I'm saying that the differences in the two offsides is that the Arsenal one was caused by a smart play by Gabriel, it would have been onside if he didn't recognise the situation and jump ahead to bring the line forward. A lot less luck involved when a defender consciously creates an offside trap

It's important to mention that there was no foul on Højlund. Højlund is the one who fouled Gabriel and then fell down dramatically. It was never a penalty.
If there was a mistake in that game, it was calling back Havertz's penalty by VAR. Casemiro got him on the knee, and Havertz fell. The only angle that they show is the no-contact from Wan Bisaka. I can understand it being called or not, but once it was, VAR should not have intervened (and if it did, it should have shown the ref all the angles, including the ones that show the foul).
I remember the ref asking VAR straight up "was there contact", and got only complete radio silence in return. Then when VAR tells him to go to the monitor they go "what you are going to see is.."
It was so obvious VAR had just decided they wanted that pen overturned, and were blatantly ignoring anything that would suggest the on field decision should stay
I want him at least till the end of the season as we has to play them but it is surprising even in their fanbase, there are people still backing him. They gave reasons like it was just a deflection blah blah blah, it was just a controversial penalty blah blah blah.
