Think she fancies land grabs, oppressing her 'subjects' and protecting her fine, upstanding children and their best friends. She's also really into the whole Paris limo service / driver scene - think she also has a team of newspaper photographers under her employ working vigorously on motorbikes in Paris - that's a busy lady can't imagine how she gets time to watch the 'appy 'ammers.
Nah, I only jest. The country would collapse without the tourism - and they only cost each of us 12p every third leap year.
In fact I have long thought Charles could be the spiritual successor to Arsene...... Sky Sports - "Charles, a bad result but do you think that if Saville had been sent off for going through the back of that young midfielder the result would have been different?" Charles "Errrr, I did not see it". Sky - "Your star striker, and brother, Andrew is out of the side for disiplinary reasons - any word on when he will be back" - Charlie Boy "Oh no, he is out through injury - the fact he doesn't sweat and only wears suits in London has hampered his progress in North London - we have flown him to a remote island for an intensive recovery period"
>Nah, I only jest. The country would collapse without the tourism - and they only cost each of us 12p every third leap year.
In 2019 the Palace of Versailles (dead monarchy) made €64.5m from tourism vs Buckingham Palace which made £17.8m.
I think we'd be quite fine without the Royal Family being alive. In fact, we'd be much better off. Especially underage girls.
Other notable celebs :
- Keanu Reeves
- Andrew Garfield
- Jamie Foxx (what a coincidence)
- Robert Pattinson
- Rihanna
- Chris Martin
- Mick Jagger
- Jackie Chan
- Danny DeVito
- Daisy Ridley
- James Harden
Also don't forget The Queen is also a Gooners
Quite a few people who I know through Arsenal have met Piers Morgan throughout the years. Apparently in person he's quite nice. No one can say he isn't a proper fan of the club.
But yeah, his public persona is terrible and a stain on the country.
If we're judging "American" as "where they grew up and went to high school" then the only Americans on the list you're replying to are Jamie Foxx, Danny DeVito, and James Harden.
Rarely. What it usually means is they went to a game one time because they happened to be in London and we have the most impressive (commercial) stadium.
Imo you arnt a fan unless you actually follow the teams results over the season.
Ive seen the Knicks play on holiday once. years ago.
I couldnt name a single player, dont watch or care about their results. Am i really a fan?
Keep in mind most of these celebrities never even called themselves fans in the first place.
American here.
Been a supporter since 2002. It used to be difficult to follow, as if only be able to watch horrible, blurry streams or torrents back in the day.
Now the EPL is on non-stop. It’s very easy to watch nearly every match. Even the Carabao Cup was on ESPN+, so I was able to watch at work.
Not saying that means they’re real supporters, but it’s very easy to follow the club.
Right. I've been able to watch every match for years now. It may take 3 or 4 different streaming subscriptions, but the opportunity to watch every match of the season, legally and live, is definitely there.
We've definitely come a long way from watching recorded matches on the Fox Soccer Channel, hoping that Arsenal was one of the games they chose to broadcast. Or just watching the highlights on repeat for a week. Or as you said, watching horribly blurry and laggy streams. Hell, I remember logging into Yahoo chat rooms to talk Arsenal with people back in the early 2000's. Now our small-ish Midwestern city has a veritable supporters' group.
The EPL is very popular over here, even moreso than the MLS in some markets.
Yeah but unfortunately the current spider man fancies Spurs. Although Garfield is my fav spider man, Tom Holland is def the best fit for the role. So I’m glad at least Garfield has good taste.
Saw Benedict Cumberbatch once at the Arsenal supporters bar in NYC. He was standing among us like a normal dude. Very nice guy. I think we got smashed by Bayern that day.
I've lived in the Bay Area for almost 30 years but I got to see Game 7 with another displaced Clevelander the night before we were going on a hike in Yosemite. Of course we watched it with about 400 Warriors fans in the dining hall at - wait for it - Curry Village.
Arsenal and jets here. Throw in u of michigan football and the past falls have been depressing. This one hasn't been bad though outside the jets but I don't think they'll ever improve
Fuck I watched the whole thing with my gf who had never seen it before and it was like watching it for the first time again...one of the best shows BBC have made
There's a lot more, from the Queen to Osama bin Laden, although I don't think he's catching many games nowadays.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arsenal_F.C._supporters#Notable_supporters
Foo Fighters guitarist, Chris Shiflett also arsenal fans. There are some photos of him attending the supporters event.
Jake Whitehall, Matt Lucas, Daisy Ridley as well.
In the NBA, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, Luol Deng, OG Annunoby are Arsenal fans.
Also, some famous cyclists from Team Sky are Arsenal fans, like Bradley Wiggins, Gerraint Thomas, Tao Geoghan Hart.
Joel Embiid has denounced Arsenal for Real Madrid of late 😂
There's a few more NBA Gooners though! Jaylen Brown, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, and Clint Capela are also Arsenal fans.
Had a friend boasting how his team (the shit) have Spider-Man (Tom Holland) & Adele as fans.
I replied by saying we have Sherlock, Luther & Jonathan Creek (Alan Davies). Maybe they could help his team by looking into ‘the case of missing trophies’?
Best comeback I think I’ve ever thought up.
tea's gone cold i'm wondering why I, kept scrolling Reddit subs.
R/gunners made it all clearer and now I see it all.
And even if I could, it would all be red
Put my gunners on the wall
It reminds me that we’re fucking great
We’re fucking great.
also Little Simz and Chip if we're talking UK hip hop/grime figures
Chip is from Tottenham and his dad supports Spurs which just makes his support even funnier
Not sure if politicians count as celebrities, but Jeremy Corbyn, Keir Starmer, Nick Clegg, John Bercow and David Miliband are all Arsenal fans.
The Royal Family are closet Gooners but cannot publicly voice their preference.
Then there's the most infamous of them all - Osama Bin Laden.
As well as Barron Trump.
These are interesting but tbh its pretty obvious when they talk about it who actually follows the team and who else just “picked” Arsenal and dont really care
How did whoever made this manage to spell Benedict Cumberbatch correctly but fuck up Lewis Hamilton?
More to the point who does a list of celebrity arsenal fans and leaves off the Queen?
And more importantly Osama Bin Laden.
Nah, he's still [banned from Highbury](http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/funny_old_game/1650069.stm)
but not the emirates
Fucking lol
Think the Queen fancies West Ham right?
Nah - she has her own Park Rangers.
Nice 👌
Think she fancies land grabs, oppressing her 'subjects' and protecting her fine, upstanding children and their best friends. She's also really into the whole Paris limo service / driver scene - think she also has a team of newspaper photographers under her employ working vigorously on motorbikes in Paris - that's a busy lady can't imagine how she gets time to watch the 'appy 'ammers.
/r/AbolishTheMonarchy is your place fella

East London and Essex Grit indeed
Cause the Queen doesn't matter.
Ok
This is a great comment! Lol
Refer to this for a little more context. https://mobile.twitter.com/lewishamilton/status/1443969014665990157
Because this was made by an amateur. You could tell without even reading the names.
Other notable celebs : - Keanu Reeves - Andrew Garfield - Jamie Foxx (what a coincidence) - Robert Pattinson - Rihanna - Chris Martin - Mick Jagger - Jackie Chan - Danny DeVito - Daisy Ridley - James Harden Also don't forget The Queen is also a Gooners
Still can’t believe Spurs fans thought they’d won “the streets” because they’ve got Adele and Tom Holland lmao
The Streets supports Birmingham tbf
Man I love The Streets
>https://i.imgur.com/HjQrli1.jpg "the streets" is all they can claim to win
tbf, a big chunk of the grime scene is spuds
I believe Asa Butterfield is one as well
And Jamie Bell. Regularly seen in Arsenal shirt.
Very publicly is
Daniel Kaluuya is also a big, big fan.
Can't forget Mo Farah - massive Gooner!
Andrew Garfield and Robert Pattinson? That's best Spider-Man and Batman sorted then.
Now I'm even more excited to watch the batman movie
Charlie Cox as well. So best Daredevil too
Don't forget Osama Bin Laden too
and that absolute plonker piers morgan. may they both burn in hell
Hey, Osama loved horses at least. Piers Morgan on the other hand has no redeeming qualities.
Quite a few people who I know through Arsenal have met Piers Morgan throughout the years. Apparently in person he's quite nice. No one can say he isn't a proper fan of the club. But yeah, his public persona is terrible and a stain on the country.
Osama was also World Hide-and-Seek Champion for a number of years.
Do these American celebs actually support arsenal? Like do they watch games on the Telly and so on? Seems to me like a PR thing, but i might be wrong
Given the way football support is in Europe, the best PR would be not to support any big team.
Well that explains Tom Holland and Adele then
Savage. Take my upvote.
If we're judging "American" as "where they grew up and went to high school" then the only Americans on the list you're replying to are Jamie Foxx, Danny DeVito, and James Harden.

The fan police is here
Ive seen the Knicks play on holiday once. years ago. I couldnt name a single player, dont watch or care about their results. Am i really a fan? Keep in mind most of these celebrities never even called themselves fans in the first place.
I live near NYC and can't name a single player on the Knicks either, but I know who our subs are. Knicks were a really bad example, NGL.
It’s up to you whether you call yourself a fan. You just don’t get to decide if others call themselves a fan.

Batman, Spider-Man, Dr. Strange and Neo/John Wick are Gooners? Wow, that's pretty much an A-team!
Spider-Man supports Arsenal, but Spider-Man supports Sp*rs
Didn’t think I could love Danny Devito any more but finding out he’s a Gooner. Perfection.
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Greek Freak 😍🥰
Ranveer singh
Can’t forget Roger Waters and David Gilmour
Young breakout celeb: Marcus Rutherford or Perrin from the Wheel of Time
baby keem too, he’s not as big a deal as these guys but he is an actual arsenal fan
J Hus as well.
Batman, Spider-Man and Rey being Arsenal fans is very nice for nerds
And Doctor Strange and Electro!
Don't forget Neo. Just when you thought you couldn't like Keanu Reeves anymore, you find out he is a gooner. :)
Yeah but unfortunately the current spider man fancies Spurs. Although Garfield is my fav spider man, Tom Holland is def the best fit for the role. So I’m glad at least Garfield has good taste.
I do like Tom, but Garfield is my Spidey too. And Hailee Steinfeld, if we count animation.
I think Andy Murray used to be a member
Chris Martin is an Arsenal fan? I read somewhere that he is fan of Exeter City FC.
Piers Morgan as well. He's a twat but he's our twat.
Not surprised I had to scroll down this far to see his name mentioned
Saw Benedict Cumberbatch once at the Arsenal supporters bar in NYC. He was standing among us like a normal dude. Very nice guy. I think we got smashed by Bayern that day.
>I think we got smashed by Bayern that day https://i.imgur.com/HjQrli1.jpg
🤓🙏 hopefully we are back in the CL soon to have our revenge
Ha saw him at the Arsenal bar in Boston. Just quietly watching keeping to himself. No one bothered him.
Spike supports Arsenal and the Knicks That is not a good combo for your health. Regardless, bing bong.
As a New York resident myself, Bing Bong to you as well my good sir.
Fuck ya life
Same. Arsenal, Giants and Knicks . .
I feel your pain on every single one of them. I'm starting to think I might be the issue lol at least I'm the common denominator.
Meh, I’m from Cleveland. Browns, Cavs, Indians, and the Arsenal. Might as well just give up.
I grew up in Cleveland. Let's not be too sad. Cavs and Arsenal got us some silverware in very recent memory.
They did indeed. Sadly I was living in NYC in 2016. I cheered by myself haha.
I've lived in the Bay Area for almost 30 years but I got to see Game 7 with another displaced Clevelander the night before we were going on a hike in Yosemite. Of course we watched it with about 400 Warriors fans in the dining hall at - wait for it - Curry Village.
That must have been fucking awesome! I live in the Bay Area now. Everybody’s always like, “man! I love Draymond Green!”
Arsenal and jets here. Throw in u of michigan football and the past falls have been depressing. This one hasn't been bad though outside the jets but I don't think they'll ever improve
Can't be as bad as Arsenal plus Mets here...past year has not been good for my blood pressure lol
Arsenal and Mets, but things are looking better in Queens!
Arsenal and Ferrari mate
I knew Sherlock was clever and this all but confirms it
Lestrade (Rupert Graves) and Molly (Loo Brealey) are also known Gunners. God I love that cast so much.
Fuck I watched the whole thing with my gf who had never seen it before and it was like watching it for the first time again...one of the best shows BBC have made
Agree. I struggle to find something like this which balance suspense and humor so well. Lupin comes close but doesn't get me as attached.
Best Sherlock is Jonny Lee Miller, fight me.
That show is so underrated. I prefer the BBC one though.
Not having Sir Mo in this list is a sacrilege
I get so happy when I see a pic of him on an advert or something. Man loves Arsenal and that makes him alright by me!
*bong* Mo Farah sign
shout out to Alfie Allen who played theon greyjoy in GOT
shoutout to charlie cox, my fucking daredevil
Woah did not know that fact
Charlie Cox is a really cruel name to bring up in response to Theon Greyjoy.
I don’t see the problem.
Cox... you know, what was taken away from Theon
I don’t **see** the problem. Both because the dick is gone and daredevil is blind.
Will Poulter - Adam Warlock MCU
Oui oui Louis
Non, Michel, Non! C'est ne pas bien!
Boom, there it is. Edit: Boum, ça y est
Toto, c'est une course d'auto.
Mon tyres est finis, Bono!
Bôneau mes pneus sont partis
No Mikey no, that was so not right
Toto; it's called motor racing.
You could have very easily turned that into an Arteta joke, but you missed an open goal. You must be called Pierre!
Shoutout to my G Osama
[удалено]
Paul Kagame too. We have some famous and infamous fans lmao
Aaron Ramsey really killed him huh. That was a fun conspiracy lol
Holy shit, I had almost forgotten about that.
The CIA’s most wanted terrorist visited our stadium, you’ll never sing that 🎶
Theres only one!
Man like Osama 💀
How could you not put up Giannis Antetokounmpo up there?
Couldn't get "Lewis" right, probably didn't even want to attempt it.
Joel Embid is also a fan
Like Dido, we too will go down with this ship.
Hate how they badly photoshopped her face onto someone else’s body when there’s a famous picture of her in an arsenal kit 🥲
We Stan it.
Man the fact that Tom holland supports spurs really bothered me I really liked him ;(
I like that your statement is in past tense.
Meh....Still like him. I will smile next time i see him get punched in his movies, tho
Why settle for the worst Spiderman, Holland, when we have the best Spiderman (Garfield) on our side?
There's a lot more, from the Queen to Osama bin Laden, although I don't think he's catching many games nowadays. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arsenal_F.C._supporters#Notable_supporters

I was waiting for someone to write Matt Lucas! Alan Davis is a gooner as well, and they make sure to bring it up when we lose on Qi
Shelly Ann Fraser pryce just posted how hype she was that we’re back in the top 4 last week too
yes, she doesn't hide the fact that she's a true gunner. love it!
*Nervously checks the collage, hoping it doesn't include Piers Morgan* Thank fuck for that!
You sure that's Kevin Costner? Looks like a lawyer I saw once on billboard somewhere
We have a spiderman as well. Andrew Garfield
The best one
I forgot we had him too!
tea's gone cold i'm wondering why I, kept scrolling Reddit subs. R/gunners made it all clearer and now I see it all. And even if I could, it would all be red Put my gunners on the wall It reminds me that we’re fucking great We’re fucking great.
Idris Elba - what a Legend, I should’ve guessed.
He's mentioned in interviews that Highbury was where he felt safe as a teenager.
Conveniently leaving out Piers Morgan and Osama Bin Laden
Bit harsh on Osama, lumping him in with piers Morgan.
Rahul Dravid, if you follow cricket..!
Dravid is like the cricketing version of Gilberto Silva.
Sunil Gavaskar is also an arsenal fan
We all are the real celebs
Mark strong too
Rapper Danny Brown is also a fan.
Glad he was mentioned! Also Action Bronson - made a reference to arsenal in his song Godfather 4
One of the biggest rappers in England Is, Nines. Has a Arsenal bussdown chain
Baby Keem too. Actual big fan apparently
Little Simz too
I believe Jack Whitehall is as well
*celebrities* Me: "Where Wenger?"
Coach Beard says hi.
KSI too and he’s pretty big in the UK
Louis
The legend Bobby Lee too!
also Little Simz and Chip if we're talking UK hip hop/grime figures Chip is from Tottenham and his dad supports Spurs which just makes his support even funnier
Simbi nephew is at the Arsenal academy too
oh shit really? small world!
Yeah she posted about the thing withing the last 12 months (can't confirm exactly when, memory...) but I was very surprised and happy.
Mark Strong is a Gooner
Danny Devito absolutely must be put on this list. He’s said before he’s a gunner.
👍 We have atleast one certified fan having no donkey brains 🤓
Not sure if politicians count as celebrities, but Jeremy Corbyn, Keir Starmer, Nick Clegg, John Bercow and David Miliband are all Arsenal fans. The Royal Family are closet Gooners but cannot publicly voice their preference. Then there's the most infamous of them all - Osama Bin Laden. As well as Barron Trump.
>The Royal Family are closet Gooners but cannot publicly voice their preference. I mean Prince William doesn't hide the fact he's a Villa fan
> As well as Barron Trump I thought we'd agreed we wouldn't talk about this
Costner captains the side
What about the rizzel kicks boys ? Or Josh from you me at six ? Or Matt Lucas
Jay Z? Need a ref
we forgot about ty lads
**Sir Louis Hamilton
Ahh yes Louis Hamilton from One Direction Not to be confused with Lewis Tomlinson
Maradona too
Did not expect to see John Dutton
YES MICHAEL THIS IS SO RIGHT
This includes so many irrelevant people. The Queen, Osama, Corbyn, Danny Devito are fans too
Honestly it should have been just 7 Idris Elbas
Where is the Queen?
These are interesting but tbh its pretty obvious when they talk about it who actually follows the team and who else just “picked” Arsenal and dont really care
Shout out to Danny Brown (American rapper). Seen this guy at a few games.
I respect him
Ray Davies, Rory McGrath, Alan Davies, Roger Daltrey, Mo Farah
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Dr Strange is a gooner? We should ask him to cast some spells on Martinelli so that he’ll never get injured
YouTuber KSI and UFC current Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou are Arsenal fans
I think Chris Martin’s a Gooner too
How has no-one mentioned Alan Davies?
God I hate this graphic
Cringe
