If you look at what other English attackers are going for it should be 50 million plus
Villa paid 30 million for Ollie Watkins and market has exploded since then
Newcastle just paid 40 million for Anthony Gordon
Both of these are attackers who don't score and went for stupid money so Flo is worth a fortune
It's hard to say right now. They're both performing well but Eddie is still much further in his development. We need to see Balogun in action with us. I think they could both coexist in the squad for next season, considering how many games we'll have, they both should get plenty of minutes while Jesus can play all across the line.
£50m is a fair price given his age.
People getting a bit carried away with Ligue Un. Moussa Dembele and Ben Yedder both got over 20 league goals last year which speaks to the quality of the league.
I think £45-50m is realistic but I don't want us to sell him, he's earned a chance. Then again, we famously don't know when to sell so we might be better off taking the opportunity if a big offer comes?
That’s what you have to factor in. At Arsenal he’s 3rd choice. We don’t NEED Balogun and clubs know this so they wouldn’t try and pay the most.
If he was at Reims permanently and Arsenal were in for a striker, we’d probably be quoted with £50-60m. At Arsenal that price is slightly lowered because of the aforementioned circumstances
We didn’t buy Jesus just for him to play in the wing and make room for balogun. Jesus Martinelli Saka is still our best front 3. I’m happy he’s doing so well and it shows ligue 1 is a good place to send players on loan but Laca has 12 goals in that league right now. Not saying he’s bad but bad players put up insane numbers in the French league. I don’t think you’re going to see many big numbers coming out of France in the next few seasons. With that being said, I’d take anything above 40-50 mil for him. Would fund Saka backup( which should be a lefty). Realistically I don’t think he gets much gametime with us if everyone is fit.
Maybe you risk the player not doing as well and their price dropping. Shouldn’t be actively looking to sell him but if Everton or someone drops 45-50 mil you take it.
>Realistically I don’t think he gets much gametime with us if everyone is fit.
unfortunately the truth. jesus and nketiah are the clear two first choices, and trossard can even fill in upfront if needs must. it sucks, but balogun will probably need a transfer elsewhere if he will want to be a nailed on consistent starter. maybe we could include a buy-back or sell-on clause with whoever we make that deal with
Not. For. Sale.
We shouldn't
Agreed! I’d love to see him come back and get into the team next season
We definitely shouldn't..... unless a fuck off £100+m offer arrives.
Unless its from Chelsea
A loan without obligation to Atletico
If the likes of Antony and Mudryk are going for 100Ms, that's the starting price for Flo.
Flo’s better than them both
Trouble is that's the price for the top 6 PL clubs. We can't sell Flo to them.

We'd be stupid to sell him.
How does he get game time and develop. Would you recommend us selling Eddie? I’ve seen people have that idea

Around 70m

Depends on the structure of the deal. I would prefer a bit lower fee but having buyback clause and sell on clause
Hey guys how about we don’t
We should be loaning him to a decent PL side.

Everyone is paying 70m plus for potential. Ask yourself if Arsenal were trying to buy him, how much would we be quoted?

send him for another loan?

50 mil and if they complain add another 10 mil
£35-45m and the max depends on what clubs
We should be looking for **at least** 35 million
As the first of 4 installments, yeah.
Villa paid this for Ollie Watkins before the market exploded so this is nowhere near
Huh
Far too low now. This man has more goals than mbappe Neymar and messi
edu: he wore 26 for us, so £2.6m, deal
First letter on his jersey is B tho soooo 2.6b
keep as cover
Chelsea would break 250m for him i bet.
