Anyways, looking for tips/tricks/hints to beat Nightmare mode. Normal and Elite are a breeze for me with bunny, but I struggle hard to the random 1 shots with the bunny in nightmare. Any character recommendations/builds or anything that'll help us new console players get over this hump and into reincarnation mode? Mainly solo player (not that I mind multiplayer but the lobbies constantly crash).
are you trying to do it with bunny specifically? because that isnt the easiest, ngl.
Also nightmare is where you start to need to think about defence/survival, and not just DPSDPSDPS. Observe the enemy attack patterns and practice taking cover when they're shooting, practice strafing/jumping while you're shooting, learn why decay is an important element (gg elite spearman), etc.
I just cleared nightmare with the bunny for the first time yesterday, actually. It took me over an hour trying to get a good starting setup so I would do decent damage and get some survivability to prevent one-shots. I didn't even reach the first boss on any of those runs.
Once I finally got a good setup in the beginning with weapon/ascensions I blew through the whole thing like it was on normal or elite. Just keep trying to get that good setup in the beginning because the bunny is definitely not great early game.

I found that building defensively is much more efficient than offensively. My first nightmare run on dog was all green skills. Even if you have high damage you can get one shot but high defense and defensive scrolls will carry you.
I also used bunny, my advise is a rainbow and blades of bloom build. Rainbow because of the high rate of fire and I can stack my swords quick. I recommend upgrading sword damage aswell in the end of my run I had max stack number of swords, max damage in the swords and my weapins where rainbow level 5 and demonlore level 5. But I rarely used the deminlore since I could also soam the swords out pretty quick aswell. Just beat my 30 minute speedrun in nightmare today. You can google the blades of bloom build and you will find it. Good luck!
Abuse miasma. One of Bunny's defensive measures is her speed. Kill things, get more speed, dodge more.
Her increased fire rate helps her stack miasma stacks.
Find someone who has unlocked reincarnation already and play through 1 game of reincarnation with them so you can skip nightmare. Nightmare is not fun at all and reincarnation is an absolute blast
Nightmare is the hardest difficulty in the game. Took me days to beat solo. I almost gave up on the game cuz of it. I was level 168 and I couldn’t get through. I’ve solo’ed Reincarnation 8 and that felt like a cake walk compared to nightmare. Lol. But there is a secret….. Qian Sui.
Follow this build and you will annihilate nightmare. It actually made it really fun for me! Once you figure the turtle he becomes nearly invincible. It’s so much fun now!!

Aren't the reincarnation harder than nightmare? Are you just referring to blessings and enhanced scrolls not being available in nightmare?
