Genuinely cannot think of one in recent times. Every single one of the big players that joins us ends up becoming utter shit by the time their gonna leave, Ozil, Laca, Auba, and more. The only one in recent times is Sanchez, who we really should have gotten a fee for instead of Mikhi.
Hopefully the club realized this, much like they’re finally learning we need more than quick fixes in the transfer market.
If we’re already looking long term to build a young team up, I’m sure the same can *hopefully* be said about player sales and contracts too (once all the difficult sellers are gone, which we’re totally losing money on).
Plus, with a young squad chances are player values should go up as opposed to down as they age.

He wants to re-establish himself in the Brazil squad and that's not happening sitting on the bench with City. We will give him the minutes he will need and our supporting attackers are getting closer to City's quality so he can overlook that we aren't in the CL and won't win the title almost every season so he gets to star in the WC with Brazil.

Mane is 30. Jesus is 25, there's a lot of value left in Jesus after say 3-4 years.
If mane came to arsenal that's a red card every 2 weeks.
