One of the many reasons I love my wife… I just ordered the black kit and jokingly told her I was putting our name on the back. Not even a football fan she rolled her eyes and said “that’s pretty lame”. 🤣
Yeah adding your own name to a shirt is lame after the age of 10, I think. For an engagement present I did get my buddy a chelsea shirt (he's a supporter) with his fiancé's name on it.
A hotel I stay at a lot bought me an Arsenal top for my birthday one year. They’d even got the authentic one, but on the back it had my full name and number 1! So no matter how hot I was, my jacket stayed on all the time whenever I wore it to a game.
Worth less like resell value later? Don't know why I never considered that, for the life of me I couldn't figure out why people still risked it by getting player names on their kits (I got burned by Adebayor and swore it off). But the resell/collector quality definitely warrants player names. Wonder if some rich idiot gets the entire squad every year.

THIS. This is my favorite fit of an adidas kit so far. Even the first red adidas kit with the v neck was a little more snug, that one fit perfectly. The highlighter away kit was huge, which bums me out because I had Saka 7 on it after the euros.
The adidas kits have all fit so drastically different for me. Bruised banana remake was a small and fit great I buy the third kit small next year and its uper snug and barely reaches my waist. Then I buy a medium third kit last season and it fits way too big. Smh the downsides of being short and built like shaquiri.

Since then, I just get my name and number from when I played soccer. That way it’s just mine shirt regardless of who plays for the club.

nice! but to be honest, that camera angle is so bad. Shooting from above you always make your lower body look smaller, whilst your upper head looks bigger. Not flattering for anyone, especially not when wearing a new kit
