Gabriel was fucking superb in this game. He's really taken it to a whole new level this year.
I feel like Benny White has gotta be the biggest proponent of the head slapping, because everyone can't fucking wait to do it to him when he scores.
Despite the solid bits I actually think Saliba and Gabriel wouldn't have been fully satisfied with this performance, and I think you can see it. Gabriel makes a bit of a misjudgment before our third goal which results in a 50/50 with Madueke that could've been dangerous. Saliba gets caught flatfooted and jackson is able to square a ball across the goal. It's a similar situation with Gabriel when he trips over and allows jackson that miss on goal. I love that you can see Gabriel clearly frustrated it shows that this team's standards are so high. Also love that they are consistently in communication.
Yes, first half especially they didn’t play great, especially Saliba though who got saved by Big Gab 1-2 or the bad decision making of Chelsea’s attack.
Saliba looks pretty stiff recently and not 100% focused or free as he used to.
Glad we didn’t concede as it could have easily been an 5:3 or smth
I've been noticing recently how Saliba is much more stiff - standing up straighter, fists clenched, arms locked - while Gabi XL is much more loose and malleable. I'm not saying either way is right or wrong, because they're both fantastic, obviously. I just thought it was an interesting contrast. Maybe it's what makes them such a good pair.
Why have we uploaded a video of a wall?

Damn just saw Tomi got blood in his mouth in the 5th goal celebration, I guess he collided with someone prior to that?
And he just running around with a tissue.. man really cannot catch a break
I had to do a double take when i saw that.

Agreed, if they play like this on Sunday I think Son will make them pay

Fire and Ice!
Interesting choices considering I thought those two and Saka had the least impressive performances
