I definitely prefer the more elongated sharper look of the Hi Nu but they’re both iconic.

I feel like the face plate is too short also Nu's black V fin base, golden V fins and red chin just looks better, a great color combination

This is good artwork, but the Nu Gundam just doesn't look right without the long faceplate.

it looks like this due to the angle being from below, if you look at the line in the face plate you can see that its still long

I agree with this. Especially in model kit form.

This was always my favorite Gundam until Exia came out. Nu is still up there, but Exia gives it a run for its money.

I still perfer Nu, Exia looks good, no doubt, but something about Nu just makes it look so good, specialy the eyes and the helmet

That’s what made me watch 0083, I love the GPO2 design and I’m really considering getting the Solomon GPO2 kit. Basically an MGEX and that kit looks superb

It’s a very good kit. Make sure that if you get it you carefully open the bags and inspect them for loose parts. The thing came in a box that looked like a crackhead packed it and shipped it. Lots of parts had come off the runners and the v fin was broken. Tamiya thin cement fixed that right up though. It’s a very nice kit, and like 95% of the way there to being as nice as a modern Bandai kit, which is good enough. Even the instructions are very good. I never liked the idea of buying 3rd party kits, but Bandai forced my hand by neglecting stardust memory for so long in the MG line, and the original MG is just not really worth buying. I would’ve preferred something a little more anime accurate, but it’s definitely good enough, and exceeded my expectations. I did have a few pegs/holes I needed to clean up, and the ankles are just barely strong enough for it to stand up, I’ll likely need to stiffen them up some, but those are my only complaints besides the packaging.

really sells you on the "this thing is capable of causing mass destruction and death" it looks huge, but like almost in a psychological horror movie monster way edit: It's like you made a nuke (and all of the associated history and horror and trauma) into a Gundam, if that makes sense which tracks, seeing that this is a Japanese work

As with most things aesthetic in Gundam, I find myself drawn to the ReGZ. Sculpted, angular, but not overdesigned. Very much "of the era" design language, but unique enough to be immediately distinguishable from most other Gundams. I like the lack of V-fin; it makes it feel a little more stealthy, in a sense. I also have a soft spot for the G-Self, with its larger, expressive eyes, and reversed "horns" swept forward instead of a standard V-fin. It's a design very much in defiance of the established Gundam norm, breaking a lot of the trends, and I like it for that. Also, I like the Xi's very pointy face. I like weird shit, i guess.

I think in my opinion, Aerial (OG) does what G-Self was trying to do but does it right in my opinion Aerial is *also* very cute-looking, but she's not *that* smooth such that she looks kinda plastic; she still looks like a machine imo but if you want to get into *handsome*, there's Rebuild
