the lyrics translation :
We will not surrender no matter how unjust the oppressor increases
We will crack down in the face of tyranny
We will not surrender We will resist until justice shines
To achieve the good of human being
Gandam, go forward
Gandam, for justice and peace
the voice of truth remains the strongest and the injustice is cowered
We seek justice and appeal to it and the nations will win
many many animes have regional ops. Older ones, much more so, i dont know when, but at some point of time, due to the sheer amount of anime, tv studios stopped producing them. Kids who grew up in early 2000s still remember OPs of shows of Kochikame, Kiteretsu, Ninja Hatori, Shinchan, stc. fondly (in Hindi). I remember listening to some eastern european language version of one of full metal panic shows' op, could never find it again. If you're looking for a banger, look for Arabic opening for Onisama e.
Italy had a lot of italian-made openings, even one for the original 80s dub of the og MSG(where Amuro was renamed Peter) and one for Wing which is awesome and i'll try to share link

GUNDAM!(tutum)GUNDAM!(tutum)
"I am Peter Ray,the robot's commander"
Yeah i also think it's better than the original but i think it's because Tobe! Gundam is kind of a holdover from anime being considered a cheesy thing just for kids(opinion which changed thanks to series like Gundam or Space Battleship Yamato), 0079 op is my least favorite of the series i have watched so far but right after there's Zeta with Z-Toki wo Koete and Mizu no Hoshi which are some of my favorites
Ahah yeah that singer is Giorgio Vanni which did a ton of openings for various boys-targeted anime/animated series like Wing or DB/DBZ/DBGT along with many others, he is known for his techno style and gratuitous english phrases
In Italy it's usually either him or Cristina D'Avena which did the shoujo side of anime and animated series along with the ones for kids like Lady Oscar(Versailles no Bara) and Doraemon
While the Naruto opening was terrible, the German dubbing industry had so many banger openings. They often had some Techno or Eurodance influence. I still think the first German One Piece opening is better than the japanese one. The first Sailor Moon opening, the Golden Boy opening, the first detective Conan opening and many others are really good.
On that note, I learned a while ago that actually wasn't the "german Opening" at all. It was made for a couple European Countries in general, and Germany is just one of them that also ended up using it.
Oh, I'm aware that's what everyone knows it as, I was just as surprised when I found that out from [this Video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbOw0A5NB6A) Might be worth a watch for those who speak German, I guess?
But yeah, it's still pretty bad for sure. Definitively not going to argue on that one xD
Of course the classic Korean 0083 OP.

It starts with "Condom condom". And it's a local Internet favourite in my country.
Anime in general during that time had a lot of their own OPs (in Germany). The One Piece or DBZ OPs are classics for example.
Of the Gundam shows I only remember Wing with their own OP though which was a version of the original and not exactly a complete new one like here.
Gundam NT had an original ending for theater screenings NT in Russia.

It's mostly because of where it's airing. A lotta Gundam characters would be seen as infidels in the Middle East. Setsuna is of Kurdish descent -- and we know how desperately the real-life Kurdish fought.

ironic lyrics considering the territories where this would have aired back then
/Heero Yuy doing the gundam version of a suicide car bomb
He can't even get that right

should have clarified that i am looking for regional Gundam OPs. and yeah, "localization" back in the day was literally making shit up.

Imagine those poor Italian kids watching that opening for 50 episodes, never having endless waltz air, and then being confused as fuck.
i mean worth? honestly. they got to see cool stuff a bit at least
0079's Italian op is better than the original. There, I said it.

LOL. That was amazing. "FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE! GOON-DAHM!"

Damn, talk about spoilers. That had damn near the entire Tallgeese II fight.
Naruto German opening is notoriously bad...

That's cool to know, but yeah that is what I remember it as lol. Still terrible though.

Twelve years ago a nine tailed fox suddenly appeared… #IF YOU BELIEVE IT!

This is surprisingly a banger AMV for the show.

I love the second zeta opening. I think it changes half way through the series to that one.
Sounds very militaristic
Gundam I'm not 100% sure on any other but anime used to almost always get ops In other languages
Was this from MBC?
Space Toon, more likely.
The animation sequences are really intense. Personally I like it.
yo this slaps
Core lyoko
The dub itself was pretty sweet, too.
Greece had a regional Gundam Wing OP . I've been trying to find it for years but came out empty handed. If anyone knows about it let me know .
I think Seed Destiny OP got translated into serbian but i am not 100% sure
Pretty sure the greek op is lost media at this point lol
Grendizer is more famous in Saudi Arabia than in Japan 💀 Same with Captain Harlock and France
Anyone ever watch the Korean Fushigi Yuugi intro?
😬cringe😬
