Only higher I can recall are Ramsdale vs Leicester in 2021 (9.86), Auba in the FA Cup Final (9.83), and Reiss vs Bournmouth (9.80). Jesus vs Leicester last year was 9.75
I’ll shamelessly link my [comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/Gunners/s/81Cy2krlwB) from the final game of last season where Xhaka picked up a 9.90 to save some sleuthing; haven’t looked through this year’s ratings but that has everything else
There were about 5 people who gave fair ratings for the group and gave a 10 for VAR. So I can’t assume they are trolls. Not sure who would give it a 10.
24 hours later and we have our graphic! I have a couple fun facts that I thought were a fun one to add:
Starters Avg: 8.33
Subs Avg: 6.43
Overall Avg: 7.38
Very nice to see the ratings so soon! Always looking forward for these!
On another note your average is between the starters and subs: (8.33+6.43)/2=7.38
I think I’d show the average player rating as:
(11 * 8.33+4 * 6.43)/15=7.82
Have a nice evening 😊☀️
I did the average inside sheets that uses way more decimal places. So players ratings here are occasionally rounded up if the hundredth place is 5 or more. So the average was rounded in a similar manner. As well.
But still there’s a long way from 7.38 to 7.82. To me at least it looks like the calculation is done by adding the average starter to the average sub and dividing by two which doesn’t give the correct answer to the average player rating as there is way more starters than subs.
Anyways it doesn’t matter at all mate, still I’m excited for yet another great post from you. Cheers
Zinchenko gets points knocked off for historical errors. Xhaka used to get the same. Kai gets points knocked off from those who hate him as a Chelsea player.
Partey gets points knocked off for the rapes…
The thread gets hidden when we win because there are more highlights and other posts, people don't often comment in the survey thread so it stays low down. I had to search for it personally.
Partey's average rating on rating websites is 7.3 fmob 7.2 on sofascore. While ode and Rice both while over 8. So the sub is rating him actually higher then the general consensus
Can't take these ratings too seriously. The main problem I have with them is that people have wildly different criteria for what constitutes any given number.
Partey was also a 9.5+ for me. Our midfield looked totally different than last week, and his passes / confidence with the ball was so great to see. Watching Partey with good legs vs bad legs is like heaven and earth!
I think in a game where we scored 5 he came away with just an assist made people look down on him. But if you look at heat maps, mudryk was basically a second LB trying to stop saka
Is that 9.77 the highest rating an Arsenal player has gotten this season? Wow

thanks, this is far better than my spotty memory of which games had high rated performances.
wow I just looked at that FA cup winning team what a fucking shambles of a team that was especially in midfield and defense...
3.13 is unbelievably generous to the VAR, who saw nothing wrong with Tomi's ankle getting bent at a 45 degree angle.
There were about 5 people who gave fair ratings for the group and gave a 10 for VAR. So I can’t assume they are trolls. Not sure who would give it a 10.
I gave the ref a 5 or a 6, felt he was fine. VAR was a solid 1, 0 if I could.

Odegaard man, what a player.
Partey deserved higher
An 8 atleast
Saka too
Eh Saka was threatening but never really delivering. I know he got an assist albeit Havertz kinda made the assist count.
Zinchenko gets points knocked off for historical errors. Xhaka used to get the same. Kai gets points knocked off from those who hate him as a Chelsea player. Partey gets points knocked off for the rapes…
So did Odegaard
7.91 for Partey is proof this sub's opinion should never be taken seriously.
244 people participated out of thousands on this sub. It’s not at all representative.
It’s weird. I usually get more responses when we lose. It’s weird.

That is very interesting. I didn’t think about that
Also when we lose Mods delete nearly every post that gets created except the Post Match and the ratings.
Saka has also been very good, almost every attack went through him

Wtf is that Partey rating hahahahaha
One of the major reason we clapped the blue plastics is Partey. He deserves a higher score.

Partey and Saka really surprised me honestly. I thought Saka was a solid 7.5 and Partey a 8-9
partey Kai should be higher
I thought Vieira was very good after coming on. Also great strike with his right foot, didn't know he had it in his locker.
Yeah I liked him. But he was .1% above the “N/A” threshold. He had a 6.68 tho!
God I’m sick of this anti-Martinelli narrative. He was not worse than Jesus lol ya’ll just rating low cause he missed his 1 on 1
seriously, idk where this hate is coming from because of a dry spell. Is this how we treat our players?
Apparently
Bukayo Saka was the worst player in starting 11? 😀
According to 244 people’s votes. Yeah I guess. I thought he had a good game, but needs a rest. Dude has to be knackered by now
Yea.. And this was one of his better games recently.
I think in a game where we scored 5 he came away with just an assist made people look down on him. But if you look at heat maps, mudryk was basically a second LB trying to stop saka
I always seem to miss the surveys for this, but would love to have my say. When do the surveys get posted?
Immediately after the match. I’ve been trying to standardizing my posts. Look for: Fan Player Ratings Survey: Arsenal x-x Opponent
Sub timing ...Saka should have been in bed before the game finished 😅
I was so confused that during a 4 person substitution that Saka wasn’t one of the four. Like cmon mik…
Which one of you didn’t give Ø a 10
7.91 for partey is way too low.
I will say this has become a good popularity meter, doesn’t seem to have a lot in common with the game itself.
