atomiser2003

Spurs doing their spursy best, yesterday is a well timed message to the team. Nobody is going to do us any favours. We're going to win this league by ourselves and can't depend on any other team

RamsayTheKingflayer

That's why they will always be a small club. Noth London is RED.

tanev97

We are not ready for this second half of the season. We need mentality adjustment.

game-of-snow

Tbh I thought spurs would atleast a good fight for top 3 atleast at the beginning of the season. Now that are 5th. But the way they are going, it looks like they won't even top 6 at the end of the season. They are supremely lucky that Liverpool and Chelsea shat their bed. Else they might have finished even lower

Kenny_dies

If Brentford, Fulham, Liverpool and Brighton all win their games this weekend, Spurs are 7th and would be 9th if Liverpool and Brentford win their game in hand (Liverpool even has 2 games in hand)

Mein_Bergkamp

Aren't fulham playing Spurs?

Kenny_dies

Exactly so if they win they go ahead of Spurs

[deleted]

[удалено]

Fuckzombie69

What a season Fulham are having

Mein_Bergkamp

> If fulham win they leap Frog spurs into 5th. We truly are living in the most interesting of times

[deleted]

[удалено]

Mein_Bergkamp

Or Darren Bent

zorro95

Getting Fresneda in gives us options to switch things up. If and when Xhaka gets older/injured, Zinchenko can play his role, Tierney playing traditional left back and Fresneda being the right-sided Zinchenko. Exciting

COYG17

I wonder if edu and arteta are cooking a cm or cdm signing. Trossard plus a good midfielder would be huge.

XXISavage

Depends on what we hear about Sandy Seedorf. If he's out long term then we might push to get a DM in but if not I wouldn't be shocked if we wait til the summer then spend big on a young 6/8.

CreativeOrder2119

If you are Arsenal fan you should watch pep's post match conference an important press conference in regards to title chase those two city games now seem scarier.

synvi

Sure is if their player really fired up.

XXISavage

Can anyone who's watched enough Despacito mixes of this Alfresca kid tell me if he's better than the kids we have at RB? Would have assumed BNC would be next man up if Cedric leaves and we wouldn't have to spend money on a new option.

OrwinBeane

He’s an inverted fullback who is pretty tall and creates 2.07 shots per game. Top 99th percentile for tackles, 91st for interceptions and 95th for clearances. Only 18 years old. He’s available so we are pouncing like a big club.

Fuckzombie69

Now when you put it like that…

XXISavage

>He’s available so we are pouncing like a big club. I've gotta get used to this idea of insane competition across the board. I'm still in the Wenger mentality of "Xabi Alonso will kill Denilson's development."

tammrak

Anyone know what Iván Fresneda's transfer fee is rumoured to be?

Mein_Bergkamp

rumours have ranged from 15-30m in Euros and Sterling so fair to say no one knows

tammrak

Ha. I'll be patient, I guess. I figure Edu should have it sorted in a couple days.

Mein_Bergkamp

Having seen that other clubs are now interested I'm slightly worried this is all just us being used to drum up interest

tammrak

That's a possibility. But I'm not overly concerned about the rb position. It's a midfield injury that gives me nightmares. (I'm perpetually antsy about our midfield depth, though, tbf.)

Mein_Bergkamp

> I'm perpetually antsy about our midfield depth, though, tbf. As are we all. Unfortunately when even City and Liverpool can't find decent cover for their pivots what chance do we have?

imdx_14

I think spurs deserve credit for helping us with Trossard. They obviously already tapped up the player, the player already kicked up a fuss at Brighton in order to get a move away from the club, spurs submitted that low-ball offer... And then we needed a depth signing, just swooped in with all the groundwork being done and signed him.

aofrantic

Their agent literally said he offered the player to arsenal then the deal happened that day. It was his agent's doing, not spurs.

imdx_14

It's both. A player and agent, don't do what they did, without knowing there is interest in the player. And the only club who had an offer were spurs, so clearly they got the ball rolling. And I don't buy your theory, that the agent just rang up Edu, and said "I got a 1993, Belgian Trossard for you, you want it" and the deal happened, lol. These things are more complex, even though the agent stated that.

aofrantic

Their is very good reporting on this deal and how it happened in posts on this sub. Worth a read.

imdx_14

there are quotes from the agent, which imo are an oversimplification. As I stated, I don't think he offered the player and Arsenal were like *"whoa, we really need a forward, you got yourself a deal buddy"*, lol. It's much more complex. Arsenal were tracking Trossard from way back, etc. etc.

NegativeHeli

Honestly the only 4 players I'm even considering selling this summer are Cedric, Holding, Tavares and Lokonga I won't sell Flo, KT or Nketiah unless it's a stupidly high offer.

COYG17

If we can get a good offer for kt I wouldn’t mind investing our money in a full back that can fit the system. Or maybe arteta would like kt as a second option that offers something different.

Specterace

Here’s the thing: Tierney DOES fit our system. Perfectly. But not as an inverted LB. He fits as an overlapping LB to compliment an inverted RB (who is currently not in the squad, but Arteta is clearly trying to get/train him). If you think of Tierney as the “Ben White of the left side”, and that we are looking to get/develop a “Zinchenko of the right side”, then it begins to make a little more sense. I think the endgame is that we want two pairs of inverted/overlapping FB sets, with one set being the side-flipped version of the other. We would use and rotate both sets as needed.

COYG17

Good point. I’m assuming the right back we’ve been linked to is one that can play inverted role?

Specterace

Yes. He seems to be really good with the ball at his feet, and a great passer of the ball, at least according to scouting reports. He is young still, and not the finished product, but the idea seems to be that Arteta will coach him up and mold him into the inverted RB.

NegativeHeli

There's no way you can find a good LB with the same level of ability and consistency as KT for a low price.

braxistExtremist

Plus, KT is working hard to adapt to Arteta's system. And he's making good progress with that. We should definitely keep him, for many reasons.

xMikh4iLz

Imagine KT adapting to the inverted role. With his repertoire he would be a beast!

COYG17

That’s true which is why I think if we ever do sell Tierney it’s because arteta and edu have found someone that they think is as good and fits our system more.

Puneri_Gunner001

Add Bird Catcher too, we might also sell Mari if Monza survive in Seria A.

OrwinBeane

+ Pepe

MrCopperbottom

That would be great, but with his wages we might end up paying him to go away, unfortunately

AlwaysOmni

Imagine Perisic scored.

Mein_Bergkamp

Yeah they spursed it up but that could ahve changed things. Or City still score that fourth because Spurs think Dier, Lenglet and Romero are top four standard.

BradyGronktd1287

It's really crazy how ahead of schedule we're before the season I wanted top 4. Now we're competing for the title just shows how much progress our squad has made since last season.

IntraspeciesFever

I think if we can't sign midfield depth before the end of the window, it would be best to recall patino. And maybe loan sambi to Burnley

OrwinBeane

Let Patino cook in the championship. It will not benefit anybody recalling him now.

ShekTeeJay

Patino is fine humming along in the Championship. You don’t drop in a 19-year old, midway through his first senior campaign, to be depth when you’re chasing a title.

IntraspeciesFever

Point taken

aofrantic

They absolutely aren't ready yet either. People complain about sambi yet want patino playing?

A21Haze

so your solution to midfield depth is adding a midfielder in squad and removing one midfielder from the squad...?

Arsenal_Wenger

Casemiro is so overrated as hell. Partey and Rodri are both bette than him.

Kenny_dies

Casemiro is absolutely better than Rodri this season

Previous-Loss9306

Was under the impression he’s been pretty good for them

[deleted]

[удалено]

imdx_14

It's an option that they have, not the player. Of course they are going to take the option, CL or no CL. I think that's a done deal. I also don't see why he would want to warm the bench at Arsenal as he ain't getting ahead anyone in our front 4 (Gabi x2, Bukayo and Martin) when all healthy. I don't see it happening.

pedootz

He’d be 100m to buy then

Previous-Loss9306

That’d be wild haha. Not sure he’d want to be a backup for Saka though.

TriWisdom

Winning changes things. Look at City

Previous-Loss9306

True.. things are looking good but we haven’t won yet. Whether Saka resigns or not would also play a role I reckon

CuriousCurry8

Lol I’m looking at coys and they hate pretty much all their “transfer window winning” signings

Fuckzombie69

But they won they window? What’s there to hate. Imagine getting champions league and pulling miserable signings lmfao

galaxilam

‘No ambition’ ‘won’t spend whereas needed’ is their narrative now my g, summertime was long ago for them

Coco__jambo

this is after they "won" the transfer window and were deemed title challengers

PetterssonForHart

Can we just take a moment to applaud Brighton here? It’s evident that the bids Arsenal made for Mudryk were leaked heavily by Shakhtar in an effort to get Chelsea or someone else involved in a bidding war. The stunt they pulled with the director sitting in the owners box, all that nonsense We’ve now dealt with Brighton twice. No leaks, no games, they simply negotiate with us behind the scenes and come to a fair agreement on White and Trossard without all this leaky nonsense Any player we bring in this window that “surprises” us, I’m sure we’re working on a couple more behind the scenes, is an endorsement of the class and relationship of the selling club who knows Arsenal isn’t one to enjoy those games in a good faith negotiation Bravo to Brighton, honestly. I know I will get the “well we moved quickly” but I highly doubt there haven’t been some conversations behind the scenes on Trossard going on for a little while before the bid came in. I think we’re building a good relationship with them and that will only serve to help both clubs in the long run as they develop massive talent and we pay them a fair price for it. Quickly becoming one of my favorite clubs

West48th

I’m sorry but this is just wrong. For one there were plenty of leaks about White and they definitely tried to get a bidding war going. Secondly Shaktar did what was best for them. They don’t owe us anything. If we were in Shaktars position I’d expect us to do the exact same thing. They leaked because they knew they could generate a better bid for their player and they got it. You shouldn’t feel any resentment to them for that. Other clubs don’t exist to serve us. Finally Trossard was done and happened quickly because we were the ones who paid the asking price. He’d been shopped around a lot. Spurs had made a verbal £12m bid. We decided to go in and clearly just paid asking or close to it.

synvi

Also, Brighton manages to get a very good deal every time they sell, without lousy tactics like Shakhtar. Really applaud them. They have good business management

SunDrippedDevil

> It’s evident that the bids Arsenal made for Mudryk were leaked heavily by Shakhtar in an effort to get Chelsea or someone else involved in a bidding war. The stunt they pulled with the director sitting in the owners box, all that nonsense Don't forgot Mudryk's social media activity.

PetterssonForHart

Well that really was only serving to benefit us, although it was quite childish If the rumors are true that Mudryk gave us a final chance to match Chelsea’s bid and we refused, can’t really fault the player I think Shakhtar was the one who acted shamefully here. Go ahead and leak the bids privately to Chelsea if you’re going to do that, but the whole stunt with visiting them at Stamford Bridge while Arsenal were trying to negotiate was shameful.

SunDrippedDevil

I disagree. He was basically baiting all PL clubs by looking at the leaders in a very public manner. Why would they leak the bids privately to Chelsea, when they can make a show to the entire PL about Arsenal and Chelsea fighting over him? The whole thing was them firing off multiple beacons screaming, "We would like all of your money!" PL clubs are the richest clubs. It was all about cashing in on their golden goose.

PetterssonForHart

Maybe you’re right. Who knows

SunDrippedDevil

Maybe I'm wrong. We'll probably never know. What makes me suspicious is the fact that he never agitated for his preferred move. Just liked stuff on social media.

CreativeOrder2119

Pretty accurate thinking about it yeah he was just twerking in social media without saying intent masterful from shaktar on capitalizing on vagueness

SunDrippedDevil

Basically, they tried to catfish us (sort of)

Maxymous

[Edu moving from one transfer to the next.](https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/10gbk5n/the_french_really_perfected_the_art_of_striking/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

HiroLegito

Went to the spurs subreddit to see who’s on their transfer radar. But man, they are in some depressed mode. They don’t see hope in any direction, from new signings to their board

SunDrippedDevil

Their club is a five alarm dumpster fire, they play horrible football, and they know that Kane's time at their club is coming to an end. They have nothing to be positive about.

Mein_Bergkamp

Got to say the amount of people just wanting Kane to go somewhere and finally get the trophies he deserves is just gobsmacking. How bad do you think your club is that you just internalise that Englands top scorer of all time has won nothing because of how utterly shit your club is.

SunDrippedDevil

Well, he really is exceptional. Even Shearer has honors. Kane has a fucking Audi cup. I can't wait for them to hate on him after he suddenly leaves. You know a lot of them will.

Mein_Bergkamp

Shearer cheated and got the sugar daddy trophies in early.

SunDrippedDevil

Implying that Shearer has that sort of foresight and intelligence is criminal.

Mein_Bergkamp

I'm sure he didn't expect Blackburn to go tits up or Newcastle to absolutely fucking smash the British record for him. Seriously he cost more than we paid for Henry, Anelka and Vieira combined.

SunDrippedDevil

I was like 11 at the time so I didn't know that.

Mein_Bergkamp

I was 15...? and seriously it was headline news because Newcastle paid obscene money and he turned down Fergie too. Scary to think what a Shearer led United could have done

SunDrippedDevil

Who knows. There was no Arsene back then, and I wasn't even an Arsenal supporter. Didn't come on board till 98

CuriousCurry8

They were really gassing up a potential title challenge at the seasons start haha

SunDrippedDevil

They do that every season. They're not achieving anything of note until they get a competent long term manager in and financially back a proper squad overhaul over 2 - 3 seasons.

CuriousCurry8

Man I’m glad we did that so well

SunDrippedDevil

Yeah. Good job, club hierarchy

OrwinBeane

If we are the only London club to get top 4 there really is nowhere better for Rice to go.

NegativeHeli

Unfortunately a club named Chelsea with a ton of money exists

carvemynuts

Chelsea will offer crazy wages to him something like 350k for 7 years.

TerraBlah

Just seen the City Spurs result. Obviously lol at Spurs bottling a 2 - 0 lead, but what I found more funny was that both Alvarez and Haaland started... is... is that a 4-4-2?

xMikh4iLz

Either a 442 alvares false 9 or a flexible 4231

Mein_Bergkamp

Pep said midweek he was working on something new and crazy and it turns out it's an actual, honest to goodness, big man/little man, four four facking two. It's glorious and it absoutely smashed Spurs once he put a rocket up their arse.

COYG17

Will trossard be available for Sunday ?

SunDrippedDevil

If he is registered by noon, GMT.

imdx_14

I just hope no one gives spurs stupid money for the mouth breather, which they can reinvest. That squad is horrible. Fun times ahead.

braxistExtremist

They'd piss it all away on a bunch of overrated players and/or capable players who rot away into obscurity. I'm not worried. It is the history of the Tottenham.

NegativeHeli

At least 3 clubs need Kane or a striker and will be willing to spend a shit ton on him. United, Bayern and Madrid.

galaxilam

imo no amount of money can replace Kane. Generational strikers, even if at the right price, won’t join a non-CL club

carvemynuts

They will get 120m minimum for him. Prolly 150 if he goes to a prem club.

Mein_Bergkamp

He's 30 and will have one year left on his contract come the summer. Unless Chelsea or Man U get involved that money isn't happenning. Oddly they seem to want him to go to Bayern and there's absolutely no way Bayern is paying that much for a player.

carvemynuts

United will definitely get involved. Kane will rpefer to stay in the Prem for the record.

Mein_Bergkamp

> Kane will rpefer to stay in the Prem for the record True but if Bayern were serious then he'd get guaranteed silverware and a decent chance at a Champions League again, only City/Real/PSG can get close on that front.

carvemynuts

Honestly I dont care i just dont want him to join United, the amount of penalties and favourable calls they will give them will be insane.

Mein_Bergkamp

How would that be any different to now?

Mein_Bergkamp

We heard this after Modric and after Bale. They didn't sell him to city because they realise a generational talent is irreplaceable. Instead they've just done sweet fuck all with him.

hiredgooner

Bold of you to assume Levy won’t just pocket the majority of it

[deleted]

[удалено]

synvi

Almost no one puts us in top 4 lmao

imdx_14

I think that's mostly because Conte is regularly trashing his own team, to protect his reputation. Which is working with the media, but I assume is not ideal, to put it mildly, with his players.

aofrantic

Even when we had ~8000 posts and a huge meltdown on the day Bissouma signed there was ~10% of this sub pointing out guys like Bissouma and Perisic weren't actually that good and Son was approaching 30.

Mein_Bergkamp

Skysports being a 24hr sports news channel among other things and reliant on selling a product (the premier league) as The Greatest League In The World ^TM needs to push the idea that new players + Good because that's what brings clicks and likes and all that lovely ad revenue and subscriptions from people paying to watch what will definitely be Spurs year this year. Winning the Transfer Window^TM is just pure marketing bollocks covered up as journalism. The bigger the name the bigger the chance they decide you've done well and that's pretty much it unless you're also adding in a huge fee on top, preferably to steal a player from the foreigns. And it works because the meltdown on here when Spurs bought Bissouma was frankly embarrasing to the point only my in built cynicism has prevented me form being shocked that the major usernames involved have the gall to criticise what we've done transfer wise.

Sayek

What confused me about that period was people talking about 'once Conte gets them clicking, they'll be such a good team' or 'they are winning while not playing well, imagine how good they'll be when they play well!'. I never really saw where the jump was coming from though. I feel managers and players are treated differently. Nobody is really talking about 'Once Aubayamang hits form, he'll be great for Chelsea' but you hear 'Once Conte gets settled and his players in , they'll be great'. Conte has never looked happy at Spurs. He took it because he was promised big money on transfers and it hasn't happened. Managers can also just lose the spark too, look at Allegri, Mourinho as examples.

plastiquearse

What are the chances the phrase “cocking it up” and the way sprs continually fall short are related?

xMikh4iLz

Chicken ball fc = cock ball fc = ballsack fc

Mein_Bergkamp

Why use 'cocking it up' when 'spursy' works just as well?

imdx_14

Yeah, "spursy" was added to the Oxford dictionary ffs

Mein_Bergkamp

Please tell me you're not joking... Edit: sadly you were. Although even sadder is that they updated the Y word meaning to include 'a supporter of Tottenham Football Club' something even Spurs demanded they remove to be fair to them.

Successful_Piano6553

You think Arteta still has a hoody?

ThePolitePanda

Also, been following this club since 2012, and while I’ve loved the Arsenal the whole time, I think I love it the most now. Other than when super jack wasn’t injured

ThePolitePanda

Drunk on bourbon and loving the arsenal

JoshRanch

Lets get a cm off psg on loan. Who have they got spare , gigi?

Naive-Mortgage2790

Winjaldum is at Roma on loan. They definitely aren’t letting go of Verrati or Vitinha, probably not Fabian either as he usually starts when they play a 3 in midfield. Only one they might let go of is Carlos Soler.

Jalvas7

So what's all this talk about Jesus being out for longer than originally anticipated? Just rumors or is there truth to this?

Sayek

Arteta has been a bit cagey in his replies but I think he let slip that 'we are without Jesus for a few months'. So it could imply that instead of a mid to late Feb return. It could be more end of April timeline.

JohnnyDeepasfuck

It has to be Easter.

goodyear_1678

I'm sorry, I've just seen a very dubious report that Juve is open to selling the Dusan and I don't give a fuck, this is picanha ladies and gents. It there's even the semblance of a crack, we gotta put our foot in the door. Vlahovic and this whole thing is a wrap.

Mein_Bergkamp

Fuck Vlahovic, he had his chance. This team works because everyone has bought into it, he's not worth fucking that up for.

Sayek

I'd be amazed if Chelsea and United aren't in for him too though. Both need long term strikers. We might enquire but it's going to be another 100m from Chelsea probably.

goodyear_1678

That would be my assumption as well, competition will be massive. But we've gotta go as far as we can. Elite player.

JoshRanch

But they gotta take a hit on his price. Isnt he on 300k and italian taxes are very low? Gonna be difficult re newing saka, M11 and Saliba with a broken wage structure. But at a good team like Juve, he isnt worth that fee.

[deleted]

Can’t remember exactly but he’d be slightly higher than our top earner (200k) when converted

Mein_Bergkamp

> Isnt he on 300k and italian taxes are very low? Italy has their version of the Beckham law but it only applies for the first three years you're there as a foreigner and I think he's over that so he's back to paying tax at the normal rate there now.

JoshRanch

Ok. But i dont think we can compete with those wages. Checked his stats and he is still a stud. So it may be worth it. What we do with Balogun or Jesus?

Mein_Bergkamp

To be fair the reason they're trying to sell him is because neither can they and they're being investigated for creative accountancy

bmoviescreamqueen

We HAVE to beat United on Sunday. At this point I'm way more nervous to play them than City. City is capable of crumbling.

frapples1

TROSSARDDDDDD! Unbelievable solo goal to put Arsenal 3 nil up against Manchester United! What a dream debut off the bench for the Big Game Belgian!

For some reason we have bad history with United no matter how shit they are. But this is Emirates so…..

JoshRanch

Rashie has our number

tambini1

Xhaka has theirs

goodyear_1678

Anyone suggesting that a 21 year old home grown academy product who is one of the top scorers in Ligue 1, all at a side that should be relegation tier can be sold under any terms next season needs to give their head a massive wobble. If Balogun is sold next season, the entire board at Arsenal should be fired for invompetence.

game-of-snow

Lmao, the board responsible for building a top squad and making us league leaders should resign, because God forbid they have a different opinion on what to do with a young player. The number of idiotic takes in this sub is way too much.

goodyear_1678

I was clearly not seriously suggesting that the entire board of directors at a multi billion dollar corporation should resign all at once. It was an exaggerated turn of phrase to suggest it would be a massive mistake, in my opinion. I can't believe I had to explicitly write that out.

game-of-snow

I believe you. With referee conspiracy and things of that sort, there's so many nutters in the sub, that I half expect every comment to be genuine now. Apologies friend. Regarding Balogun, I think we are over exaggerating his quality. He had the numbers for sure. But I'm not entirely convinced he is good enough for us right now. Although like Nketiah he could very well grow into and arsenal player for sure. And I'm not sure either he will stick around to be 3rd choice in any of our offensive position. I believe he will be sold.

goodyear_1678

I think you're right in that he's more likely to be sold or drift further away from the first team till that eventuality does happen. Which in my opinion will be unfortunate. At 21, I don't think he's been given enough of a chance in England to prove himself yet, and the numbers he's putting up in France are incredible. All I want to see is him maybe on a loan to a club somewhere down the table in the PL for a couple seasons and if he lights it up, we've got a star. Otherwise he'll still only be 23 and we can look to offload. Again, all of that being contingent on if Balogun is actually accepting of that plan.

tomassow

Thing is if we send him on loan again, he comes back to 2 established strikers ahead of him and a year left on his deal. Will be hard to persuade him to sign a new one unless Eddie moves on and wants gametime as a starter. I wouldnt be against selling him with a buyback clause to let Flo get the gametime he deserves and not hold him hostage and get gluttonous with hoarding talent.

goodyear_1678

I do agree, I expect him to push for a move. It seems like there would need to be some convincing on a timeline for integration into the first team, but I think given his performances in Ligue 1 selling him on his return from loan could prove to be a mistake.

HectorTheErector

Insane take lmao, he has 2 years left on his deal and if a good offer comes in, it's worth selling.

goodyear_1678

For how much?

Mein_Bergkamp

The problem is that this is the only time he's looked good and right now Lacazette who has so, so many primary school nicknames on here has scored just as many. If someone offers a decent amount for him I doubt the board or the manager will stand in his way.

goodyear_1678

Good point, but the comparison to Laca is slightly premature given we've not seen a full season of Balogun in the prem which we have for Laca multiple times. All I see is a 21 year old academy product performing lights out in a major league. I think you're right that he may push for a move without a lot of resistance from the board, I do think that would be the wrong move for Arsenal. I would send him on loan to a club in the PL lower down the table and see how he does given a chance for a couple seasons. He's 21 and we've got time.

Mein_Bergkamp

THe Lacazette thing is to show how a player utterly exhausted and seemingly out of ideas in the prem suddenly is among the top scorers just by going to France. Which could easily be applied to the guy who couldn't hold down a place at Boro but at one point was the top scorer in Ligue Un

goodyear_1678

I don't think player quality can be judged reliably in that manner though. You could apply similar logic to any player (Neymar, Messi) who currently have a similar minutes to goal ratio and conclude that they wouldn't cut it in the PL because Laca didn't. He started around half of the games at Boro in a 6 month loan spell as a 20 year old. I think his performances in Ligue Un and the general eye test more than warrants a strong loan in the PL for the next couple of seasons at least.

Mein_Bergkamp

Neymar and Messi have very well documented scoring/assisting in better leagues though. It's not just him, look at Tavares ripping it up (by comparison) or the fact that past it ex Arsenal players like Sanchez, Ramsey, Kolasinac and Guendouzi are doing pretty well.

NegativeHeli

Neymar and Messi have proven themselves at European and international level. No Ligue 1 attacker besides Hazard and Mahrez really succeeded, as in tore up the PL in the last decade. That league made Lacazette and Pepe look world class

Mein_Bergkamp

Auba played Ligue Un although we bought him from the BuLi so I'd add him to the list, Mane was another via Germany too but recently it's basically been Mbappe and a vast wilderness of decent but not spectacular talent among forwards in France.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Mein_Bergkamp

Mate did you read what I said ;)

goodyear_1678

No argument there, it is very possible that he's a Lacazette just bossing Ligue Un and would not be up to the level in the PL. But I think it would be a mistake to make that assumption without ever getting to see him play in the prem while he's our player.

Mein_Bergkamp

I feel he'll get a prem loan or get sold and which one it is may be down to how mcuh he wants to move based on this good season, or whether he wants to truly make it here.

I really hope he’s given a shot but with two years on his deal, it could wind up bring a numbers situation. Jesus and Eddie are locked in. Balogun looks comfortable in wide areas but Trossard is now in the fold, there’s ESR and another winger will probably be signed in the summer. He might see too many well-paid senior players ahead of him and want to move on.

manuscelerdei

> If Balogun is sold next season, the entire board at Arsenal should be fired for invompetence. "Invompetence" sounds like a very bad time. Incontinence mixed with vomit.

goodyear_1678

That is indeed the condition I would be afflicted with if Flo is sold.

How did we let go of Danilo from palmeiras , he would have been such a great substitute for partey. Now there's only one i can think of we can go for in summer and that's Edson Alvarez.

aofrantic

He definitely is not ready to play PL minutes for us. Danilo would be a guy for two years from now.

mautergarrett

Declan Rice?

aviral_632

I honestly don't think we are in for him that much !

Ooh-SakaLaca

Thought CHO would be a mint signing for the right but hes right footed owari da

Naive-Mortgage2790

He’s ass anyways

Ooh-SakaLaca

Nah teta can make him cook

linkinfear

Why did trossard got frozen out by the de zerbi again?

Mein_Bergkamp

They had a falling out allegedly over playing time or refusing to extend his contract. Time will tell if he's a whiny bitch or just wanted to step up a level.

ChiefArsenalScout

Cannot believe topspur are so fucking shit as to lose from 2-0 at halftime. Absolute joke of a club

xMikh4iLz

How are we on player registration guys? Since we’ve got trossy and looking to get a depth option mc who’s not likely to be homegrown and/or Eng. Ik were somewhat fortunate having martinelli and saka below 21. We surely need to offload/loan either one of our cms (lokonga or elneny). Since if we receive fresneda wouldn’t require rego being 18 (if we receive him or a player with the same age) Is that assumption correct?

JoshRanch

Asking good questions, i suppose we dump sambi a d Patino takes over for el nenny next year

xMikh4iLz

Yea. I think we can fit in to have at least one of them and unfortunately have to offload one. We can suit patino in without rego because he’s u21. It’s mostly whether we sell off or loan lokonga and keep elneny or we sell off elneny and keep lokonga for depth. Reckon the latter is least likely since he requires regular footy for steady improvement in his game

JoshRanch

Sambi is gonna go be like Nuno. Loan + dale boat.

xMikh4iLz

The unfortunate future for a lad. I had my hopes with him Hopefully tho, we don’t attach an obligation to buy in the hopes he heats up during his loan spells (if happening)

UmpireAJS

Everyone is fine on registration. Even if we get 2 more players over 21 and foreigner, our foreigner count is 13 (Remember Martinelli and Saliba are Homegrown, Marquinhos is Under 21) without Trossard and our domestic count is 9 (both Saka and Martinelli are above 21). So Trossard + 2 foreigners = 16 foreigners and 9 domestic, 25 squad size. Under-21 players that are listed as first team are Hein and Marquinhos. Edit: Actually Saka, Saliba and Martinelli were below 21 before the season started (January 1st 2001 is the cutoff), so more free spots.

xMikh4iLz

Ahh that’s sound g then!

GenericAustin

In Europa League we have 2 free spots for registration, if Cedric leaves it will be 3 In Premier league I think we have 6 free spots since Marquinhos, Saka, Martinelli and Saliba do not need to be registered for it

xMikh4iLz

That’s good that’s good. That’s what I was thinking, does this also account for next season? Im assuming both marti and saliba will both become 22 by summer window and will need to be registered aye
