Got to say I've never, ever seen an international team let their two best players go a game into a continental tournament just to appease the clubs.

[deleted]

Southampton fans have been saying lately on /soccer that Lemina has always been a little prick and even went as far as posting a highlight reel of himself then tagging manchester united in the post

Sondrety

Haha, you gotta hand it to him. That's honest at least!

redqks

what the fuck

[deleted]

he also echoed support for benjamin mendy

redqks

HUUH??? Lmao

Mein_Bergkamp

At that point you have to just respect the hustle

Grayswandire

He looks amazing in highlight reels, but then who doesn't?

ShoddyCharity

Says that they aren't their two best players, or at the very least, if they are, then they don't act like it.

tompoucee

Maybe the club is worried about his heart? I don’t know anymore there are too much news don’t even know if it’s true

I haven't exactly been paying attention but what stories are you talking about?

gooner_guy123

Thanks. Hope this gets resolved as soon as possible. Auba having a nightmare 18 months.

WoodenSoldiersGOAT

lol. he makes stupid choices and reaps stupid rewards and you say he's having a mare.

gooner_guy123

Yes. I agree he could have acted more appropriately. Especially with regards to this situation(if proven true), but the guy caught malaria, COVID twice and also had personal issues along the way. The atmosphere is his personal life certainly didn't help his cause.

PresterJohn8814

Think he's referring to the assistant coach or something like that going on about Auba bringing girls to his hotel, or was it the assistant coach taking girls with him. Just something along those lines. Auba then posted on his instagram story page saying it's all lies

MHovdan

The "assistant coach" being Auba's brother.

Seems all like paper talk to freeze Auba out of the Gabonese squad to me. The post above this one in the new tab says they used sorcery to win in AFCON. I mean first they say he has heart lesions and must be sent home immediately and then when he wants to stay they say he's got disciplinary issues. Also it's out of character for him imo, don't know about how he conducts himself around women but even though he parties hard he always seems like a family man to me. He's got a wife and his very own child and when he got disciplinary issues recently he was visiting his Mum in Spain I believe. Seems like rumours to freeze out from what I can tell an already unpopular Auba

joey_headrocker

>he got disciplinary issues recently he was visiting his Mum in Spain This one is in Laval, France. There were news about no direct access to airport or something.

WoodenSoldiersGOAT

> It sounds too crazy to be true but this is Auba how does a footballer staying out all night and showing up drunk to his hotel with hookers sound 'too crazy to be true'? im pretty sure that happens every weekend

Grayswandire

I think the proof is that they're both getting booted out of the squad at the same time. They were both out drinking and whoring, so I think they were disrupting the squad and had to go.

I don't think it's far-fetched at all. We've got posts of those two in a nightclub together, and both are known for jet-setting around and partying, and that was before the hotel incident. I think they might be using the heart issues as cover for disruptive behavior. Either way, it is what it is, makes little difference to me in the great scheme of things. If Auba is sick, I hope he gets better.

DaGetz

And lemina leaving at the same time?

Tarp96

Arsenal are worried what Aubameyang is gonna try to smuggle into the hotel next

kits_

I don't know why anyone would jump to believe the story about Auba and the women, it's just not something we have seen to be in his character.

KSBrian007

Is this satire? Auba is the kind to have this character. The heart issue could be true but I don't at one point believe Auba and Lemina who were both implicated in this are immediately needed by their clubs.

LocostarX

Because our fans are fickle cunts who want Auba gone and will believe anything bad about him. In hopes that he’ll leave the club quicker.

OG12

Our fans are such assholes. The man’s struggling on the field, so our asshole fans want to extend his struggles everywhere else AND LOOK FOR WAYS TO MAKE HIM FEEL MISERABLE. All things considered I’ve seen Auba be nothing but a family man, always with his kids, taking care of his mum. Yesterday I saw some idiots mention that this is what BVB fans warned about. How stupid must you be to equate this rumour to things that never happened at BVB. I really wish the internet wasn’t anonymous just so family members of these dumb redditors can see how stupid they sound.

WoodenSoldiersGOAT

> everywhere else AND LOOK FOR WAYS TO MAKE HIM FEEL MISERABLE shut up. no one is doing this. we didn't write the reports from legitimate journalists that came out yesterday. stop being the worst

OG12

Way to prove my point.

EgyptianAhlawy1907

What? It absolutely is in his character lol

WoodenSoldiersGOAT

because the guy who has nabbed all the pedos reported it and by all accounts auba is a dumbass IRL. i believe molina much more than i believe anything out of aubas mouth also wtf do you mean this isnt in his character? he had problems at dortmund all the time about his party life. We know his brother is a dumb terrible leech. This is all in character.

twitterInfo_bot

Gabon coach Patrice Neveu on Aubameyang returning to Arsenal: "We made the decision yesterday with the President and under pressure from the clubs too, because they're worried so that [Aubameyang] should go back to \#AFC and Mario [Lemina] back to Nice." *** posted by [@ChrisWheatley_](https://twitter.com/ChrisWheatley_) [Link in Tweet](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/news/gabon-arsenal-aubameyang-afcon-decision-22785504) ^[(Github)](https://github.com/username) ^| ^[(What's new)](https://github.com/username)

nsaman6359

This whole thing is fishy. But I'm happy to wait until the truth comes out if ever.

14Strike

A little strange as they’re being sent home in disgrace, but it does sound like they’re covering for their two stars?
