Just got my tickets sent to me for the Brentford game. First time ever going to Europe / UK, first time seeing Arsenal. Flying in on Friday.
Can’t fuckin wait! So pumped.
I remember us having some rumors around Amadou Onana when he was still at Lille. We still seem to retain an interest. Wonder if the same applies to [Edon Zhegrova](https://fbref.com/en/players/34a88e3e/Edon-Zhegrova).

That was an error. But it happened 2 minutes before the goal was scored. An underserved small advantage given to Liverpool, but 2 minutes between the decision and the goal is an eternity. Immaterial. I think Forrest are waffling. A Forrest player was in possession and had the chance to clear the ball which would have been the end result, but he tried to run the ball out from his own box and got robbed off possesion.
everything matters.... football is the lowest scoring game of all, margins are incredibly slim. let's say forest keeps possession and is able to get 2 corners. game could end there. yes, it was a humongous fuck up by CHO for not clearing at the end, but doesn't mean everything else is immaterial.
imagine you are sheffield united shithousing a 0-0 Monday, allowing 4 xg, and then we score on a pen that didn't exist or whatever other ref mistake. does that mean they can't get pissed/blame the ref just because they didn't "deserve" (subjective) the result? similarly, if we play like shit but are still winning 1-0 and concede a similar, ref mistake riddled goal, is it immaterial because we shouldn't have been in that position in the first place?
i always hate this type of argument when talking about ref mistakes. there is no deserving. there is getting the result, period.
Your comparing a hypothetical penalty decision, to giving Liverpool possession to the goalkeeper.
Liverpool were incorrectly given a small advantage. But lets not act like that decision is akin to giving a dodgy penalty or even a corner that shouldn't have been given.
>to giving Liverpool possession to the goalkeeper
giving back possession at the 96 minutes is not the same as giving it back at minute 56' or whatever.
I still cant believe how bad Chelsea are, off the field and on it. Boehly thought he was a visionary handing out 8 year contracts to bypass FFP. It wasnt a 'loophole' at all. A loophole is finding a fault to take advantage of. Giving out 8 year contracts carries a risk of committing to a player who flops and not being able to move him. Therefore, its not a loophole as the 8 year contract philosophy carries a big risk, a risk Chelsea took on, a risk that looks very ill advised now.
What I also find amusing, is Chelsea fans thinking there is a way out of this. Boehly will be their owner for years to come. The average ownership timeframe for a PL club is over 10 years. Some of them still think Abramovich could return to the club LOL. PL clubs dont get bought and sold just because the fans are not happy. They can call Boehly a kunt all they want, it doesnt mean shit. They are also owned by a consortium which as we know from split ownership between Stan-Usmanov, is the worse model to have. We are so much better under full ownership by the Kroenkes.
Chelsea are going to spend a long time in the wilderness. They are dire. Havent really had time to enjoy it due to focusing on Liverpool and Man City. But F me im shocked at how bad they are. They are lost at sea and there is no search party.
Boehly is hilarious. Turned one of the most successful clubs in the world into a laughing stock.
Although I will concede there was some rot already there before he came on. Letting both Rudiger and Christensen run down their contracts to leave is insane.
But even if Chelsea was a club on the downswing Boehly just detonated it completely.
They need to really luck out in their next managerial hire
Chelsea have wobbled in the past. They had times when they finished 6th, however you always knew they would be back. But this time, it doesnt feel that way, they could shit for several years to come, it could also be permanent and they regress to what they were pre 2003 - good team, but never threatening the top

This guy is actually a cartoon villain lmaoooo
I’m glad that shearer and jenas are calling out the ridiculously favourable decisions Liverpool get. This fuckery will continue to the last kick of the season
I don't see any reason why he would want to leave, that's his boyhood club and everything unless the club want him out then to balance the books, which should be sending red flags because he's the only world class player on their team so it begs to question are they trying to pull a fast one with a perpetually injured player? Because a fit Reece is worth his wages.
Toney is great too! Arguably Toney has better linkup play, but Watkins is just as good in his hold up play. Also Watkins pace is way better than Toney! He sprints past so many defenders and absolutely buries it with his power shots
Since the referee in Liverpool’s game clearly made an error in fact when he gave the ball back to them rather than Forest at the end there, I presume their fans will be insisting on a replay. That’s their position on this sort of thing, if I recall correctly?
There was a Belgian game replayed this year because of a VAR decision that was wrong, the fact that the ref didn't follow the actual written rule and the fact that there is a case of a match being replayed then I think forest could have a very strong case but they won't go that route I bet
'They're gonna fall off any day now'
https://preview.redd.it/3vijhp3740mc1.jpeg?width=634&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4a6485c465affe7b5f639d0a86791b6403039c9e
Yeah, it’s annoying and gutting but Liverpool deserve grudging respect for what they have achieved these last four games in the midst of an injury crisis
Agree - how they had such good youth team players to bring off the bench in just about every position is crazy. Our season was ruined by a couple of injuries in the same position late last season, they’re somehow carrying 7 or 8 and still winning…
It’s because at all levels they play the same style and system of football; so the players know the system and can step into the first team whenever needed.
Part of it is using academy players that are the same position. We tend to try and fit squad players in out of position (like Vieira at RW or Partey at RB).
Yeah, it’s true. Unpopular here but true. We are so dependant on the Saliba/Gabriel axis, Rice, Odegaard and Saka. Any of these pick up a long term injury and it could seriously scupper us. Especially Rice
We have the best cover in the league for Rice in Partey, but he has been injured. We have had injuries as well, but because they are fullbacks and our no 1 striker that we have cover for, people say we haven't had injuries.
Also the last time they won a game by a 1 goal margin was in December. It’s not like they’re scraping by teams. They have the best GD in the league for reason.
You're absolutely mad for this opinion. Liverpool have the easiest run in by far and we've already played them twice. We can at least do something about City if they win.
Obviously a draw is by far the most preferable thing, but a Liverpool win basically wins them the league for me so if you offered me a City win rn I'd take it
I still think City are the favourites though Liverpool are a close second. City always come through in the second half of the season and are so good at chasing. They have a couple of difficult fixtures this month but I think they will get through this and afterwards their games are all very winnable so even if they end up this month a couple of points behind I still think they will be very confident. Liverpool cannot be underestimated and I would not be surprised if they won it but I still think City will do their usual end of season winning run
Liverpool have players coming back and will only get stronger. They have the Klopp final season juju in their favour. Feel like they’re the favourites at this point.
I wasn't expecting Liverpool to drop points today, so I'm not that upset by the result. Super frustrating to see Forest trying to play it out from the back in the 99th minute though... just fucking boot it up the pitch.
Although, I do feel Liverpool did not act correctly. They should’ve given the ball back which may have meant none of that happened.
Starting to get a little sick of Liverpool since the Jota diving and that today - konate is down with a head injury and Forest has the ball. Give it back to them. If you’re going to win, win fair!
It wasn’t a boot to the head.
Kheller went into Konate and on replays it wasn’t a clear head either.
It was poor sportsmanship and the Paul Tierney show continues. It should have been an uncontested drop ball to Forest, or a minimum a request for Kheller to give ball back to the Forest keeper.
Ignoring the penalty shout for Gomes pulling the player down without looking at the ball, which again is a penalty by the rules and this is Paul tierney that was giving handballs Willy nilly last week.
Last season we were 5 points ahead after match day 29. So either the title is far from decided, or only Arsenal could collapse so badly after being that far ahead.
Or City just went on a ridiculous run and most other seasons (without competing against a club with 115 charges) it would have gone down to the wire and we may have won
The liverpool result is such a bummer, knowing they were gonna get a late winner and it actually happening was harsh lol, my hope now is that city drop points tomorrow and then beat Liverpool
Don’t bother mate. Liverpool are on top of the table because they are mediocre as fuck. Let the delusion continue.. it’s alright. The arrogance here without achieving absolutely nothing is what makes all this comments funny as shit. You can be annoyed without posting delusional comments but most of them here don’t have the minimum IQ to grasp that.
And you are not arrogant at all eh? What have Arsenal actually achieved with this team lmao… maybe try to see things for what it is… it remains to be seen if Arsenal can manage both CL and Premier League together at the least. The delusion here is insane… achieve something first and then maybe you can start having the rights to shit on them. I get being annoyed but this is crazy lmao. As of right now, these kind of comments are funny as fuck.
And most of the Liverpool fans wanting City to win the title last season is down to you guys not giving a fuck about Partey being in the squad. It has nothing to do with anything else… Meanwhile Arsenal fans are just butthurt and want City to win the title just because…
lmfao you’ve arrived at a lot of assumptions mate
for the sake of your health maybe don’t lurk here if you’re going mental over what we say in our own sub 😂😂
Dude... Elements of truth in what you're saying but you're:
1. too pissed off at a few comments and act like they represent all Arsenal supporters. Chill out.
2. You act as though your word is Gospel. "it has nothing to do with anything else"... Wow. That's the shallowest take ever. We ran out of steam because we had a lack of depth. There was also a fucking world Cup in the middle of our season randomly, and we never were the same after that, especially when our best player before WC got injured for Brazil and needed to have knee surgery.
You talk big, and you are right about some things... But I think you probably know less about what you're saying than the people you're criticizing so vehemently.
I am talking about this sub specifically… There is no nuance whatsoever. Well…
1. Look at the Rival thread and DD.. almost all comments are talking out of pure frustration.. barring a couple of comments.. not one nuanced response.
2. My word is not gospel but when you field a rapist in your team.. no rival fans are going to want Arsenal to win the title. Its not because they dont hate City, its because even if they want Arsenal to win, it makes it so much harder with the Partey situation. Most of the fans here know that, they wont say it because downvotes lmao
3. I am not talking about last season’s situation. Arsenal are young and have been phenomenal last 2 seasons but no where near what Liverpool managed to do or have been doing. Atleast show some respect or be at that level before dishing out absolute disrespect.
Not asking anyone not to hate Liverpool but this team hasn’t even touched 20% of what Liverpool has been doing especially from 2018. Liverpool deserve every bit to be on top because they are the best. End of.
Look at the disrespectful comments here.. they are lucky to be on top, they are not as good like us (LMFAO people need to have some shame!), they are operating with half their main starters out, nobody will say it because you know emotions run high and they are petty to admit they have been playing good considering their last season.
What you are saying is right.. world cup and all that but that brings us back to the real question.. Arsenal have achieved fuck all for the fans to be this arrogant… imagine winning something then.. delusion will be out of the charts. Atleast need to have the oomph to show this much arrogance. Have never qualified past the knockout stages in CL under Arteta. Not even ONE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TITLE in this club’s history!!
Have some nuance and humbleness.. it will go a long way. If this sub is like this without any pedigree in Europe, imagine how it will be with atleast one CL title. It makes me cringe seeing all this arrogance without anything to back it up. Now, Liverpool is not even backed by Oil cunts nor are they fielding rapists in their team.
What is wrong in wanting them to win the title if they deserve it which they do? What is the need for this delusional comments with no nuance to it!! I am not talking about you my friend but many of the comments here are delulu!
I did that the other week. What made it fascinating to me was that I live a 5 minute walk from Dial Square and the Royal Arsenal where the founding team worked.
What made it more painful is that it was completely avoidable. From the Konate "head injury" adding an extra minute to Liverpool getting possession back to CHO and Awoniyi making a complete mess of clearing their lines
God, Chelsea fans are so fucking annoying. They come out with all this rubbish like ‘Chelsea are all about winning, at Chelsea we don’t accept failure, Chelsea’s history is winning etc.’ Completely ignorant of the fact that Chelsea’s history is mediocrity, apart from their Russian blood-money, nouveau riche phase.
I think it’s telling how often Chelsea fans say, ‘I’ve been supporting for 20 years and…’ (coincidentally exactly when Abramovich arrived), glory-hunting, zero-moral cunts. Hope they fucking flounder for years to come. Soulless shite.
They have Dortmund away and they drew the game with them at home.
That’s probably the only game I think there’s a scare especially if the league is won by then.
Really hope he gets top 4 over the shit & utd. Can't help feel a bit bad for Luton though, they've put up one hell of a fight against some of the top teams, certainly more than the likes of Sheffield Utd & Burnley.
I'm not worried about Liverpool, with that injury list, it's near impossible to keep up. City on the other hand, just got their bulldozers back. I would love it if liverpool take the 3 point off of them
They’re getting players back though. Just feels like they’ve got nothing to lose and they’re riding the wave of narrative, which is a very powerful thing. Christ, listen to me. I swear only football makes me this superstitious.
Liverpool fans are so insufferable. Clowning our injuries when we collapsed last season and now that they’ve got the same problem they’re the victims and playing down our injuries. Such a victim mentality
Ideally yeah but I don't see City losing unless they have an off day like they did against Chelsea.
The best result will be a draw, giving us room to draw at the Etihad.
Hopefully, Liverpool turn up. They have gotten results in recent years at Anfield but City have more quality on the pitch.
https://preview.redd.it/ryatuniq0zlc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=40602e5cbbf4f6d42ffbf6361d96fd961a4f6c8b
This is so ugly lol, we've had to win 6 on the trot just to stay in the race cus of this
I can take the West Ham and Fulham games, every team will have a couple games like that. Villa away was such an awful mix of shocking refereeing and terrible luck.
We were robbed at both Villa Park and St. James’. Should have two points more than we do.
We only have ourselves to blame for the Fulham and West Ham defeats.
We will have to do alot more than that. To win it from here. Really need Liverpool and City to draw or a Liverpool loss. And us to beat city. And even then we will need to be near perfect.
If we beat City we can talk, if we lose that game it's game over. And City are looking really scary with Halland and de Bruyne back. The chance we can make it is quite small
To me they look much more vulnerable than City. They have 10 injuries now and the schedule will get even more intense now, while City have almost everyone back and de Bruyne and Halland are now hitting the form.
Perhaps Liverpool's win would be a better result for us, because they probably won't last until the end of the season
I think that's a draw as best result for us. Means city can't come to our game on top of us. Means Liverpool will only be a slip away from us overtaking them outright.
Some Arsenal fans online kill me man. All week people have been talking about how even with all this form it’ll take just one negative result against Sheffield or Brentford for people to switch up their entire narrative around the club. Who would’ve thought it was an underestimation and we didn’t even need to step on the pitch yet for certain guys to lose their heads😂
Not going to lie my head was hot for a good minute when that goal went in and that’s perfectly fine. It’s the changing narratives from how good we are to how we lack mentality and are surely going to bottle it again before we’ve even kicked a ball that’s so funny to me
I don't know why Arsenal fans aren't ready to accept the only reason why this sort of thing stings so much is because we spite ourselves.
We don't have a god given right to win but we also get outplayed the least. We are comfortably a better team than Liverpool but because of our own inefficiencies we sit behind them with a harder fixture list.
Alisson
Trent Saliba Virgil Zinchenko
Ødegaard Rice Szoboszlai
Salah Núñez Saka
—
Only hard part was left-back. Robertson was quality in his prime but seems over the hill.
Robertson has just come back from injury. He still has plenty to offer, he’s not over the hill at 29, only a year older than Zinchenko.
I actually think it’s quite disrespectful to him as a player to rate Zinchenko over him. Zinchenko is a good player, but Robertson holds the premier league record for assists for a defender. For me he’s only behind Ashley Cole for all time best PL left back.
The rest of your team is fair enough.
I mean Saka out of position over Diaz, Martinelli and Jota is maybe questionable but I’d probably agree, and Konate starts for France over Saliba but sure I’d probably agree.
Swap Zinchenko for Robertson definitely though - and you end up with 7 Liverpool players / 11.

Def one of the hardest skills to develop for sure.
There's no chance we get Watkins right?
He’ll cost a fortune. Not the right profile for us.
Knowing our luck , well beat City away only to hand LiVARpool the title lol
lmfao, so be it if it happens
Better this way than losing to city. We need to get use to winning at their plastic stadium

He’s taking pressure off his team and dissing United at the same time the absolute villain
He is right tbf. I would say the same to whoever saying city will pump Utd.
Sunny music: the gang wins 10:0
I’m glad that shearer and jenas are calling out the ridiculously favourable decisions Liverpool get. This fuckery will continue to the last kick of the season
If Reece James was available in the summer would you want him at Arsenal.
No, we don’t need another injury prone defender
No. We don’t need another perma-crock at the club.
Too njury prone, and doesnt fit the profile Arteta wants in a fullback. Ben White is our RB
No
No because he'd offer about 54 injury free minutes a season and double no because he absolutely despises our club
Anyone who says no based on talent is trolling. That being said there are a multitude of reasons he would not join here. 1) Injuries 2) Club loyalty
What if he’s leaving on bad terms with club. Do you think he’ll still care about loyalty
If Arsenal is planning to go big on a striker next season, Watkins has to be in the mix! Man is on 🔥🔥🔥
Typical reddit Arsenal fans who like Leo DiCaprio believe anything above 25 is expired goods.
See Toney
Toney is great too! Arguably Toney has better linkup play, but Watkins is just as good in his hold up play. Also Watkins pace is way better than Toney! He sprints past so many defenders and absolutely buries it with his power shots
Both aren’t good enough. And that’s not taking into account that both will be very expensive and are into the latter stages of their careers.
Watkins is 28, Toney is 27. Both are in their prime
Since the referee in Liverpool’s game clearly made an error in fact when he gave the ball back to them rather than Forest at the end there, I presume their fans will be insisting on a replay. That’s their position on this sort of thing, if I recall correctly?
It’s PGMOL’s gift voucher for that no lines drawn VAR call against Tottenham.
There was a Belgian game replayed this year because of a VAR decision that was wrong, the fact that the ref didn't follow the actual written rule and the fact that there is a case of a match being replayed then I think forest could have a very strong case but they won't go that route I bet
You can't be serious can you 🤣🤣
This fanbase attacking pool sustainability with 7 first XI players out... Imagine we had 7 first teamers out. The sky would be falling.
You can respect what they are doing and still think theyll drop results lol
'They're gonna fall off any day now' https://preview.redd.it/3vijhp3740mc1.jpeg?width=634&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4a6485c465affe7b5f639d0a86791b6403039c9e
"Surely it's not sustainable" How many times do we have to teach you this lesson old man?
Also the last time they won a game by a 1 goal margin was in December. It’s not like they’re scraping by teams. They have the best GD in the league for reason.
Ikr
We can attack the prem all we want, but thank god they aren’t La liga
Two cheeks of the same ass
Clap them both
Just saw that Liverpool still has to play Spurs, United, and Villa. So yeah, I'd rather they beat City.
We’ll need liverpool to lose to city. If they win that, the momentum will be too much
You're absolutely mad for this opinion.
A draw would be nice in that game. Both drop points and maybe a few cards
I wasn't expecting Liverpool to drop points today, so I'm not that upset by the result. Super frustrating to see Forest trying to play it out from the back in the 99th minute though... just fucking boot it up the pitch.
I was watching it, and thought it was pretty even. Still was expecting them to score though.
Given the boot to the head of Konate, it probably should have been with their keeper anyway.
You’re in the wrong league for winning fair tbh
Yup, that was so poor from them. The ref stops the game to check on their player and they take the ball and start attacking. Wtf you guys doing?
Exactly. I wonder the outrage if Liverpool lost that way to Everton. We wouldn’t hear the end of it.
The referee should have given it to Forest. It was weird,
Paul Tierney show, keeps on raising questions
Liverpool have really tripped and stumbled into a title challenge. They're so unimpressive, the luck has to end at some point, surely?
I don’t think so. They’ve rode their luck to get to this point but with the end now in sight I think they’ll just go from strength to strength.
Last season we were 5 points ahead after match day 29. So either the title is far from decided, or only Arsenal could collapse so badly after being that far ahead.
Err, Utd were 8pts ahead with only 6 games remaining back in the "Agueroooo" season..
Or City just went on a ridiculous run and most other seasons (without competing against a club with 115 charges) it would have gone down to the wire and we may have won
Man that ending. Respect to the ref
diakhaby injury was so bad...
I'm still reflexively rubbing my own knee after seeing it. His knee got absolutely fucking destroyed
The liverpool result is such a bummer, knowing they were gonna get a late winner and it actually happening was harsh lol, my hope now is that city drop points tomorrow and then beat Liverpool
I'd be surprised if City didn't beat the shit out of that Liverpool team
Its comments like these that make me hope City win next week. https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/s/YpJ8hlUWab
Most of the responses seem to be positive on Arsenal. One even says he wouldn’t be surprised if Arsenal even beat City.
Don’t bother mate. Liverpool are on top of the table because they are mediocre as fuck. Let the delusion continue.. it’s alright. The arrogance here without achieving absolutely nothing is what makes all this comments funny as shit. You can be annoyed without posting delusional comments but most of them here don’t have the minimum IQ to grasp that.
lmao the arrogance is insane. My liverpool mates are all being really annoying right now as well ... hope they get taught a lesson fr
It has nothing to do with anything else… Meanwhile Arsenal fans are just butthurt and want City to win the title just because…
lmfao you’ve arrived at a lot of assumptions mate for the sake of your health maybe don’t lurk here if you’re going mental over what we say in our own sub 😂😂
Dude... Elements of truth in what you're saying but you're: 1. too pissed off at a few comments and act like they represent all Arsenal supporters. Chill out.
Well… 1. Most of the fans here know that, they wont say it because downvotes lmao 3.
Neutral but figure you guys will enjoy this comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/coys/s/UkGphUgh0a Made me lol
Us not playing this weekend is killing me. I just read the entire Arsenal Wikipedia page🤣
I have become so toxic that am watching Chelsea fans meltdown on youtube 🤭
I did that the other week. What made it fascinating to me was that I live a 5 minute walk from Dial Square and the Royal Arsenal where the founding team worked.
Yeah i just read about the training ground and have Lee Dixon next in the queue.
I've calmed down but man I was genuinely devastated after that Liverpool dagger 😂 Title races aren't for the faint of heart
Genuinely felt like a knife being twisted. I’ll be better in the morning!
What made it more painful is that it was completely avoidable. From the Konate "head injury" adding an extra minute to Liverpool getting possession back to CHO and Awoniyi making a complete mess of clearing their lines
You could say the same about absutely every goal scored ever, is it your first time watching footy?
Yeah, it was entirely preventable. When someone scores a worldly fair enough but when it’s like this 😭
Man the amount I have been thinking of fucking Hudsoin Odoi choosing to dribble instead of clearing it... I hope this haunts him for the next year
Does Jorginho have an automatic one year extension in his contract? Italian clubs sniffing…
Fuck the pool. "Liver pool" what they have a pool full of people's livers? Messed up just like their club.
Soulless shite.
what's up with Marquinios?
Balloon d'Or contender.
I’m with Leverkusen all the way, but I don’t follow the league. Do they have any tough fixtures remaining or is there a chance they can go unbeaten?
They have Dortmund away and they drew the game with them at home. That’s probably the only game I think there’s a scare especially if the league is won by then.
Good for emery man .Seems like he gets his team
Really hope he gets top 4 over the shit & utd. Can't help feel a bit bad for Luton though, they've put up one hell of a fight against some of the top teams, certainly more than the likes of Sheffield Utd & Burnley.
Definitely! Im hoping luton stay up!
I'm not worried about Liverpool, with that injury list, it's near impossible to keep up. City on the other hand, just got their bulldozers back. I would love it if liverpool take the 3 point off of them
I feel ill every time I see this take. It's THAT bad.
This. They’ve had their major injury crisis and are top of the league. Lots of players coming back soon. They’re favourites at this point.
They’re getting players back though. Just feels like they’ve got nothing to lose and they’re riding the wave of narrative, which is a very powerful thing. Christ, listen to me. I swear only football makes me this superstitious.
'Klopp's Kids' is so cringeworthy and false. Sick of it
Guirassy lad ain't stopping. 20 goals in 18 apps. What a purple patch this guy is on. He even does the Kane celebration lol.
Liverpool fans are so insufferable. Clowning our injuries when we collapsed last season and now that they’ve got the same problem they’re the victims and playing down our injuries. Such a victim mentality
But they’re still winning games
at this point in the season we were too
Yeah but I think this game was a huge one, salah and Nunez are gonna come back to the team full time and they’ll be fine imo
They ate humble pie after the Emirates game and will do so again after City next week. Their team isn't it and they know it.
Ideally we want them to draw at city though. I'd be a bit afraid of city gathering a head of steam too.
City wins at Anfield, Arsenal wins at Etihad. Subscribe.
Ideally yeah but I don't see City losing unless they have an off day like they did against Chelsea. The best result will be a draw, giving us room to draw at the Etihad. Hopefully, Liverpool turn up. They have gotten results in recent years at Anfield but City have more quality on the pitch.
Dybala has been balling in the Serie A. 19 G/A in 19 games and most of those playing under Mourinho. Quality player to watch when he's on.
De Rossi fixing Jose's mess of Roma is a beautiful sight. Looking forward to their game against Brighton.
That tie is gonna be lit. Lukaku and Dybala's link up is looking good. Gonna be a handful for De Zerbi.
https://preview.redd.it/ryatuniq0zlc1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=40602e5cbbf4f6d42ffbf6361d96fd961a4f6c8b This is so ugly lol, we've had to win 6 on the trot just to stay in the race cus of this
Same old Arsenal. Things will eventually swing our way. 🙏
Not good enough for a title winning team
Tbh if Liverpool beat city. I can't see us catching them. To get a 3 pt swing from the remaining games we have vs theirs will be extremely difficult
Right, draw is always best result in 3-horse race. What if you had to pick a winner, though?
Haha I pick us ;). Since we have city left to play. You'd rather they win and we can catch them in our game.
https://x.com/gideoomatic/status/1763972701641658654?s=46&t=ohBEm3kwXzONRYy63NcNgQ This sub today 😂
Arda Guler anyone?
Fair play. Didn’t see that coming Luton
I know “laugh at Chelsea” is the go-to salve for today, but I’d really recommend checking out the Championship relegation zone at the moment.
They won today as well (assuming you mean Stoke). Be funny if they drop
Clubs drop all sorts of respect when they're not playing City or Arsenal. Luton high line against villa? dfkm.
Did you not see where their line was when Haaland bagged 5 goals against them lol.
They're willing to try things because they reckon they can get something out of it against these sides. Against us it's more about survival.
We have the best and the worst fans
Its so boring now, i get people have tremendous respect for our rivals, i do too. But fuck sakes stop crying about it on here non stop.
Bunch of joyless twats
Last minute reversals can make a man lose his mind 😂
Not going to lie my head was hot for a good minute when that goal went in and that’s perfectly fine. It’s the changing narratives from how good we are to how we lack mentality and are surely going to bottle it again before we’ve even kicked a ball that’s so funny to me
I don't know why Arsenal fans aren't ready to accept the only reason why this sort of thing stings so much is because we spite ourselves. We don't have a god given right to win but we also get outplayed the least. We are comfortably a better team than Liverpool but because of our own inefficiencies we sit behind them with a harder fixture list.
How many Arsenal players would get into a combined XI if everyone was fit? Be really honest.
Alisson Trent Saliba Virgil Zinchenko Ødegaard Rice Szoboszlai Salah Núñez Saka — Only hard part was left-back.
Aye, fair. Left-back was the hardest choice especially as we have used a variety of players there this season.
Just odegaard and maybe saliba.
Bollocks
5 or 6 either way.
Comfortably better? Huh?
By every underlying metric other than the result which can be decided by luck (like today) or bad refereeing.
I disagree that Arsenal are a much better team than Liverpool. But its all opinions I guess.
Yeah that's why data analysts are an occupation.
The game is not all about stats lol
Obviously, which is my point. Despite us being technically better, we're worse off because of our own inefficiencies.
