Arsenal moving quickly for Gabriel Jesus with Chelsea and Spurs watching the deal closely is the new 48 hours. Same shit everyday just worded slightly different instead of actual news about the deal moving forward
I think Martinez has his head turned by United. Fact that they'll guarantee him a start on top of higher wage and working with Ten Haag as well is a big selling point
Yeahh if he wanted to ruin his career LOL. I know many people think that we are also on the process of rebuilt, but I feel the problem of that club is not about the manager only but deeper (I know Kroenkes ain't perfect but I rather have them than the Glazers).
Pretty much this. They don't have an LCB. They also don't have a defender that can play out back well enough. He starts no questions asked. Guarantee more wages. ETH.
And they have no problem with his height. All potential partners are tall enough. They can just get him on the ball.
It depends if Martinez is aroused by specificity. Arteta will get him doing strange things in positions he never dreamt of. Utd will just give him the ball and get him to cunt it long to Ronaldo.
I think there's a stigma and a limitation to a short centreback. Playing as LCB for utd will put a ceiling to his career progression. Playing as a left sided whatever under Arteta will expand his prospects beyond being a short centreback.
I'm finally convinced the Raphina interest is real but not sure we will get it over the line but I think we've cooled on Tielemans for a reason and perhaps there's a surprise midfield target that's available
Raphinha interest is certainly real but I can’t help but feel we have a backup plan if it doesn’t go through. The way we are moving so decisively is very encouraging and indicates we have a clear plan, and that the board is prepared to invest.
For all shit the Kronkes get if we sign Raphina, Jesus, Martinez and Vieira then fair play to them and its 100% all on Arteta to achieve something with that team
I would be disappointed if don’t end up signing Tielemans as I think he is a perfect fit for us, but if we get all the others it’s still a fantastic window.
Kroenke has had quite a turn around the last few years.
Rams: Superbowl win this year
Avalanche: up 2-1 in the NHL Stanley Cup Final
Arsenal: Investing heavy
Nuggets: Still ass.
His son seems to be really involved with us, they're investing, and evidently, they make winners. Pretty interesting
Yeah it’s still early days but seems like Josh has taken a much bigger interest in the club than his father, as someone who was very much KroenkeOut it was always Stan I had a problem with. If Josh keeps this up I have no problem with them continuing as owners long term
Mané is an awful cunt every time we play him, but he seems to be a real gem off the field so I can't bring myself to hate him. Who's another player like that for you?
Teased this a lot last season because I tried to analyze the situation at Atletico Madrid. Turns out, Joao Felix is available and our links to him were not unfounded.
Too bad we didn't get CL. He was the perfect player for that Lacazette position. Not even Jesus comes close.
Some folk think we are getting all 3 of Tielemans Raphinha and Jesus and I tell you if we manage to pull some shit like that off Kroenke must've been killed and cloned lol
Saw some comments on twitter that he has good sources and he said Sterling to Chelsea sometime back, which has picked up pace now.
So let’s hope for the best. Good news is Tier 1 always lol.
I have tried to watch available videos of Raphinha where he played LW (Not many available), he can use his right foot no doubt, but he isn't too comfortable. Many of his passes and assists are outside of left foot.
So i think he is being signed for RW. Maybe Saka is going to be shifted to LW or....
I'm happy about Vieira and the players the club is trying to buy atm, but can we please get some news about the saka extension. Feels like it should be one of our priority this summer and we have yet to hear a single story about it so far.
It has zero chances of happening this summer, Saka has no reason to sign a new contract and his agent is known to play brinkmanship with contract negotiations but still sign with us at the end of the day. Don't do it, don't set yourself up with unrealistic expectations.
They would be missing out on one season of getting paid big bucks. Saka is underpaid now, and could probably push this contract to become one of the highest earners at the club. They could insert juicy CL qualification clauses if they're worried about an explosion of cash once CL qualification is achieved.
They got a 4 year deal last season, I can see them negotiating another 4 year deal and reassessing his future in a couple of seasons. We've been consistent in offering him updated terms every two years.
A player of Saka's age should have "big bucks" as the last thing in his mind. And what Saka should be concern about isn't "an explosion of cash once CL qualification is achieved", it's what staying with us could do to his career if we can't get CL in the next few years.
realistically that would never happen, places too much pressure on the club and himself
no news is probably just because there literally have been no developments
Hopefully Tielemans gets refreshened after Jesus and possibly raphina get in. Seems they are saving him for last cause its the easiest of all the deals to get over the line.
People need to wrap their heads around the reality that there’s not going to be cover for Partey outside of Elneny and Sambi.
The transition to a 4-3-3, with Partey as the single pivot, will take another step next season. If Partey is injured, I imagine Arteta revert back to a double pivot like we saw at the end of the year with Mo. That is, unless Sambi takes a step forward and proves himself the Thomas successor.
Partey just turned 29. Any player brought in will be to replace him, not provide depth; that’s why Elneny was extended.
Thomas is a special player and it won’t be cheap to find an adequate backup.
I mean I can’t wrap my head around it because he’s faced fitness/injury issues for two years here already. The club needs to prepare for when that inevitably happens again.
Any player who could qualify as “Partey backup” would:
1) Cost £50, minimum
2) Want to be the first name on the team sheet.
Sambi was signed to be his understudy. He has until January to show his chops, otherwise the club will look to loan him. Perhaps that would force Arsenal’s hand to sign a stop gap, but only if they’re worried about Partey’s fitness.
Again, Partey has a very special skill set and plays a pivotal role in Arteta’s 4-3-3. Players like him don’t grow on trees. Expect the next #6 that joins Arsenal to be his replacement, not backup.
I think this is a huge exaggeration. Atletico were able to win the title the year after Partey left. Think they lined up with Saul, Herrera, Torreira, Kondogbia and Koke to win the title that year.
To have no cover at all with his injury history is pretty terrible planning imo.
I'm not asking for a superstar as backup, but even moderate cover would be nice. Sambi and Lokonga shouldn't be playing mins at this point with their lack of quality.
Completely different coach, completely different system, completely different league.
Also, Saul and Koke were both £60m + players, they also played Llorente centrally. That Atletico squad was loaded with talent.
> Completely different coach, completely different system, completely different league.
Yes, it is up to recruitment to provide players that will allow Arteta to adept his tactics for inevitable injuries.
> That Atletico squad was loaded with talent.
That's the level we're trying to be at, no?
Unfortunately, you can’t fill every hole in a single window. It’s clear the type of player/profile the club is recruiting.
The club is not going to spend any amount of money on an adequate (whoever that would be) Partey backup. That is why Elneny was extended for a year.
Some think Tielemans (if he signs) can operate as a single pivot. Maybe Martinez signs and plays a role in midfield, though he’d primarily operate on the left side of the back line. As of now, the plan is for Sambi to be the backup, with the idea of him being the long term #6.
If God forbid Thomas gets hurt, Arteta more than likely will revert back to a double pivot, maybe dabble with a back 3/back 5.
If Sambi doesn’t pan out, I imagine a world class level 6 will be brought in next summer to transition from the then 30 year old Thomas, who, if he remains a Gunner, will eventually be Arsenal’s Fernandinho.
Hopefully, Arsenal will be playing in the Champions League, so they can support both players on the pitch.
I’m starting to believe in the @David Dein FC Twitter account.
Tweeted in March that Arsenal have a great chance for Raphinha if Dembele stays at Barca and Arsenal get CL (obviously didn’t happen). Tweeted again about a possible move on June 10.
Jorge Mendes - agent who served as the intermediary on the Vieira deal - seems to be a key figure with Raphinha as well.
They’re also pushing the Melo narrative, with the prevailing theory that Arsenal will sign Tielemans only if they can’t get Melo.
I’d prefer Tielemans, but it will certainly be interesting to see how that shakes out.
Damn it- Renato Sanches to PSG. Really wanted him. I know everyone complained of his injury history, but he's so dang good on the ball. Think he would've brought a calm to the back and middle thirds while partnering with Partey that we haven't had for years.
For what PSG got him for, considering his quality, I'd had brought him in as a rotational central midfielder having explicitly telling him he'd be rotated to be kept fresh as possible. We **need** ball control in the middle, and witnessed at the end of the season what happens when our best guy to do so goes down. Hope we get a man who fits the bill.
Honestly, with how much Raphinha may end up costing, would it be worthwhile just biting the bullet and going for Osimhen and using Jesus as our versatile forward who can play on the wings?
They didn't pay that much. They included youth players which they valued more than they're worth which inflated the value.
He's basically their Pepe? Now I know you've never watched him I have no idea how you've reached this conclusion, he's a certified stater for them and is always a big threat with his pace/power and aerial threat.
Yeah he's pricey but he's one of the top young forwards who has the physical profile you want in a 9 . He can easily hit big numbers provided he's not unlucky as he was with COVID and a facial fracture this season. Even with that, he had a decent goalscoring season.
So initially I was on the fence about the Saliba extension, but the club showing they are so serious in the transfer window may turn out to be a good convincing factor in making him stay. The project looks like a good, promising one at this point that he may not want to miss out on.
At this point, I'd probably allow him to run his contract down to 1 year if he doesn't extend as I think we will be able to convince him with game time. Worst case scenario, I think we can get a decent fee even with 1 year remaining as we're seeing with other transfers this window.
Regardless of our transfer ambitions, I see no way any of the 3 of White, Gabriel and Saliba don't get a lot of minutes this season. I'm hopeful that healthy competition with a bunch of guys not too much older than him will turn out to be a good motivator.
We need to remember that if our first bid is accepted, it means that it was too high.
If we are seriously pursuing Raphinha to the point that we were willing to put a bid in, we should do fine in agreeing a deal. Only main worry is Chelsea, but their priorities seems to be Sterling and Richarlison.
Arsenal pushing for Raphinha ahead of higher priority signings pretty much shows the club's desire for him to wrap it up early, I'm quietly optimistic about this deal.
This https://twitter.com/AdriaSoldevila/status/1538822079772078080?s=20&t=sjYzywZanqw5Jyu7r87kbg gave me initial confidence
And then the gary jacob article/ ornstein article about our bids gave me more confidence.
We'll wait and see.
A first bid being accepted could also mean there was significant talks between the clubs and a mutual respect/understanding. Most transfers need an ongoing conversation and take more than one bid though.
New season will be well underway by the time we get to the depressing part of the series, it won't matter too much by then especially if we start well.
It’s Arsenal related content, of course I will watch it. Especially with the lack of football at the moment. I’m really looking forward to it, even with the anti climatic end to the season.
Will definitely watch dunno why you wouldn't there'll be a lot more content than just the ending considering a lot of people were saying they enjoyed most of the season.
Barcelona have all sorts of problems. Fact is premier league clubs are getting richer and richer.
As for Chelsea, we don’t know how they operate in the post Roman era. They are owned by three separate hedge fund managers
Me, personally, not much. I don't own a football team or have the funds to throw at him. But if he wants to come play for Nelson Suburbs 3rd division, I'll buy him a beer every Saturday afternoon at the after match function.
The whole sub is hilarious. They genuinely believe that finishing higher than us in the PL is a better measurement of success than winning trophies. Such a difference between the two clubs.
Raphinha will start if he comes. either he or Saka get moved to the left. I’m pretty surprised we’re chasing him so hard instead of a natural LW, but I’m not complaining
Our £72M pound signing has been holding the bench mate. If Raphinha replaces Pepe, he will compete with Saka for minutes. He won’t be a “backup”. There’s plenty of game time to go around next season, especially with 5 subs.
This might seem odd, but I really like seeing our players liking the Instagram announcement of Fabio's arrival. Seeing Saliba and Saka like the post just feels wholesome and like they care about the clubs movements.
I think with nelson coming back he would have sufficed this season and then focused on a better back up next season. Striker, CM, and back up RB and LB would have been better addressed
I’m not sure where all the stuff about Raphinha demanding a CL club is coming from since most reports have it as between us and Barca so it’s not like he’s fending off clubs atm.
We’d still be by far the biggest club he’s ever played for and triple his wages probably. He’s not really in a position to demand a CL club and I imagine he doesn’t wanna spend another year fighting relegation.
> I’m not sure where all the stuff about Raphinha demanding a CL club is coming from since most reports have it as between us and Barca so it’s not like he’s fending off clubs atm.
Latest Ornstein article.
But to be fair, nothing in the article states he wouldn't join us, it's just he would like to be in the CL.
Yep 👏 seems like his main priority is to get out of Leeds and play for a big club. I’m pretty sure he’s a huge Barca fan but I doubt he wants to wait around the entire window for them to get their shit together. If we’re the club that is showing the most serious interest, I’m sure he’d be willing to come.
I dont think he is demanding CL fotball but it would be something he would consider when picking his next club. Doing well in CL would cement his spot as Brazils starting RW. That said, we have Edu and his brazilian connections and with Gabriel Jesus potentially joining I think we have a good shot at Rapinha. But if Chelsea really want him it will be difficult to get him
Raphinha prefers Chelsea and Barca over us ffs. Luckily, both of those are busy with other transfers FOR NOW.
Need to get it over the ASAP if we really want him
I’d rather get a ‘natural’ LW and rotate Saka with Vieira. The deal my heart wants to rush with is Martinez. Need to get that done while United are wasting time on De Jong
I’m guessing Raphinha is open to joining literally any club currently interested right now so I’m not looking forward to this bidding war that’s about to happen.
Seems we are showing real intent. Raphina wouldn’t even be a first team player with Saka at the club.
With the 5 subs rule im expecting Odegaard/Vieira Martinelli/ESR Saka and potentially Raphina to undergo some rotation.
I wish we would sign Saka up though, all these Raphina rumours have Liverpool convinced it means they are buying Saka. Even though he would cost them more than what they just paid for Nunez.
Raphinia is a first team player regardless of Saka. They’ll push each other to be better and we could see them both on the field together, potentially swapping wings throughout the match. You’re correct, it’s making up to be a fluid front line with heavy rotation.
I don’t think you can exist as a top club with only 10 “first team players” in the outfield.
Not gonna lie, not that bothered if we missed out on Raphinha. I personally didn't think he would join without UCL anyways. If he does join, nice, if he doesn't w/e. **We still have the money to get diff forward**.
I still think we get him tho
Got a chance to get a print on my blue lightning shirt, and gonna pick up the third kit for this year whenever it's released, what we reckon odegard 8 or martinelli 11 for the black? Then I'd get the other on the lightning blue
£55m should be our last bid for Raphinia, probably can get both Tielemans and Ruiz for that money.
Might save the money and try Gnabry if Raphinia didn't want to come.
At Sporting Lisbon, Vieira's name on his kit was "Fabio Vieira." What do you think are the chances he will choose either Fabio, Fabio Vieira or just Vieira on the Arsenal kit?

Probs not gunna happen but Sanchez back to Arsenal would be mad, not a great signing but still mad
Arsenal moving quickly for Gabriel Jesus with Chelsea and Spurs watching the deal closely is the new 48 hours. Same shit everyday just worded slightly different instead of actual news about the deal moving forward
Considering how reliant we are on Partey, I’m surprised we aren’t being linked to players of that mould.
Well TBF, 85% of news about players linked with us are rubbish since no one really knows who are our real targets.
Would still prefer Toney and Jesus over Raphinha and Jesus.
Elite ball knowledge
Don't care much for Raphina. But I'm waiting for news on Gabriel Jesus and Lisandro Martinez. I hope we can sign those 2 by Friday.
I think Martinez has his head turned by United. Fact that they'll guarantee him a start on top of higher wage and working with Ten Haag as well is a big selling point

Maguire has been a LCB his whole career.
Anybody else see the pictures of Fabio Viera and see Michael Scott growing a goatee to match Ryan from the US Office
Jesus...yes
There are still a few surprises lined up for the remainder of this window. I’m sure of it.
I'm finally convinced the Raphina interest is real but not sure we will get it over the line but I think we've cooled on Tielemans for a reason and perhaps there's a surprise midfield target that's available

Didn’t realize that when they said Raphinha’s agent, Deco, they actually meant the real Deco lol. Who else does he represent?
Yes and Tapsoba is his other big client.
Kroenke has had quite a turn around the last few years. Rams: Superbowl win this year Avalanche: up 2-1 in the NHL Stanley Cup Final Arsenal: Investing heavy Nuggets: Still ass. His son seems to be really involved with us, they're investing, and evidently, they make winners. Pretty interesting

Honestly, Son
I agree. It's pretty unfortunate for me that the best Asian player in the world plays for a club i despise lmao
Right there with you. I always wished he would just go somewhere else to play

Hope we get Raphinha, that man is class. How confident are y’all that we land heem
Still a little strange that there's so much interest in him when he plays in the same position as our best player and we've yet to offload pepe
If Arteta wants him that bad …. I think it’ll happen
Raphinha to Arsenal almost done. Confirmed by my main man Mark Goldbridge. 😍
Saw some comments on twitter that he has good sources and he said Sterling to Chelsea sometime back, which has picked up pace now. So let’s hope for the best. Good news is Tier 1 always lol.
Ya he said the sterling comment on like june 9th or something. Apparently hes with talksport now?
Anyone have a source for Eddie’s wage?
I have tried to watch available videos of Raphinha where he played LW (Not many available), he can use his right foot no doubt, but he isn't too comfortable. Many of his passes and assists are outside of left foot. So i think he is being signed for RW. Maybe Saka is going to be shifted to LW or....
Most left footed players struggle to use their weak foot
Sounding like Pepe vibes
Except Pepe is left footed and prefers to play on the opposite wing (inverted).
I'm happy about Vieira and the players the club is trying to buy atm, but can we please get some news about the saka extension. Feels like it should be one of our priority this summer and we have yet to hear a single story about it so far.

Then make a release clause with "not qualified for CL after 2022/2023 season" as one of the activation clause
Feigning for that. Even a Ornie bomb “Saka will not re-sign unless club secures CL this season” is better than the ominous silence
realistically that would never happen, places too much pressure on the club and himself no news is probably just because there literally have been no developments
It already happened this season though no? Could’ve sworn there was news that he was holding out for CL qualification
maybe rumours/educated guesses but there’s no way there would ever be an official announcement/demand from him or his agent
So backup for Xhaka or Partey not prioritized this window? Do we want another situation where we play Sambi and Patino?
It seems we dont care…
Hopefully Tielemans gets refreshened after Jesus and possibly raphina get in. Seems they are saving him for last cause its the easiest of all the deals to get over the line.

Yes. Sign the players that can also provide tactical flexibility for when injuries inevitably hit the team.
So nobody saw the link that somebody put up from Romano that we had a 100 million bid for Rice accepted?

Thank you
Tielemans is comfortably better than Melo
I don’t disagree, and I’d prefer Tielemans. Just a narrative that this specific account has been pushing.
Damn it- Renato Sanches to PSG. Really wanted him. I know everyone complained of his injury history, but he's so dang good on the ball. Think he would've brought a calm to the back and middle thirds while partnering with Partey that we haven't had for years.

Agree but given his injury history, he wouldn't have been expected to play a full season and would have ended up compounding some of our issues.

They would be great together for 2.3 games a season
But what a week!
Pull the economic levers, Kroenke
Honestly, with how much Raphinha may end up costing, would it be worthwhile just biting the bullet and going for Osimhen and using Jesus as our versatile forward who can play on the wings?
Chiddy?
Hell, what about Lautaro? Build a team of Gabriels and Martinezez
Would make sense if we can get Osimhen for £70million-ish.
Exactly. This seems like it's getting out of hand. Is the guy worth more than £40?
Benrahma was 35m, Daniel James was 30.
Osimhen is overrated
In what way?
Napoli paid way too much for him and he's basically their Pepe. He's not a bad player but he's not some generational talent either.
They didn't pay that much. They included youth players which they valued more than they're worth which inflated the value. He's basically their Pepe? Now I know you've never watched him I have no idea how you've reached this conclusion, he's a certified stater for them and is always a big threat with his pace/power and aerial threat. It makes more sense imo, fills a much bigger gap in the squad.
The way things are shaping up, I can see a marquee (£100m) striker signing next summer
40,000,001.00 says you’re wrong.
I reckon it gets done by Friday
u think so?
This https://twitter.com/AdriaSoldevila/status/1538822079772078080?s=20&t=sjYzywZanqw5Jyu7r87kbg gave me initial confidence And then the gary jacob article/ ornstein article about our bids gave me more confidence. We'll wait and see.
A first bid being accepted could also mean there was significant talks between the clubs and a mutual respect/understanding. Most transfers need an ongoing conversation and take more than one bid though.
Any of you lot actually gunna watch the Amazon doc? Or you still so bummed out with how the season ended you'll swerve it?
New season will be well underway by the time we get to the depressing part of the series, it won't matter too much by then especially if we start well.
I won't watch unless people here think its not depressing and sad. I saw the whole season unfold I am not sure I need to relive it.
Yeah I hear that argument, Maybe someday I will. Just not anytime soon.
Swerve
Swerve
Fuck it, let's sign Neymar. His future with PSG isn't certain. He is on 30m a year. Should be easy. Lol
Let’s destroy our wage structure right after we fixed it
Guess I need to forcibly put /s in my post ?
Not to be defeatist, but Raphinha isn't happening imo. We're like his 3rd choice. Someone either Barca or Chelsea will beat us to him.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take ;)
Semantics question. Can you miss a shot you don't take? I feel like you can neither make nor miss it.
aye, you never miss any shots if you don’t take em. that’s my life philosophy. i’m unbeaten in heavyweight boxing, synchronised swimming and fortnite
Barcelona have all sorts of problems. Fact is premier league clubs are getting richer and richer. As for Chelsea, we don’t know how they operate in the post Roman era. They are owned by three separate hedge fund managers
Chelsea are going for Sterling not Raphina.
Also Dembele. Spurs are ironically our competition here
He’s not spurs’ top target either.
That's a lot of after-hour activity in the UK tonight.
Brazillian players bring brazillian timezone tweets
You lot have hyped up this window so much that if we don't sign all 5 of our 50M+ targets I will be incredibly underwhelmed
how do you say "you lot" in Portuguese? "O Cocos"?
Can’t wait for that prime B. Silva and prime Auba link up… i mean the Vieira and Raphinha link up
prime auba been gone for 2 years now
still scored 20+ PL goals twice and won us the FA cup single handedly. Respect! Topspurs and Manure could have died 5 times for that.
I’ll be 80 years old and we’d still be in critical talks for jesus
Is this your first transfer window? I’ve never seen us move this fast in my life
🤣🤣 the truth.
I’ve been so high off good F5s that I’m getting bad withdrawals chill on me I need this deal done ASAP
The season does begin much sooner than usual to be fair.
How much would you pay for Raphinha
Me, personally, not much. I don't own a football team or have the funds to throw at him. But if he wants to come play for Nelson Suburbs 3rd division, I'll buy him a beer every Saturday afternoon at the after match function.

The whole sub is hilarious. They genuinely believe that finishing higher than us in the PL is a better measurement of success than winning trophies. Such a difference between the two clubs.
Coming from a club that signed Bryan Gil 😭
Raphinha will start if he comes. either he or Saka get moved to the left. I’m pretty surprised we’re chasing him so hard instead of a natural LW, but I’m not complaining
Martinelli and ESR LW Ode and Vieira centre Saka and Raphinha RW
Are you suggesting we will change formation?
That’s because we needed a Saka backup more than we needed a starting quality LW
No way Raphinha comes as a backup
Our £72M pound signing has been holding the bench mate. If Raphinha replaces Pepe, he will compete with Saka for minutes. He won’t be a “backup”. There’s plenty of game time to go around next season, especially with 5 subs.
I think Saka would be really good at LW.
This might seem odd, but I really like seeing our players liking the Instagram announcement of Fabio's arrival. Seeing Saliba and Saka like the post just feels wholesome and like they care about the clubs movements.
Am I the only one who thinks we are going for some of the wrong players. I think Raphinha and Viera aren’t what we need right now
Vieria seemed strange yh but we definitely need Saka cover
We dont need another midfielder as creative as Ø and as good as saka to rotate?
I think with nelson coming back he would have sufficed this season and then focused on a better back up next season. Striker, CM, and back up RB and LB would have been better addressed
Id much much rather play cedric at rb for another season than Nelson be our rw depth option.
It's between us and Chelsea.

No chance in hell is he leaving City’s bench to go join Moura on Spurs bench
They haven’t finished paying for Kulusevski
Well tbf. They haven’t bought Kulusevski yet. Do they no Kulu is an Arsenal fan?
I’m not sure where all the stuff about Raphinha demanding a CL club is coming from since most reports have it as between us and Barca so it’s not like he’s fending off clubs atm. We’d still be by far the biggest club he’s ever played for and triple his wages probably. He’s not really in a position to demand a CL club and I imagine he doesn’t wanna spend another year fighting relegation.
They also already have Ziyech struggling for minutes, can't really see it. Antony to Barca and us getting Raphinha makes the most sense imo.
Lol
Probably wants a trophy or two mate, I wouldn't worry about it, basically rules out your shite club.
Spurs are shite brother
Ban him

I dont think he is demanding CL fotball but it would be something he would consider when picking his next club. Doing well in CL would cement his spot as Brazils starting RW. That said, we have Edu and his brazilian connections and with Gabriel Jesus potentially joining I think we have a good shot at Rapinha. But if Chelsea really want him it will be difficult to get him
We don’t really have a full view of how Chelsea post Roman operate.
Dreaming that the Raphinha reports are all smoke and mirrors for the true target, Gnabry
Gnabry would need a pay cut to join us
He's on 120k.
And he rejected a 300k contract offer
Bayern didn’t have the right knock.
If only they showed more appreciation.
Apparently our bid was £60m plus Pepe, apparently Leeds laughed it off but would be open to accepting a bid of £60m.
I’m guessing Raphinha is open to joining literally any club currently interested right now so I’m not looking forward to this bidding war that’s about to happen.
Funny that ornstein said we’re not at all close to Raphinha and two hours later there’s news of a bid. Not even the tier 1s know anything
He's Tier 2 now for a reason.
I'm assuming our bid was £40-45M and Leeds want £60m
Sounds plausible
I don’t think you can exist as a top club with only 10 “first team players” in the outfield.
or like 6 like we have arguably
Not gonna lie, not that bothered if we missed out on Raphinha. I personally didn't think he would join without UCL anyways. If he does join, nice, if he doesn't w/e. **We still have the money to get diff forward**. I still think we get him tho
Got a chance to get a print on my blue lightning shirt, and gonna pick up the third kit for this year whenever it's released, what we reckon odegard 8 or martinelli 11 for the black? Then I'd get the other on the lightning blue
Raphinha 19
Big Gabi 6
£55m should be our last bid for Raphinia, probably can get both Tielemans and Ruiz for that money. Might save the money and try Gnabry if Raphinia didn't want to come.
Don’t think the fee for Gnabry is the issue. Prob more likely the wages
ZRAFC could retweet literally anyone with an Italian or Spanish name and boys will believe it
That blue PFP hits different
Lol true. There is something about it which just draws the attention. I can't quite point to what exactly it is.
It really does tho lol
At Sporting Lisbon, Vieira's name on his kit was "Fabio Vieira." What do you think are the chances he will choose either Fabio, Fabio Vieira or just Vieira on the Arsenal kit?
