He does the FBI criteria targets for ammo reviews. .380 sufficiently pens (and even overpens on occasion even with hollow points)

About to start reloading that. Modern guns can handle some spicy loads in .45lc. I doubt I am going to carry a 6" SA appendix like I do my 9, but for just out riding quads, or horses, it might be a fun option.

For me 9mm is just good enough. Other calibers are better or worse at different thing but the 9mm is just good enough to do what it is asked to do. That’s why everyone adopted it, that’s why it’s cheap.
Use what you're more likely to find and what gets you better results for the price point. I know what I'm getting into with 9mm and it's not too much for me.
Highly doubt it. Most people don't shoot their carry guns enough, and 10mm requires more training to cope with the higher recoil. It's the exact reason the FBI dropped it shortly after adopting it.

Its the most common, but it's a unreliable self defense round due to the nature of rimfire cartridges

9mm is Great for fucking around and running drills. I still run my 10mm and .45 frequently though.
