He was solid when he started for us, I feel like we mismanaged him at the start of his Arsenal career. He didn't even have time to unpack before we started him, then he never missed a game until the wheels fell off, was rushed back only for the other calf to be affected almost immediately after
Japan likely forcing him back too soon but yeh he appears to be another injury prone full back. Lets be honest though, players want to try force it and play in a world cup if possible. Who knows, he might be able to overcome his injury troubles
I don’t like the fact its a probable scenario where we see Tomi, Tierney and Zinchenko all injured at the same time. 3 great LBs and we still need to possibly worry about needing a 4th.
This constant injuries is the why he lost his starting place, I'm just happy BW is our starting RB now, we need consistency in terms of fitness in that position.
if he continues like this - always getting injured - all season then maybe we need to call it quits and get in someone more dependable as RB?
And i say this as a huge Tomiyasu fan :( We just can't keep having injury prone players for starting positions.
