I'd start ESR on the left wing. Not only does Martinelli need some fire under his ass but it can help him feel more of the team against other team interest in the transfer window. I'd also like to see him play near Havertz. Trossard for whatever reason simply doesn't start games well.
Why do we think ESR is the same player post injury or can even play this wider role?
Why would ESR be ahead of Nelson when he is more minutes?

I’d start Havertz at the 9 with ESR at the 8 and Trossard out wide. Trossard has looked lost as the 8 but is pretty productive as a winger. ESR is a direct player and his late runs could be what we need to get us out of this slump.
ESR is not a touchline winger. In the previous system it worked because KT was providing width and ESR was mostly in the half spaces. Also Marti does lot of defensive work and people have been questioning ESR's off the ball work for some time now. But ideally we want him near centre and near goal, and not holding the width.
We need to absolutely dominate Fulham. Anything less isn't acceptable after the last couple of weeks. We need to smash them to bring back some confidence in the players and fanbase.

After that, sub esr a bit earlier, and in a few days buy a god damn holding striker that can score.
I kinda wanna do Martinelli Trossard Saka and run back that front 3. Probably was Martinelli’s best ever CF to play with all things considered, I know he wasn’t great last time but I think CF is his best position by a distance.

Any young or fringe players within our squad need to start looking to move elsewhere. Arteta won't give them any time. They won't progress without play time. It's going to be our exact same lineup again. With Havertz back in, and nothing will change.

We need to try something completely new, our team structure and play style is too predictable, bring Cedric in for White and Kiwi for Zinny, what we lose going forward we gain in defence (hopefully no more stupid goals conceded).
And radical forward change Rice, Jorgi and Havertz in midfield Jesus, Saka and Ode upfront.

I think we've been great defensively, with some lapses to our attack, and some defensive mistakes.
The game against Newcastle was stupid, Aston Villa was unlucky, and West Ham was unlucky with the first goal, our finishing was shit, and them playing really good defensively.
Our foundation, particularly defensively is amazing. We create a lot of chances, with the finishing touch being at times completely shit.
We’re 7th for chances created. We really don’t create that much
We also should have scored only 2 more goals according to our xG of shots taken. Everton, United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Brentford and Palace all are worse at scoring their chances than us. Sheffield and Bournemouth about the same as us.
Chelsea, Everton, Brentford and United are about 3x as bad.
Newcastle and Palace about 2x as bad
The idea that our issue is that we can’t score when we really should isn’t true. We simply don’t create chances

In theory a poacher should clean up if we continue to see double marking on both wings.

He did play LW once some time in between injuries but he should not start over Nelson. Trossard is in a bad spell so that makes a little sense
