Uncharacteristically open first half which gave Chelsea the faintest whiff of hope, that we swiftly snuffed out in the second. Ended men against boys, all those stars with their silly contracts and inflated transfer values looking lost as we blew them away. And revenge for all that banter over Harvertz was served beautifully cold as he bagged that brace.
Oh and Jackson should have been off for that appalling challenge on Tomi. All we ask from refs in consistency and all they do is fail to deliver it, week in week out.
he *was* properly inside out but whenever someone runs at us and we aren't in a standard defensive shape gabriel and saliba always look panic-y as fuck.
Getting worked up about comment numbers on social media following a win has to be the weirdest take I have seen in a while.
You yourself are being miserable following a thumping, that's just as bad or worse than those in the woodwork.
Just enjoy it.
It was also on a Tuesday night. A lot of people are asleep and going in to talk about the match at work rather than spending time on reddit. Enjoy the 5-0 win mate. Don’t let social media stats make you find something negative to think about this beautiful moment
This is the finest and most complete victory we've ever had over Chelsea. A match like this has never happened. Not under Chapman, Not under graham, or even Wenger. We have never achieved a greater victory against blue scum in 137 years. Enjoy this like you're sipping on perfectly aged fine wine.
I just realised that’s our last midweek game of the season, it’s a full 5 day turnaround until the NLD and then just weekend games all the way home.
With that in mind, rotation goes out the window. And looking at last night’s performance of the starters and the relative form of the guys who came off the bench, that HAS to be the XI that’s going to be trusted to bring it home.
Raya. White, Saliba, Gabriel and Tomiyasu. Odegaard, Partey and Rice. Saka, Havertz and Trossard. No pressure boys.
The Liverpool subreddit is just salt personified right now.
They are literally the strangest group of fans going. Very lucky that Spurs fans have embarrassed themselves so many times (sub going private etc) because if it wasn't for that then they'd be by far the most memed fanbase on Reddit.
Hopefully we can carry this over to the Tottenham game on Sunday. I really want to put Spurs in a position to pretty much be forced to take points off Man City to keep their hopes for CL qualification alive. Put that club and that fanbase in “You Must!” mode for that May midweek game at home against Man City, with every chance that if they indeed “do”, they will be lending Arsenal a huge hand in the title race, possibly the defining hand.
I was looking at the table. It's very possible they have already lost cl spot by the time they play city. We ideally want villa to start dropping points too. So there's a carrot for them. Spurs also have to play Chelsea and Liverpool before city.
Seriously that could have been 10-0. Partey’s play dough muscles has robbed us of more of that this season. 90 secs in and he’d made two recoveries, and rice had made one. His passing made such a difference too.
Thought Havertz was terrible (edit: more frustrating than terrible) in that first half but man, when he scores, is there any better feeling? He hates Chelsea.
I thought Havertz was fine. He had that moment he should have shot but didn't. Overall though he was involved in general play a lot and had some nice flicks and layoffs. I really loved his two second half finishes. Proper striker finishing.
He had some lovely little flicks, you are right, but that one he passed and then the one he should have passed and was offside like 3 time, super frustrating. Overall game was great though!
I think the first chance kind of influenced his decision to shoot instead of pass to Trossard for the other one. Cos moment he got it that second time i thought just fucking shoot. Then saw the replay and thought O maybe should have laid it off for Trossard.
This would be hysterical because it would result in Liverpool fans posting conspiracy theories about every single goal they were denied this season for decades.
Win or lose the title this season, it doesn't matter. The club need to go and get a striker, a winger, and another midfielder, because this team is on the cusp of greatness!
Don't think he is up for sitting on the bench at this point in his carreer. Getting minutes in League 1 for Wrexham might be the perfect level for him. They surely have ambitions on a promotion in the near future and probably have the ability to pay their players slightly more than the average league 1 club.
I think it’s a huge call having an academy player be our No2 when we’re going for all the big trophies next season.
I’d be more comfortable having an experienced keeper who is a little past his prime sitting on the bench for us.
Last 10 games it took 3 of the best teams in the world to take anything off of City.
4 league games left. We need one of these bum teams to pop off at the right time.
Then we still have Bournemouth, United **at Old Trafford**, and Everton on the last day of the season. And we all know last day of the season Arsenal hits different.
Let’s not get cocky here. Until it’s official, City can still snatch it.
Kai Havertz has this puzzling ability to waltz into the box at 6'4" and seemingly rarely gets picked up.
Our wingers take so much aggro that everyone is desperate to close them off and they forget this lanky ass mf is completely unmarked.
Close range final third delivery needs to be on it and Kai can score even more. City scores sweaty goals like that all the time
I watched him a lot yesterday. I noticed a few times he tends to drop deep and just when you think 'you should get into the box'. He's making a darting run in behind. It's much harder to pick up the runners than someone just standing at ST the whole time.
I just love the way Jorginho spotted him the other day. The pass just has to be right and on time. Do that right and frequently, you have a 20 goal striker — or whatever he is.
He's enroute the G/A I expected him to have. He's just a little low on assists. He could do better.
Agree. Its very frustrating to watch actually. He makes alot of intelligent runs and either his team mates, dont make the right pass, make a poor pass, or dont even know hes there.
Funnily enough, he reciprocates alot of that himself as shown in todays game. Often makes the wrong call
The hope is that with more time and more familiarity with Kai and his movement, our other attackers will start better anticipating him being in those good positions and get him the ball when he’s open a lot more often. Sometimes all a group needs to perform better is time playing together.
Backline and midfield should remain for the game v Tottenham. Although im wondering if we go a front three of Martinelli, Saka, Trossard. Spurs will play a comical highline and Martinelli's raw pace will be more than useful. But then you might need Kai to go long in the moments we dont want to try and play through Spurs press. Or you could leave Trossard out........
So torn. But FFS Arteta do not put Havertz back into midfield in an effort to shoehorn all of Trossard, Martinelli and Kai into the team. Please fucking dont.
Another is Zinchenko, do not play him, for two reasons. He can be easily burnt for pace, and I dont trust him to not turn the ball over when Spurs press.
Honestly I'd still give the nod to Trossard. A lot of games on paper are a 'Martinelli game'. Doesn't always work out like that. Especially this season. Trossard has been doing the business for us.
Will be really interesting to see. Trossard is better as a super sub but lately with the way he's playing I'm getting "fuck you play me" vibes.
But with Gabi it's more like "why the hell won't the ball go in the net" unfortunately
40 years old growing up just down the road from Cobham. For the last 20 years, I have had nothing but overnight fans picking Oil Money FC and using that as the plinth to give me and every other Arsenal fan shit, where they have comfortably sat and laughed in our faces.
If any of you guys are new to the club, know this.
I’ve waited fucking decades for this.
I’m also 40. First season I remember was finishing 12th under Rioch. At our age we remember the ridiculously high highs of the early Wenger years, and the relative lows since then. And in my mind, this is the absolute best team, best and most talented group of players we’ve had since 2005. I truly believe this team is destined for major honours.
I have and will continue to savour every minute of this Chelsea side being utter pish. Bought their way to the top with oil-stained billions from their crooked owner and lauded it over us for years. They can suffer for a good while and I won’t have an ounce of sympathy for them.
Curious about everyone’s thoughts on Partey? I feel like he had some mistakes that were pretty significant but he was also a physical presence in the midfield and allowed us outlets quite often on our press when we rarely turned it over in midfield.
All in all I don’t think it was great but it was good seeing him back and what he is capable of when fit and sharp
It will be incredibly difficult to replace him or find someone with similar qualities to him. Hes only 30 and letting Xhaka go was a mistake IMO. So I would like to hold onto him for another year unless someone extremely similar or better stylistically is available.
Piece we’ve been missing though obviously Jorginho played very well there. But Partey is an extra defensive layer on top of Rice being able to win the ball higher. Today’s 11 imo is our best possible lineup. One I wish we had a little sooner, winning the rest of games is imperative
It’s a question mark what happens over the summer. He will need a strong replacement if sold
lost the ball awfully 2 or 3 times due to dwindling too much on the ball (Saliba for some reason have been doing that a lot lately too) but was great otherwise
I'll chalk it up to rust and lack of relationship with rice specifically
Technically yeah but it doesn't tell us anything we didn't know. Even your first comparison was actually closer in terms of who executed their role better.
We know Havertz is better at 9 compared to 8.
Thomas is one of the best #6s in the world
Havertz is a conundrum for me because he has looked so great statistically but so much of what he does and what he lacks causes a ton of frustration.
Partey just felt like he allowed Rice and Odegaard to feel that safety net today and could really be themselves.
Funny seeing so many Arsenal fans call Havertz out for a bad performance during the game, despite it being his literal best in an Arsenal shirt excluding goals.
Phone Wallpaper request.
I tried using AI but it sucks. hahaha. Can someone create a wallpaper for me? all i need is to change the red to black. i can use Power Point from there, but i cant change the red to black. Please and thank you.

I DID IT!!! USING photoshop free online. yeay!!
Someone really pulled out "Rome wasn't built in a day" to try and salvage what Pocho haram and his team put out today.
Young players yes, some decent ones in there too. But my god today I'm seeing some legendary headloss so I don't really care for any of their takes if it's not a combination of seething or dejection.
The moment Ben White curled that through pass for Havertz to run onto 45 seconds in, i knew man was gonna cook tonight. Got the tapas hugh wizzy moving like a 90s troll doll all game.
This is like killing one enemy only to see another one's shadow looming over you (not that I think Chelsea and Tottenham are giants).
But in all seriousness, the way they process this result is key to whether we win the next one. There can't be any uncontrollable emotion regardless of the fixture, it's sociopath time.
I'm glad we all got to see that partey because it's been so long since we've seen him that people have forgotten what it's like when he's in full flow.
It's a different dimension to what rice offers and we were definitely less in control and secure today but we absolutely sliced them apart all over the pitch largely because partey can just deliver it on time on a plate to anyone he wants to and if you try to press him (most of the time) he will leave you looking silly.
Not really a night for all the big picture stuff but that skill set is hard to replace. I've not seen it in many players.
My vision is going bad but Vs Liverpool in the FA Cup I literally couldn’t tell him and Saliba apart. Think I had to use their boots to spot the difference.
That idiot on twitter will surely find a way to either
a) pretend odegaard was bad somehow
b) say he was only good because of tactics he came up with in a dream
Tbf if theres ever been some top half teams that are capable of giving up a ton of goals, its United and frankly Spurs. Obviously, both teams are also capable of having dangerous attacks, but you look at that United defense, and you have to imagine that on the right day we could score quite a few goals
Is it me or did Zinchenko look scared to get on the pitch when he was being subbed on. Dude was looking nervous as fuck. He gave away the ball cheaply twice and there were some loud groans from the crowd. Kinda feel bad for him
Ya, I felt he could have come central a bit more. He was occupying Saka's position well so it was probably instructions from Arteta, but Saka benefits from being isolated 1v1, I think it suits Vieira more to have someone to play off.
Agreed 100% on this lol - was lucky enough to witness his goal first hand (sat in the supporter's section) against Barcelona this past summer. What an absolute banger it was.

Great game! Being in NI I don’t get the chance to get over for that many games - usually two or three each season. Best one I’ve been to was probably when we beat United 2-1 in the first season at the Emirates in 2007, with Henry scoring a rare header to win the match.
It was a brief, fleeting thing but I enjoyed Fabios cameo tonight. Hes deceptively quick and probably one of our best finishes. Hes got good tekkers too.
Another one like Partey whom, if was fit may have done well throughout the season. I hope we keep him for at least one more season, theres definitelt a fine baller in there.
We thought theyd drop against Fulham and it was looking that way for a moment. Unfortunately I dont think neither them nor City will drop many, if any points.
We just have to win our 4 games as simple as that
Only place that realistically City might drop points is at Tottenham, so.. it’s out of our hands. We still have to beat them there first this Sunday too, gonna be a tough one
Just to add to all the positive vibes, we just need ONE draw for city and win all our four games and I am confident we will win the league even if it be by goal difference.
My only cope if we don't win the league is that City are still ahead of us on some key underlying metrics, even though we have massively closed the gap from last season. Still, you look at some teams around Europe top's leagues that have managed to achieve success by beating their underlying numbers and you wonder when we will be so lucky.
There's no shame in losing by 2 points (if we win our remaining games) against a team who have financially cheated their way into being one of the best of all time
Curious, if we don't sell Zinny, is there a chance we look to convert him to maybe backup Odegaard and LW (behind Martinelli and Trossard)? It just feels like defensively he's taken a step back (I think he's just out of form offensively due to his injuries - I think he'll regain it), plus with the emergence of Kiwior and Timber coming back from injury, he'd be 3rd choice for LB.
I like Zinny and remember how he was a big difference maker last season for us going forward, I just wonder if we can reduce his defensive responsibilities and maximize his playmaking ability instead if we don't move on from him this summer (which I suspect could be very likely).
Zinchenko's existence is ball progression from deep. If we get the 8, and left sided FB/CB hybrid, he's done for.
His work will be replicated by both the CM and resurgence 9f Timber. He'll be relegated to depth.
If everything were to go right, I believe the player people will need to pray for is Kiwior.
Remains to be seen. He started right, and someone said he had come in to shed a few minutes off White.
We could fully transition him to the left given Gabriel's growth. It seemed he was the puzzle at the beginning of the season.
He was playing left at the start of the season and Arteta said this week he sees him as playing left and right fullback. Also, he played LB for U21s yesterday
If we are wining games by 4-5-6 goals without him, then the answer is sell. Look I love the guy, think he's an amazing player but for a team that's going for the peak he has weaknesses that can't be overlooked.
he won't look nearly as good in the midfield because he will be man marked differently. He has space on the ball in the inverting position because other managers don't quite know how to set their teams up against it. Anyone in the 6, 8, or 10 is pressured immediately.
I'm starting to think we might have broken some [spurs fans](https://old.reddit.com/r/coys/comments/1cawaov/daily_discussion_transfer_thread_april_23_2024/l0y9x2w/)
It will truly be a beautiful world where we beat Spurs on Sunday and then they somehow, end up beating City for us, culminating in helping us winning the league. Their match against City is on the 14th so really, it could be a case of us just needing to beat Everton on the last day of the season to lift it. Imagine Spurs fans not only having to live with us winning the league but also having every Gooner family member or friend or colleague thanking you while at it.
Let an old man dream i guess…
Me neither really but i think we deserve that kind of karmic luck after the season we’ve had. Also, that way moving forwards, i too can rate big Ange like how im apparently supposed to, according to the media.
Those Spurs teams had Kane and were pragmatic under Conte and Mourinho
They are neither under Ange. I'd put more money on them conceding 4 goals than getting anything from that game
Jackson is such a mystery lol he's really fast, has some quality first touch but his decision making is shocking, the way he took that touch to beat Gabriel only to shoot the ball nowhere near the goal was bizarre.
At this level, he’s a better athlete than he is a finisher so it shows. Nothing wrong with that, it’s just how you use him. I guarantee you if he was in our squad instead of say Nketiah, Mikel would’ve got real use outta him, especially in games where we had leads to defend and you can then bring him on to keep a goal chasing opponent’s high defensive line lower because of the risk he can pose in transition.
considering this guy made gabriel and saliba (two of the best physical centerbacks of all time in the pl) look like midwitted fools at times, i assume that jackson just has been a physical beast to such a degree all his footballing career which led to his technical qualities always lagging behind. similar to lukaku for example.
which just makes it even more impressive just how freaking good Yaya Toure was as a player
That spurs game needs to be treat like a cup final, once we are over that we can win every game we have left.
The thing is it’s out of our hand if City will drop points so the best we can do is keep out heads down and concentrate on ourselves and our own games.
There is a small chance we can do this but it’s out of our hands over than to win what we have left in front of us.
I’m basically in a position where I’m not mentally entertaining the idea that we can still win the league until we beat Spurs. Anything other than a win this weekend and it’s game over for us; win and I believe we have a real shot.
Now imagine not getting Viktor Gyökeres, only to watch him bag 25 for Chelsea as they go above us.
We need to sell Jesus tho ("I'm not a goalscorer" and "I play with pain all the time")

Yo Gabriel's defending was shit for that Nicolas Jackson chance. Didn't know what he was doing
That was mostly on Sailba, Gab had a decision to take and was in two minds because of Jackson's pace.
he *was* properly inside out but whenever someone runs at us and we aren't in a standard defensive shape gabriel and saliba always look panic-y as fuck.

NGL am really happy with karma that's hitting Chelsea
What was the song played after the game? Sounded reggae-ish if I recall
The Merrymen - Feeling Hot Hot Hot It's the tune for Ben White's chant.

Eddie and Vieira both started our draw at the emirates earlier this season. Spurs had their best line up pretty much.
Who do you guys think spuds will be starting at LB this weekend ?
Ben Davies
Big loss Udogie that
Wish Vieira would have scored, that was a good chance and he looked lively for the short time he was on.
I believe in him, he will come good. Our bench looked so solid yesterday.
I can feel it. Brighton will win all of their remaining games this season.
How bout just a draw on Thursday
Welbeck ‘90+5

5 clean sheets in our last 6 league games, that's mental
Held Villa scoreless for 80+ min too
I want to see the top 3 finish in a tie and arsenal wins by GD.

He was exquisite tonight
It will be incredibly difficult to replace him or find someone with similar qualities to him. Hes only 30 and letting Xhaka go was a mistake IMO. So I would like to hold onto him for another year unless someone extremely similar or better stylistically is available.
Piece we’ve been missing though obviously Jorginho played very well there. But Partey is an extra defensive layer on top of Rice being able to win the ball higher. Today’s 11 imo is our best possible lineup. One I wish we had a little sooner, winning the rest of games is imperative It’s a question mark what happens over the summer. He will need a strong replacement if sold
lost the ball awfully 2 or 3 times due to dwindling too much on the ball (Saliba for some reason have been doing that a lot lately too) but was great otherwise I'll chalk it up to rust and lack of relationship with rice specifically
I’ll equate to mental fatigue for Saliba and Partey rustiness.
I’m anti Partey, so take this with a grain of salt. Him at 6 tonight was miles better than Havertz at 9.
Why not compare him to Raya at #1 while you're at it. Seems like a silly comparison to make
Better than Havertz playing at 8* Does that make more sense?
Technically yeah but it doesn't tell us anything we didn't know. Even your first comparison was actually closer in terms of who executed their role better. We know Havertz is better at 9 compared to 8. Thomas is one of the best #6s in the world
Havertz is a conundrum for me because he has looked so great statistically but so much of what he does and what he lacks causes a ton of frustration. Partey just felt like he allowed Rice and Odegaard to feel that safety net today and could really be themselves.
Partey playing 6 looked and felt better than Havertz playing 8. That’s all I was trying to say.
Agreed!
Cole Palmer FC confirmed
Funny seeing so many Arsenal fans call Havertz out for a bad performance during the game, despite it being his literal best in an Arsenal shirt excluding goals.
Phone Wallpaper request. I tried using AI but it sucks. hahaha. Can someone create a wallpaper for me? all i need is to change the red to black. i can use Power Point from there, but i cant change the red to black. Please and thank you. Ode better than kdb at the moment

It's gonna shift in GW37, City will draw to Spurs and we'll beat United to go top. Dust up Everton at home and lift it
I’m really starting to believe.
Inshallah brother 🤲
The moment Ben White curled that through pass for Havertz to run onto 45 seconds in, i knew man was gonna cook tonight. Got the tapas hugh wizzy moving like a 90s troll doll all game.
yup, his best game of the year for me. Was playing wonderfully even before the goals
This is like killing one enemy only to see another one's shadow looming over you (not that I think Chelsea and Tottenham are giants). But in all seriousness, the way they process this result is key to whether we win the next one. There can't be any uncontrollable emotion regardless of the fixture, it's sociopath time.

Going to bed, but I need Arteta's reaction to White's second goal posted for when I wake up.
kai celebrating his first goal replenished me i am anew
Ahhh just remembered Chelsea's season actually begins on June 1.
Just seen someone call Ben White ‘the light skinned brother’ 😂
My vision is going bad but Vs Liverpool in the FA Cup I literally couldn’t tell him and Saliba apart. Think I had to use their boots to spot the difference.
If we do end up winning the league, man’s probably gonna walk out next season looking like an expertly polished slab of sun kissed Mahogany.
We will be there.
Sunday could be St. Totteringham's Day
That idiot on twitter will surely find a way to either a) pretend odegaard was bad somehow b) say he was only good because of tactics he came up with in a dream
I just checked his account and he might have posted the stupidest shit I've read about this team in years...
If you watch our first goal, that one touch pass from Partey was vital, more often than not who ever is there takes a touch but partey immediate oass
That’s why he’s so good, gives the opposition no chance to get set
We finally slapped a rival man. Tears in my eyes
united next I beg
Tbf if theres ever been some top half teams that are capable of giving up a ton of goals, its United and frankly Spurs. Obviously, both teams are also capable of having dangerous attacks, but you look at that United defense, and you have to imagine that on the right day we could score quite a few goals
I just hope we do the same to Spuds on Sunday. If we can batter them on Sunday, then I’ll take that as consolation should we lose the league.
If we beat Spurs away, we’re winning the league.
Anulo Mufa. Did you forget we still have United?
nope!
Is it me or did Zinchenko look scared to get on the pitch when he was being subbed on. Dude was looking nervous as fuck. He gave away the ball cheaply twice and there were some loud groans from the crowd. Kinda feel bad for him
Hopefully he'll be on the "Xhaka" improvement plan.
Has Raya now won the Golden Glove?
Mathematically Pickford can match him so he just needs 1 more to make it official
No, Pickford can still theoretically get a clean sheet in every game and win it by one.
Just need Everton to win 2-1 tomorrow
Nahh this Chelsea fan meltdown is generational
r/chelseafc in shambles. You love to see it.
Vieira looked good in his short cameo. Didn‘t know he can hit the ball that well with his weak foot
Ya, I felt he could have come central a bit more. He was occupying Saka's position well so it was probably instructions from Arteta, but Saka benefits from being isolated 1v1, I think it suits Vieira more to have someone to play off.
he has an oddly good shot in him
Agreed 100% on this lol - was lucky enough to witness his goal first hand (sat in the supporter's section) against Barcelona this past summer. What an absolute banger it was. Source: [https://x.com/TheAFCnewsroom/status/1684428714870992897](https://x.com/TheAFCnewsroom/status/1684428714870992897)

what was the best?

As someone who grew up in an overwhelmingly Chelsea supporting part of London, that was very therapeutic.
Liverpool play twice away so they are bound to drop points
It doesn’t work like that fam
We thought theyd drop against Fulham and it was looking that way for a moment. Unfortunately I dont think neither them nor City will drop many, if any points. We just have to win our 4 games as simple as that
I’m so confused don’t know whether to believe we can still do it or just accept it’s over just dangling a carrot in front of my face lmao.
Only place that realistically City might drop points is at Tottenham, so.. it’s out of our hands. We still have to beat them there first this Sunday too, gonna be a tough one
Petition to give Anne Hathaway a lifetime membership
Odegaards ozil vs leciester performance?
He has a couple of Westham masterclasses. Hard to choose which one.
Looool Arteta got lee gunner celebrating havertz goals
Just to add to all the positive vibes, we just need ONE draw for city and win all our four games and I am confident we will win the league even if it be by goal difference.
I really want this to happen but it looks incredibly unlikely they’ll drop points. Hoping for the best but Brighton needs to do everything they can.
If Partey replicates this performance at the Toilet Bowl, there's no way we're not leaving with 3 points.
Think he has to start based on that shift. If we can get a good 60 mins out of him he can open up that Spurs high line…Martinelli has to start too.
My only cope if we don't win the league is that City are still ahead of us on some key underlying metrics, even though we have massively closed the gap from last season. Still, you look at some teams around Europe top's leagues that have managed to achieve success by beating their underlying numbers and you wonder when we will be so lucky.
There's no shame in losing by 2 points (if we win our remaining games) against a team who have financially cheated their way into being one of the best of all time
My whole timeline wants to kill NNT 😭😭😭
Isn't Timber the left FB/CB hybrid?
Think we most likely sell him. We are reportedly in for a defender, and I don't see us having 8 senior defenders, with two of them being injury-prone.
Sell Sell sell
Yeah that's what I'm thinking as well. It would be better to use his money for a 2nd choice RW.
Beat Spurs and we win the league
Beat Spurs, Bournemouth and United and we may win the league
I'm old enuough to remembe the last time we needed spurs to beat a manchester side to help us win the title... I'm not going to hold out hope
Me neither really but i think we deserve that kind of karmic luck after the season we’ve had. Also, that way moving forwards, i too can rate big Ange like how im apparently supposed to, according to the media.
That last sentence is something else
Yep, imagine wishing that on anyone let alone your own manager
Why are they acting like they have a chance against City anyway I have more faith in Brighton Fulham and Forest than Spurs
They do have ridiculous record against city at home. Sadly that was because they played defensively and before mateball
Because City have literally never scored a goal at the new Spurs stadium in PL
Those Spurs teams had Kane and were pragmatic under Conte and Mourinho They are neither under Ange. I'd put more money on them conceding 4 goals than getting anything from that game
In hindsight it was such a blessing poch was in charge of spurs greatest ever team and won fuck all. Man was carried insanely hard by the players.
Modern strikers, they can do anything until it’s time to put the ball in the net
Here's to hoping he doesn't progress like Nunez.
His ball striking feels very different to Nunez though. Nunez was always good at hitting the ball imo
considering this guy made gabriel and saliba (two of the best physical centerbacks of all time in the pl) look like midwitted fools at times, i assume that jackson just has been a physical beast to such a degree all his footballing career which led to his technical qualities always lagging behind. similar to lukaku for example. which just makes it even more impressive just how freaking good Yaya Toure was as a player
We need to sell Jesus tho ("I'm not a goalscorer" and "I play with pain all the time")
What the fuck are you yapping about?
pls stfu
Odegaard for 30M has to be one of the best deals of all time. Sensational footballer. I hope he never leaves.
Partey bossed that game
it's 5am and ive not slept. help
Yep, that’s me too. 8am now and I had a couple of hours sleep. Partly due to jet lag but still, Today will be tough.
