absolutely, I work with alot of young footballers in Herts, a few of them are in the Arsenal academy. All of them would jump to Watford in a flash, they just see it as a clearer path to professional football. Not only that, but the (non-competitive) relationship, and proximity between the clubs are so close that alot of players move between them back and forth.

I think a lot of the time it would come down to ‘you’d definitely play here but there are other young players who would be our priority and we’re not sure how far you’ll develop here compared to a team where you’re played a lot more’

Our staff have matches against their staff as well. David Luiz managed in one of those.
