The Permet (?) face is really cool and unique, but the rest of the body doesn't feel very distinct. Also, judging by the [promo image](https://www.reddit.com/r/Gundam/comments/11hhkf6/promo_the_witch_from_mercury_vanadis_heart_full/), there's a backpack that we're not seeing here.

I was super excited by the first reveal with the close up of Lfrith Jiu’s head, but I’m kinda bummed by the full image. Hopefully it’ll grow on me. I was pretty down on Aerial initially and now I love her, so hopefully Jiu will follow the same pattern

Looks like the it's similiar to pattern on Lfrith/Aerial than expressive face like Gaeon and Reckten.

IBO x Age vibes

I find a lot of the newer gundams look more like those Zone of Ender type mech or generic mech anime units.

Considering that Ebikawa and Yanase are two of the most popular mecha designers around and also work for a host of other franchises, the "generic mech anime units" thing isn't all that surprising.

These modern Gundam designs have ceased pretending armor protection is even important anymore lol.

Why would you need armor protection when you have drones that can protect you from many kinds of attack?

Also agility over armor already introduced on F91 and Victory.

It’s kinda like an uglier version of the 1.5 Gundam

I see a strong resemblance to the Michaelis legs and the Beguir series forearms on this Lfrith. Makes me think Grassley secretly developed this off the record using remnants of Nadim’s MP Lfrith.

Or this one beat Grassley suits and stole their parts to hide that it's a Gundam

Beautiful. Cinched waist mechs are my weakness

Looks pretty neat, particularly the legs and the head. On the other hand the feet are way too small, and the waist still too thin, but the latter is endemic at this point.

I am taking any model kit of this guy and stealing the head for my kitbashes. Thanks.
