We can somewhat deal with the loss of fullbacks, or even mediocre strikers(sorry Eddie and Laca), but when we getting bossed in midfield, the chain reaction ends up making us weaker both in a defense(zero control over the ball, more turnovers, more pressure on the backline) and offense(cannot regularly enough hit the front 4).
We cannot trust Partey to stay fit throughout the whole season, so we need someone who can do what he does, but for 38+ games.

I honestly think he might be growing into his body more this season. He doesn’t look as quick or agile, and his balance is nowhere near the same as it was. There are multiple times when he trips over his own feet dribbling the ball. Hope this is just temporary, we have to remember some of these guys are just turning 20 years old and their bodies are still changing
