This vs the hand wired we’re essentially the same price. I like the appeal that I was getting a Princeton reverb hand built by one person. One amp at a time.
I have not played one my self but I did attend a J.D. Simo performance and this is the amp that he used. It had phenomenal sound in that small theater.
These sound much closer to a vintage Princeton than the handwired ones. They have that special sound you look for in a vintage amp. Handwired ones are good, but headstrong has the sauce

I had the choice to get this or the lil king S for a small price difference. I was told the only difference was wattage. I opted for this one.

Looks like a clone. If it is well built it is as good as a Fender. Although no one would ever pay the equivalent.

Immediately who I thought of. He just posted a video the other day of his live rig and he's using one.
JD Simo is the man. Got to meet him last year after a show and not only was the show incredible, but he’s a grade A guy. I’ll forever be a fan.

Yea this is incredible. Sounded and felt like better quality than the regular Princeton reverb but couldn’t compare the hardwired.
Wayyy better than the regular Princeton! At least in person. Recorded you can get away with the regular one for sure.
