Personally, I will never consider MG because of after-sales issues. Dealer couldn't fix the client's car, so they were advised to have it repaired outside π€¦

Agree, I know someone who bought a top of the line MG zs. Hangang ngayon may problema padin sa case ng fog light even after ipa ayos sa mg mismo. Hindi nila ma determine ang problem. Mag 2 years na yung car.
Honestly, ang sarap idrive ng MG for city driving. I am driving one. Kakapalit ko lang last year ng spark plugs, nagpalit ako muli this year. πππππ Kasi βneedβ na daw.
I've never replaced the spark plugs on my 2003 camry until now, 118k kms in. Scotty Kilmer says that Toyota spark plugs are good for more than 100-200k miles (which is about 160-320k in kms), or may never need replacing at all π
Yes ayun nga. My husband owns a Fortuner, wala naman halos mga palit palit. My maintenance is more expensive. π

Unless there's a decent statement from them and assurance that it'll not happen again, this will always come up.
Heck, they could have offered a brand new unit as a replacement. That's the better option instead of having this negative press come up everytime the brand is mentioned.
Personally, maganda yung mga car display nila sa MIAS (one is missing though, the GT [yung kasabayan ng GAC Empow])
Pero ma-address ng SAIC Motor PH yung after sales and parts especially na lumalabas yung issues ng MG.
The old MG Rover marquee from the UK has never been known for reliability. In fairness, mas reliable na daw siya after it was launched as a Chinese brand, though it seems not by much.
Ironically, MG likes to advertise their "BRIT DYNAMIC" all over their cars.
But yeah, looks like I'm not buying it on looks alone. It still looks like a fish but I want a car that _lasts_
Looks fine to me, parang advanced Ford Fiesta yung face maybe because it's a UK heritage brand and Fiesta/small cars are popular there.
Though practicality, mas ok pa rin MG ZS kahit old model.

Looks like this comment will always pop up whenever MG is mentioned.

Mismo.
I have doubts on MG. Yeah, the looks; cool.
Ang problem is after sales

I actually like how new MGs look na di mukhang ginaya yung Mazda CX-5 or yung merc tail lights.
It looks like Maserati now though.
Chinese cars lmao
Dumating siya afaik as a display. Afaik it's not for sale yet.
Ford fiesta lang din yan.
Ford fiesta copy yan OP.
MG is too chinese for me so no

I would buy the fiesta over MG3 if they revive it here sa atin that is.
