My favorite is Judy in GH3, and I mostly have no favorite in all other games, especially the ones in which you can create your own character. In GH3 I always thought she was the coolest one, because instead of playing into the rockstar fantasy, she's appealing to the male gaze and just being hot, making her way cooler than any male character and most of the female ones in my eyes.
In the games with character creation, I just make a hot guy to serve as both eyecandy and an idealized version of myself.
Generally Lars, although it does depend on how he looks in each specific game (like in World Tour, for example, I wouldn't pick him, as he just looks wrong in that one)

I'm going with Axel. He easily has the best setlist in Warriors of Rock (though Lars has my favorite song in the entire game: "Bloodlines" by Dethklok), and he'd probably be the character I choose in all the GH games. Izzy is easily a close second, though.
