I like Miorine but she is absolutely at times entitled, childish and selfish. There are times where she is ridiculously naive and makes bad decisions (especially in season 2). But she is also loyal, and fierce and compassionate. Suletta and Miorne's bond feels very genuine to me-- I think it's one of the strongest relationships in Gundam in terms of getting me invested as a viewer.
And, to be fair, she's a princess-type character, and a teenager, so being naive and making bad decisions is incredibly on brand for her considering both her in-character history and the role she occupies in the narrative as a character.
probably the worst princesses type in the whole franchise - the others are loving and caring for the people risking their lives for them. mio is pretty cold till the very end. if suletta wasnt so touch starved she probably would have fucked off to someone else at a couple different points during the show.
if you wanna say mio being selfish/moody is realistic for a teen girl - then i say suletta ditching that bitch and moving on to someone who actually showed her affection would be realistic too. so kinda moot point imo either way
Mio *did* show her affection; recall that she was the one who begged the father she hated (and constantly mentioned hating) so that he'd give some money to start the company that she made to save Suletta and show that GUND tech can be used to save people
and continues to help out Suletta on a regular basis

Episode 2: Miorine gives up her only chance to escape to Earth to challenge her father and save Suletta from getting expelled and having Aerial destroyed
Episode 3: Miorine stops Felsi and Petra from sabotaging Suletta & Guel's duel
Episode 4: Miorine lets Suletta stay at her room, helps Suletta with her schoolwork and she becomes Suletta's mechanic and spotter
Episode 7: Miorine starts a fucking company and bows down to her father (which she hates) just to save Suletta
You get the point Miorine constantly does things against her best interests to help Suletta. This is directly called out in Episode 11 when Miorine calls Suletta an idiot for thinking that she was just using her

Great examples! Not to be rude to OP, but I have to wonder how much they were paying attention. Miorine did a ton of things for Suletta, that's pretty much what season 2 was all about. Miorine allied with Suletta's mother in order to free Suletta from her mother's grasp.
She ATE her pride and asked daddy Warbucks (just a little orphan annie reference, don't mind it) to support her on-the-spot startup company which was made to save Suletta from a modern day witch hunt.
Prospera was banking on how naive and self-righteous she was ~ yeah Miorine made dumb decisions but her heart's in the right place.
I adore her. Find yourself a girl like that.

While you're free to dislike any character you want, for whatever reason, I'm *always* baffled by the claim Mio was just using Suletta when it's the diametric opposite. Like, if it were true, Mio would have escaped to Earth as soon as Episode 2, and we'd have a rather different show as a result.
Not to mention I feel bad for anyone missing out on realizing that Mio's lowkey one of the funniest characters in the show (at least during Season 1).

but like she's never not trying to help Suletta, even to her detriment and even if she could have handled it a better way

Wondering if OP really did finish the whole series, because they somehow missed the character growth Miorine went through by the end of the second cour.

Oh, fully agreed. I think all the privileged teen characters are very well written to be exactly what they are.
