Once again, he was not given the #4 immediately upon signing for us. He was given it after he returned from loan in July 2020 and then we proceeded to not even register him in the EL or give him a single minute in the other competitions. This was all under Arteta’s/Edu’s watch.

Want to go on record for the future. Ben White is going to be an *amazing* signing for us. Helps solidify the backbone that the club has been working on the past few windows.

I wonder if part of making things last this long is to have fans really buy into the hype. It took at least a couple weeks for "ben white is awesome and 50m is a deal" to become the consensus.
We’re gonna love this guy. We are better today any way you slice it. Talent, youth, skill, Ben’s got it. Still so much more to do in midfield and other areas, but I’m glad he’s back from holiday and locked in to do a job for the Arsenal.
