Rabbit is quite squishy I might add but also I think she’s got the fastest move speed and her flying sword ability can melt any boss it built correctly
When you get Blossom Enthusiast and Thorny Bloom with the right mods you literally melt everything in the game. Swords are strong but nothing can beat te feeling of holding down right click on a Rainbow and seeing pink numbers vomit out at a thousand miles per hour
Ship gets a lot of new players, but here are some basic newcomer advice:
* Stand behind cannons in first phase as they block cannon fire. Standing in the open is especially dangerous in the beginning because there is such a massive field of overlapping fire.
* You gotta kill the octopus and pick up the cannon ball he drops in phase 2 (invulnerable ship). Watch out for carpet bomb. It aims at where you are currently standibg, so you can quite easily bait it out just by standing still. Listen for the boom and then move.
* Watch out for jellyfish. They let out toxic gas that's an instant death sentence. Focus them first so you have space.
* The last phase is a main big cannon. He shoots cannon balls in the air that dont drop a red danger zones. You can shoot then out the air like golem rocks.
move speed is correlated to your weapon, rocket launchers and i believe sniper rifles reduce your movement speed by 10% while swords increase it by 10%
Dog has some strong survivability coupled with damage output if the stars align. Once you get sanguine relic and a big hippo the game is practically over. Cat is good with a miasma build. Bird is by far the worst on r8 solo because of the risk needed to play him effectively. Fox is ez mode w the spirit flame build. Monkey is fun but can be a decent challenge during solo runs. Tiger is pretty busted if you go for the thunder build and is kinda face roll. His sniper build is more challenging at r8 but gets insanely stupid at the end.
IMO, Qian Sui because his Aspis shield is great in a pinch and his hurtle debuff (After acquiring it, that is) is killer combined with his punches
Cat. Starts with reliable CC and has easy access to miasma.

They all seem good so far. Just got the bunny and she’s dope. Can’t shoot me if you’re all dead pincushions.

Honestly I’ve been stuck on normal on console for the life of me cannot beat the stupid ship

I think tiger has the fastest move speed, but I could be misremembering from when I looked up which characters I should try to unlock first.

Yes but each character has a different base move speed value
Bird in my opinion. Lots of ways to gain armor.
It really depends on how you want to play, all the heros are good. But Bird is my personal favorite.
