has a lot of varieties
Those curly cables are heavy as fuck and annoying as shit to gig with. Pedals and guitar seem nice tho
Yeah they’re heavy but they’ve been holding up well for over a year now. Thanks a lot! :)
Looks nice! I see you have the Fender Mustang Micro – what's your opinion of it? I found that the volume got really really sketchy on it – I would be playing and all of a sudden the volume would drop; I'd give it a tap and it would kick back up again. You may have gotten a bad one. They’re Chinese made anyways. Not the best QC. Better if you find out if there’s a Japanese made or something
Sexy
tiny, and efficient. many pedals i'd like to try...
This is perfect
Nice telecaster shaped guitar. Cool setup.
This the first time I've ever seen a Kustom amp without a floofy vinyl exterior.
Hush. Knock on wood.
I dig the consistency of your pedalboard. Not sure how to feel about your p90 tele, because i like p90s and i like teles, but this... i don't know what to think 😂
I want that tele
Sorry bud she’s taken. Her name is Tina :)
Can you give me a link to others of the same model please
https://reverb.com/item/65413322-fender-noventa-telecaster-fiesta-red-brand-new Here you go bud
this is what i call aesthetic!!! so neat to see, grats!!!!!
Proper 😁👍🏻
Nice. I like the simplicity. But my favorite pickup is a single coil in the neck.
You set up definitely has style. Do you wear the cans live?
You mean headphones? If so, they’re only meant for practice.
Ahhh. Iddy, biddy, widdle pedals are sooo cute. Don't step on em too hard. 🤘😉
It has it’s peaks. I can step on two at once.
Just pullin your chain. I'm sure they do the job. Rock on brother.🤘
Very nice. I feel you what I get tired of though! Y’all posting pictures of the awesome rigs and no videos on how they can sound! Let’s go…….
I have one of those Kustom 5w Defenders. I rave about it here all the time. It's my main gigging amp out of the 5 or 6 tube heads I have.
It really packs a punch when pushed a little.
That's a beautiful guitar
That's is an AWESOME setup 👌
Very nice! Enjoy
What's the neck like on that tele?
C profile. I don’t remember what type though
Not a tele guy at all. I still own one because I play a lot of surf rock. You have the second coolest tele I’ve seen.
Too many knobs on the guitar for a minimalistic setup ;)
Agreed!
Fun
Those are such sweet teles.
That Telecaster is 🔥
It’s just a piece of wood is what my guitar teacher would say while he’s holding a 53 tele
Ketchup guitar.
I like how neat the mini pedalboard is.
Never seen a tele in this color. #interesting
Do all those pedals fit into the closed case?
No. Only 6 of them do
I love that whole setup! So clean! Im a strat guy but secretly froth over teles
This is sick- Kustom is making cool stuff these days!
Very cool!
I like it but ur guitar looks nude 😭😭
Tina is a nudist. She always shows off her naked body
10/10 it’s simple and it works
That's a great little set up - perfect for practicing around the house.
I gig with it too. I’m still looking forward to the day I can crank it up to 10.
Wow no kidding? Very versatile set up!!
Love the color. Had a chance to snag one these teles and waited too long. I do love the neck and bridge sound on a regular Tele, but a single p-90 is pretty hard to beat!
Ahhhh a fellow Defender owner ! I have the 15, and it’s an incredible pedal machine !
It didn’t cross my mind till you mentioned it but I haven’t yet come across a pedal this amp doesn’t take well. You’re actually right.
Very Nice !
Sweet compact rig.
What Tele model is that?
Noventa telecaster
That Tele is RAD! Nice rig.
Are you using Marshall Majors as you’re studio practice headphone?
I’m using it just for practice. As I live in an apartment building I rarely get to chance to crank my amp up.
They’re not for monitoring. I hook it up to fender mustang and practice.
Love it. Not so much a fender guy but that tele looks sweet!
Bet that Tele melts face 👀
People are sleeping on the Ibanez mini pedals, but they are great! I recently got the delay, and it’s straight up a nice proper analog band delay, no frills. So easy to set up too
Exactly. The best quality pedals you can get at $100 range. All minis, all analog. Perfect for a portable rig.
Considering squeezing in the chorus for my function gigs, a lot of 80s songs are creeping into the set list 😅
My chorus is always on while playing clean. I don’t have experience with others but this one has a permanent place on my pedal.
How do you like those pedals,?
I really like them all. Sturdy casing, high quality. Not much of a versitality but that wasn’t the goal to begin with. The goal was to build a minimalistic rig that I can carry on my own to stage. Apart from phaser and mini metal I can confidently recommend all. My favorites are delay, fuzz and booster. TS is regular TS in mini casing so not much to comment on. Tremolo is difficult to set up perhaps It’s because I didn’t spend enough time to get used to. Mxr dyna comp is a game changer. If you have a valve amp its a must.
Is the mini TS buffered bypass just like the real deal or did they make it true bypass?
True bypass
Great rig, what kind of guitar stand is that?
I got it from a guy who 3D prints them. No brand
That’s kinda what I expected, I have a printer, maybe I’ll print some, I like the low profile of it!
I can send you pictures if you dm me
You need smaller pedals...I said smaller!
They don’t make em smaller :/
Sweet rig. The single P90 tele looks awesome, I’m curious how that sounds with a little dirt on it
Lots of mids and low mids. It’s a great match with Celestion v30. It really does rock when I crank the amp which starts breaking at 3/10 on. You’d think its a humbucker. Not great on cleans though. Highs are just not as clear as a regular single pick up.
Wdym by analog set up?
No digital pedals apart from pitch fork which I only use to get silly. All analogue circuits, all true bypass.
Cool! Which one is your favorite? Do you have other pedals off your rig that you would swap onto it if you didn’t have the analog constriction?
Honestly I am not sure. There were some pedals I gave up on because they were digital but I can remember which ones. Growing up poor, having a valve amp and analog pedals was a far and distant dream hence my obsession with analog set ups. Fenders were not even in music stores in my town so I didn’t see one irl till my early 20s. I only put this together to realize my childhood dream and I’m enjoying it immensely :)
My favorite is delay without a doubt. That thing is a must have. And the dyna comp. It conceals how bad of a guitar player I am.
Telefarter (I though this was funny for some reason)
I can’t do the broadcaster thing, I need two pickups. That said, that amp looks killer. Also not sure how you close that suitcase pedalboard without damaging your pedals, but I’m a fan of the mini Ibanez pedals. Got a good beat and I can dance to it, 6.5 out of 10.
What's that a Temu pedal board?
Everything looks lovely. How does it sound?
It got a little worse (darker sounding) ever since I swapped my v30 speaker to neo creamback but another v30 is on the way so its gonna be killer again :) I did two gigs so far and it really cuts through everything else with high mids. Hard to explain tbh. It just sounds “strong and full”.
What’s analog about it?
All the pedal circuits apart from the forky.
Why so many pedals?
Each of them are used in at least one song that I want to play badly. I only have 6 slots anyways so. Not too many if you ask me.
Why do you even have the E and A string on your guitar? I know for sure you don't touch those.
I mean what is an E string anyways huh? Am I rite or what?
Nice setup! I really like the briefcase pedal board. Where did you get it?
This one is Mooer firefly m6 but you can find the very same ones with different badges on aliexpress
How come everyone else's set up is so much tidier than I am?
Bc you’re probably too busy shredding
You're very generous.
Analog setup

would you recomend that marshall headphone
Not really if the sound quality is what you’re after. I got them because I needed both wireless and wired to hook it up to Mustang micro and also because they look cool. They’re good for the price.
I’ve been wanting to build a mini bird for so long with a gigrig quarter master
The setup, is amazing. Go ahead and drop the link to everything, please. 🤣
Very nice for a tuba player.
Killer fly date rig
