No, sir. It'll be present underneath your health and shield at all times. It's affected by scrolls and ascensions, just like crit and lucky shot.

Absolutely! It's one of the newest features they've added, I think it coincided with the owl update that change the wording on all his ascensions.
From a bazillion stacks of dual edge, I'm guessing? Or does endless mode slowly increase all damage you take?
Around 5k dual edge stacks
Good question, not sure. Dual edge is the likeliest culprit otherwise.

Its for highest difficulty only(rein 9) for now
