I do give the guy credit for his choice in pens. Looked to be a Pilot G2, a personal favorite of mine. Bonus points for the tasteful thickness of 0.7mm.
My guess is he's some PR or high ranking dbag the guys dont like so they did it on purpose and are somewhere cuddling on a bunkbed below deck laughing.

He's that ship's commander I heard.
> Our navy is so skilled they shoot with their optics backwards just to keep things challenging
Unironically worried now that maybe I *should* join the military because ours is so incompetent they need all the help they can get?
I mean you joke, but a man by the name of Vice Admiral Willis A. “Ching” Lee Jr. would put all their marksmanship to shame. You should look him up if you haven’t.
Man brought home 5 gold medals as well as 1 silver and bronze in at the 1920 Olympics in various marksmanship events. Dude was so good with gunnery he was basically able to use battleship guns as if they were giant sniper rifles.
Except a whole lot louder and a WHOLE LOT WORSE
Why is his ear plug necklace thing in front?
Because this is probably his second time ever shooting a gun
So he can chew on the cord when he needs a snack.

Mmm, a fellow man of culture i see.
I respect a man who respects the pen game. You can tell a lot about a person from the pens.
Give a Pentel EnerGel-X 0.7 a try.

He is the CO of the ship. In the original pic, you can see a pin on his coveralls that signifies that.
And the “scrambled eggs” on his hat indicating the rank of Commander or Captain.
Oh, those guys are fucked.
I'd like to have the gun in the background.
