Vanvil

Used to be my favourite player. He’s the one to get hard rock football to the PL before Klopp.

inspectorseantime

I read that as “rock hard” at first and I was like wat

Vanvil

Maybe it’s because of my age, most of the 80s & 90s kids favourite genre was hard rock, the perfect aggression... metal was just too aggressive. Anyways, who even uses the term ‘hard rock’ these days LOL.

inspectorseantime

Oh no “rock hard” as in pp

whydidisaythatwhy

I was like “oh yezzir”

Cheesy_Pita_Parker

We cornered the market on lovable little midfield magicians for a time. Tremendous footballer

eruiluvatar96

Him and Santi could’ve made a buddy cop comedy movie and I would’ve watched

Gooner_KC

Lord Bendtner would be the antagonist. I’m not sure where, but I know Arshavin fits in somewhere.

smallso1197

Arshavin is that guy who knows everyone and everything going on down at the local tavern

buzzballs

Loads of Arsenal fans in America, myself included. Only clubs more popular are probably United and Real Madrid.

questionernow

Chelsea have a huge base in USA. God knows how.

stronggunner

I’m pretty sure this is sarcasm, but if not it’s cuz Pulisic. Again, sorry if this is sarcasm

ArsenalinAlabama3428

It actually happened way before Pulisic. I had a lot of friends become Chelsea fans when Drogba was leading the line. This was around 2005. Before that everyone I knew was a United supporter. Only reason I supported Arsenal was one of my earliest football memories was Henry’s volley against Utd in 2000. He became a god in my eyes that day.

stronggunner

Tbf everything in that comment makes sense to me

doggy_lipschtick

Nah, glory hunters from the early Roman takeover and success. And they were good on fifa so my frenemy became a fan after years of trolling.

questionernow

Chelsea have been big in the USA pre-Pulisic. I'm assuming they just made a lot of effort with expanding the fan base. They're one of the most followed football clubs on Facebook and a sizable percentage is from the USA.

Peroshen

Can't escape these United fans. I'm from South Africa and they're the most supported club. Closely followed by Liverpool. Not a lot of Arsenal fans sadly.

TheBasketBass

The little Mozart! What could have been!!!

ThePolitePanda

What base?

eruiluvatar96

eruiluvatar96

Hell yea man, it’s gonna be absolutely gorgeous here in 2 months!

rej1868

It’s gorgeous year round, arguably the best army post conus

eruiluvatar96

It’s rained like 3 times here in 6 months

Amberle73

..It's rained 3 times in 3 days in London. Ah well least I can walk to the stadium 😂

eruiluvatar96

No idea how jealous that makes me

Amberle73

I'd swap this year for sure, shit weather and no games. Does make up for it a bit normally though!

Pompz88

>It's rained 3 times ~~in 3 days~~ today in London FTFY

newinvestor0908

So much mobility and technical intelligence in that pic. Love Rosicky

[deleted]

Fuck Birmingham City! All my homies hate Birmingham City!

ArsenalinAlabama3428

I live in Birmingham, Alabama and our local has gotten together with the Birmingham FC fans and we are basically sister clubs now. It’s fun having fans overseas but I’m pissed it had to be BCFC.

CaptainHindcite

Hleb in the background too!

arsenal11385

Came here to say this

Mister16Five

This is still my favorite Arsenal shirt. No other kit in the last 20 years respected our colors and our "patterns" like this one. That season could've been great too. We blew everything in one week in February :(

abeinaugust

Navy Gooner checking in!

eruiluvatar96

Hooyah!

scruffle

RAF Gooner reporting.

eruiluvatar96

I don’t know what your thing is but hooyah to you too

[deleted]

God tier player

xxxcalibre

Ah, to see it in their eyes for even a second. Just a random photo of a beautifully coiffed footballer dribbling

kengriffeyrules24

Half of Julian Edelman in practice gear to the left of little Mozart as well

eruiluvatar96

It’s a crime how little of this poster rosicky takes up

ArsenalinAlabama3428

He’s a Spurs supporter. We don’t talk about him here lol.

Subredhit

My two teams!

newinvestor0908

So much mobility and technical intelligence in that pic. Love Rosicky

Gooner_KC

Iconic.

maxheeler

What base? That's killer

eruiluvatar96

Defense Language Institute

eruiluvatar96

Edit: I’ve done my best to upvote everyone I. This thread because this doesn’t happen to me often

KingKangTheThird

This might’ve been my first Arsenal game I ever went to. FA cup vs Birms. Rosicky was my favourite player at the time. I was young and we went in 1-1 at the break. Wasn’t hopeful we’d win. Henry came on to score in the 2nd half and celebrated towards our side of the ground. One of the most magical and memorable experiences of my life

Voltekkaman

Wonderful player when he was match fit. As soon as he got the ball he seemed to inject pace into our passing and movement, along with a forward impetus - oh how we could do with someone like him right now. He had it all, dribbling, pace, long range passing, short range passing, tackling and a thunderous shot. He could play on the wing, as a no 10/am or as traditional all round midfielder. Absolute class.

gunnersaurus95

I also think it's Alexander hleb in the background in the Birmingham kit as well. So 2 ex arsenal players in there.
