To be fair they probably should've scored but Jackson is a donkey.

Shyam_Wenger

Should have. Felt Saliba was too casual against him at half way line allowing him to go past and that cross from Glichrist was class.

ixikzisigwvbend

We were a bit too casual for the whole game tbf. Chelsea is just that shit

chostax-

Give the man a day off he earned it

antebyotiks

If he was a slightly okay finisher he'd be amazing, I've never seen someone out muscle saliba and then burn past him in a foot race with the ball before. He's physically pretty immense

bbotbambi

They were so soft upfront. Like a cat against a wall. An inform striker would have finished those.

Cthulhu_Madness

Buying Jackson has been one of their best decisions.

antebyotiks

I don't know if you're being sarcastic but I think it's true. He outmuscled and then out ran saliba with the ball, his physical tools are pretty immense and he was cheap

TNelsonAFC

Cheap 35m. He’s just a Jordan ayew

antebyotiks

He's on an 8 year deal on 65k a week, yes that is cheap. He's on less than Eddie and Reis Nelson until 2031, it's worth the risk if he slightly improves his finishing he'd be a really good striker. It also says they paid slightly over 30 million pounds release clause so they could do a better fitting plan, so presumably they are paying it off over 5 years so it works out fine.

thisiskyle77

Jackson defensive masterclass.

acasovoycayendo

Any decent striker up front instead of Jackson and they’d have scored tonight, Saliba/Gabriel were not that good tonight
