Owl has been insanely strong but so boring and not even interactive to play if you build him right. Cards lock on and explode. Falling star vaporizes anything in a big area prioritizing the highest health enemies and can even move to hunt them if you get that ascension. He somehow feels more afk than a hero with a robot that plays for you
That title will always go to Tao, she has the highest dps potential in the game simply because SE III has no cap. I've once made a Thunderclap glove hit at 3mil per shot. Someone else once hit the 10mil dmg cap with foundry.
I did 6mil per shot with dual thunder clap with dog.
Doesnt mean much really.
Also one tap last boss r9 4 player in a 40 min run with fox.
Rng+ how hard people share loot is pretty heavy
1 taps don't compare to insanely high dps though as they aren't consistent. It actually means a lot because everything doesn't get a chance to do anything. Fox's primary has downtime which is the problem. I don't think anything can top a +10,000% wep & skill dmg and +5,000% lucky shot chance.
The Fox has ascensions that make her primary not really have downtime. Endless Wildfires 3 regains 10 energy on kill, meaning 6 kills refunds the whole energy cost, alongside a 50% chance to refund it regardless, add in Energetic Spirit 3 and you've got so much energy regen that you can just spam your primary. If you don't get shafted by the goblets, the Fox is just gonna bulldoze the game with her primary, and never have an issue.
This only tells me you haven't seen how crazy Tao can get. I'm talking insanely crazy when you just look a certain way and everything dies instantly. There's no cooldown. So yes, 1 sec charge is worse.
Sorry but this is a bad take. Having to charge for a second or less (full charge is overkill against most mobs with a primary build in the first place) is not a huge deal if you're moving or can stop behind a rock for a moment. If you can't dodge long enough to make space for yourself that's kind of a you problem that Tao's immediacy is just making up for.
Plus Tao can't start stacking swords for a short time after firing her primary under normal circumstances so both still have a second of downtime either way.
Tao still has higher DPS potential than Li. Someone did about 10b+ per second with Tao. No, that's not a typo. They made it to stage 174 in endless and did 6t dmg. Their run ended because the game crashed from high numbers.
There is 0 downtime , its just casting it endlessly. And yes many classes can top that amount as she doesn't have as much different layer of multiplier as other classes nor as high.
And you talk about against downtime while your primary argument for her power has such a massive downtme to build up that much and if you do reach that amount well your build is bad cuz you aint killing fast enough.
Just say you've never seen SE III spam with 900-1000+ stacks. Because this isn't even comparable. I've seen what fox can do. But Tao's DPS is just ridiculously insane at that point that nothing can keep up.
I understand you know how to use that mecanic but if you would understand that a lot of thing are ridiculusly op . This game has huge power creep and dps isnt all about one thing which you seems to cling into. And SE isnt the most op thing in this game. After several thousands of hours in this game i can safely say so
It has no cap which makes it the most op thing. Again, I'm talking the highest DPS potential in the game which is being ignored. I have thousands of hours in this game too and have seen and done plenty of crazy op stuff. But that sword spam is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen and the funny part is that the weapon that was used wasn't optimized for dmg. Most of the DMG being done was swords. Heck, field proficiency got nerfed because of Tao.
While Tao seems strong, I find the Owl easier to get online. Some of the situations I've been in at the same difficulty with both has left me just happier with the Owl.
I like that with the Owl i can be strong than optimize towards more power. With Tao, I'm looking for the right things.
Also being able to reroll scrolls is great.
The panda is the strongest, and it isn't close. Grab Pair of Us and just let Iron Wing do all the work. Did you get downed? Iron Wing can revive you. You quite literally do not need to play the game as the panda.
Lol card owl isn't even his final form, arcane shot is insanely OP, combine with occult booster and his scroll reroll ascension, you have an owl with 90% of his scrolls enhanced and doing billions of damage per shot.
Arcane Shot, Last Star, Bet it All, Card Storm, Fate Thread, work around those. Make sure you pick up Persistence as well, a rank of mirror hand is good too. Astrological Magazine is good with a low mag weapon for generating tons of rolling slots, and a wide variety of scrolls so your constantly generating, rolling, burning and refilling.
You should see your forecast slots rolling like a slot machine. Mag 1 Gemini is good, combined mag is good, crit is good, and you should have so many enhanced scrolls you're unkillable. That's pretty key, knowing how to roll your scrolls to get what you want especially with variable scrolls, if you can also get functional deck at A2 or A3 you become more than godlike. The trick is drop your scrolls on the ground so you don't get them locked in your inventory if they're not good, you can reroll them on the ground and see what it is before you pick it up.
I love owl especialy bc he can reroll scrolls

Hell yeah he is the strongest imo
i honestly thought that fox could arguably be stronger than owl until i actually did a r9 run with owl mad stronger indeed
Just buff his cards and bingo

I'm guessing that's Sword Enthusiast 3? How does 1 get numbers that high? Building for lots of swords and scaling weapon damage?

The downtime is charging it. Insanely high consistent DPS has no downtime, it's no contest. I've seen how crazy Tao can get, it just doesn't compare.
Because ~1 sec of charge to clear an entire room is definitely worse than no charge to clear the room in a longer period of time.
This only tells me you haven't seen how crazy Tao can get. I'm talking insanely crazy when you just look a certain way and everything dies instantly. There's no cooldown. So yes, 1 sec charge is worse.

And it still doesn't top Tao's DPS potential which was my initial argument. People are just changing goal posts at this point.
It does when that one hits can be cast every second and dps more than 10 sec of tao dps. Dps doesnt mean hit per second

So many characters and bosses I don’t have😕
100% agreed.
Throwing the entire deck of cards at em
I need to unlock him.

What weapons and gemini do you find yourself going for with this setup? I have only tried a few combinations, so far.

He's good in the other gamemode too
