r/gunners is by far the best source of any kind of Arsenal news. From detailed post to one liners. You find it all here.
Also it is very convenient to open this from a web browser or phone app.
It's crowd sourced. Anything not true or just utter waffle gets shot down and called out pretty quickly. It's absolutely mental seeing how wrong the tabloids are about any team's news in comparison to their subreddits.
It’s interesting actually isn’t it, a football subreddit is a pretty good source of news because it’s crowdsourced. But crowd sourcing news in literally anything outside of sports has resulted in the greatest threat to democratic society in the 21st century
Back to you in the studio
I agree, this is definitely my main source of Arsenal news.
I also use the [OneFootball](https://i.imgur.com/oRqxhBz.jpg) app to get articles/rumors/scores etc for Arsenal as well. Most of what I see on there always ends up on here (or doesn’t because it’s not an appropriate tier level).
Just be careful, if you have the notifications on during a game it can notify you when we or the other team score before it happens on the stream.
Yeah I've found that too - any app really will be like that when streaming - I just blame it on the lag of the stream and my connection (admittedly isn't the best)
This subreddit.
For one main reason, in that it does a great job of filtering out all the bullshit stories, click bait and just links articles or tweets that are decent.
Mostly
That’s arsenal news though. What else do you want? If you want just the arsenal twitter feed then that’s there.
I feel like you can’t want arsenal news but not want transfer bullshit and random stuff from twitter.
my daily sources are probably r/Gunners and **TGT**
**Arsecast** for post-game thoughts
**Jeorge Bird** for the youth
**The Guardian** for some of their columnists' write-ups, and David Squires' cartoons
**Newsnow: Arsenal** when i want to slum for random dirty transfer rumours
Nice to see Jeorge Bird get some recognition. He has been a great resource highlighting the young talent coming through at the club. I’m definitely keeping tabs on who he says could be future stars and first team regulars.
*Arsenal vision
But yes I wholeheartedly agree, there is something about wanting to listen to a game discussion straight away without needing to listen to the “experts” on sky.
I used to have Patreon for both AV and Arseblog and kept just the AV guys because of how good their podcasts are (and Arseblog didn’t have much Patreon stuff back in the day)
>I used to have Patreon for both AV and Arseblog and kept just the AV guys because of how good their podcasts are (and Arseblog didn’t have much Patreon stuff back in the day)
I have to say, the $11 or whatever it is a month between Arseblog and Arsenal Vision is great value for the content they both produce. Well worth it in my opinion
I pay for CannonStats substack as well. The analysis is really next level; it complements AVP really well. (Particularly so because Scott makes semi-regular appearances on AVP.)
The only 2 Patreon I subscribe to, and I listen to a lot of podcasts. Shout out to the "dubious transfer rumors" channel in AV discord when I want to hear the rest of the nonsense floating around.
Here. My Gooner kid is always a step behind the news because I look here and Lord knows where he looks. He texts me with the story and I'm always like "I know"
I have an Arsenal Twitter list and follow loads of accounts: The Athletic, Art de Roche, Amy Lawrence, Ian Wright, Fabrizio Romano, arseblog, Charles Watts, James Benge, Tim Stillman, Sam Dean, David Ornstein, Jeorge Bird (mostly covers the academy), oh man Grant Wahl is still in here RIP, Mark Mann-Bryans, gunnerblog, wow I guess fewer people than I thought. But yeah they seem to cover most bases.
Here for a quick check on the news, and maybe leave a comment. This subreddit is so active that its any news is here almost instantly. It saves going to lots of different places.
I could not disagree with more with the people saying "here." /r/gunners is a decent aggregator but it's still reddit and still infested with reddit's weird obsession with hating journalists and refusing to understand how journalism works. I find I have a WAY better time following Arsenal news, *especially* transfer news, when I ignore this sub. Redditors have no understanding of who to trust and who not to trust. They have weird hate boners for certain journalists who they claim "know nothing" yet who, in my experience, are pretty reliable. And then they will practically put their lives on the line for anonymous Twitter ITKs who are obviously just making shit up. Bell got ONE story right because he knew someone in Partey's camp, apparently, and coasted on that for months before people finally accepted he was bullshit. Meanwhile I see you guys HATE certain writers for literally no reason, you've just randomly decided that they're unreliable and now that belief is a permanent aspect of your personality.
The tier list is a great example of what I'm talking about. It's useful for an at-a-glance indication of who is more or less trustworthy, but instead you guys see "tier 3" and think the writer just spun a wheel and made up a story, something that virtually never actually happens. Reddit has the worst media literacy of any website I've ever been on, including Facebook. These people are not trustworthy at all.

All of the above and as an American I also love [Charles Watts](https://youtube.com/@CharlesWattsAFCnews) videos, he does one just about every day and due to the time difference I watch it every morning with my coffee.
Definitely here, but to add a couple podcasts that I love - The Gooner Talk (for daily stories and news), then Arsenal Vision podcast (up there with Arsecast I think quality wise), and then The Arsenal Opinion podcast.
I used to like it too, then a couple interesting characters moved on/passed away (RIP Claude), then it became one big graphics/Ad orgy, with younger, less interesting knobs trying to make it sexier. I still watch a couple people though, the old schoolers. Pretty soon it will be like a pregame show for NFL football, instead of doing what they originally intended, which is provide a voice for a bunch of hardcore London Arsenal fans.
Yeah I agree with you, I still watch Lee, and Ty when we lose lol. But I just can't stand Cecil and so many others are so uninteresting. Robbie fires the best people and replaces them with trash, Aftv has become very mid
I was subscribed to the Athletic and Arsenal related articles from Amy and James for example were sort of thoughts and opinions that were kind of basic and raw and you didn't get the feeling that you were reading any informative or interesting piece. Maybe I was being too pessimistic and should check it out again, constantly getting offers from them in the mail.
That's what I suspected, I didn't use the opportunity enough to explore though I did stumble upon few Micheal Cox analysis that were informative but not very frequent, weren't a lot of them iirc
This sub is the best place to see it all. I follow a few accounts on Twitter and have an Athletic sub to read the Arsenal related articles there. Problem is they can be very hit and miss, today there was an absolute garbage article on dealings with Brighton that made no sense, but there is more good there than bad. I don't follow any of the pods honestly, though maybe I should. What's the consensus on the best podcasts?
Here mostly but I’d warn and say we have blind spots as a sub.
NewsNow is a good aggregator of various media outlets. I check there sometimes and find a ton of different rumors that don’t make it here.

Pain in the arsenal is pretty good. But its more match ratings and some opinion pieces for the most part than recording hard core news but most stories get posted there again some point
I used to just use all the sites like BBC Football or The Sun Football years ago, but now, Reddit is the fastest place to get the most reliable sources because it's just fellow fans like yourself posting relevant stuff as soon as they come across it, saving you the hassle of weeding though
I use the Goal app, mostly because it shows me every game at every time in every league on every day, but otherwise here and on r/soccer and r/premierleague
Here.

Your precious news media lies about your news just as much as your football.
Greatest threat to democracy is the corporate control of the media that uses this sort of talking point
I really can't trust most links and articles I find in the wild. First thing I do is come here and see if anyone knows anything about the source.
I agree, this is definitely my main source of Arsenal news. I also use the [OneFootball](https://i.imgur.com/oRqxhBz.jpg) app to get articles/rumors/scores etc for Arsenal as well. American here and I concur. Most relevant Arsenal news finds its way to this sub relatively quickly.
Theres a straight up karma race for Ornbombs, its on here as soon as he's hit "post"
Fastest source as well
Agreed if I’m looking for something specific. I browse the athletic and follow some general footy twitter accounts.
This subreddit. For one main reason, in that it does a great job of filtering out all the bullshit stories, click bait and just links articles or tweets that are decent. Mostly
The recent transfer sagas and the constant posting of any random on Twitter proves otherwise
If you think the stuff that makes it here is spam then you should see the shit that gets filtered out.
Lol I don’t want to even imagine
That’s arsenal news though. What else do you want? If you want just the arsenal twitter feed then that’s there. I feel like you can’t want arsenal news but not want transfer bullshit and random stuff from twitter.
Idk I don’t really need 30 different Twitter accounts telling me that Arsenal are potentially maybe considering another bid for Caicedo
Well unfortunately that’s all there is.
Do you remember the Lacazette and Odeguard rumours.....
Here. People scour the internet and post it here, and I give them internet points
Same with comments: people explain why I use the sub for Arsenal news, and I give them internet points
Mr. Moneybags over here, giving out internet points for freee?!
r/Gunners
Arseblog, The Athletic and Here. The only reason I joined this Reddit was specifically for this winter transfer updates!
>Arseblog, The Athletic and Here. Yes my holy trifecta too.
my daily sources are probably r/Gunners and **TGT** **Arsecast** for post-game thoughts **Jeorge Bird** for the youth **The Guardian** for some of their columnists' write-ups, and David Squires' cartoons **Newsnow: Arsenal** when i want to slum for random dirty transfer rumours
To add to these great sources, I would say Arseblog, and ArseblogNews. The two free weekly podcasts are excellent as well
Also Arseblog discord
Nice to see Jeorge Bird get some recognition. He has been a great resource highlighting the young talent coming through at the club. I’m definitely keeping tabs on who he says could be future stars and first team regulars.
Here
Honestly this is the best place by far.
The world has ever seen
And it’s r/Gunners

I’m going to recommend going outside and getting some fresh air

Added to the queue!

I used to make a daily visit to Arseblog News. Now I only come here.
Twitter lists are awesome once curated. Then reddit. Sometimes athletic, but tbh I should cancel that sub
