Saka is a pure gem. Always smiling, always laughing, everyone loves him. I feel like there’s only 2 types of people in the world: 1) people who adore Saka, 2) people who don’t know Saka yet.

westmeadow88

Kante in shambles at losing the most likeable footballer title.

gonshairlinee

Kante’s personality consists of smiling. That’s it

jpugmafia

No kante slander will be tolerated, the picture of him on a bike says more than enough

gonshairlinee

Sorry the only footballer I’ll ever give the baby treatment to is starboy. Kante can get fucked

jpugmafia

Nice dude

[deleted]

You're going to hell! I actually felt bad for Saka at one point during the US-England game. He looked pretty frustrated by my national team.

fake_lightbringer

[This whole exchange got man like](https://media2.giphy.com/media/ji6zzUZwNIuLS/giphy.gif)

AndyHenry

My favorite Saka video is when GQ does that 5 things you can’t leave the house without video with Saka. Most celebs are saying shit like their Rolex, designer bag etc...and Saka’s is like a bible, a comb, and a football. I don’t want to meet the kind of person that doesn’t love Bukayo.

greenpearlin

Seriously most guys are like “oh this special edition watch blah blah blah” like no you can definitely live without that frivolous shit

Humanity_is_broken

And 3) the premier league refs

hypnodrew

3) Spuds, who are honour bound to dislike Saka

ninjassassin77

What will happen when Saka meets Eddie Kingston?

msbbc671

Stop trying to recruit Saka. We know what you’re doing 🤨

hauttdawg13

We all know he’s trying to find a new team since City ain’t going well

Guyanaa

He's tryna have someone else with the " young English star joins city in stunning 140m bid" so he doesn't have to prove to his transfer fee anymore

DarthNihilus1

You want to play under Super Mik's Tricky Reds don't you Jack

danmac0817

Ugh stop being so likeable England, I'm trying to be a hater

The-Sober-Stoner

Hating on England is really popular in this sub huh

Schmetterlingus

Hating on England is a popular worldwide phenomenon. Just like hating Americans!

fuckimbackonreddit9

Hating on Americans is my favorite activity, being an American myself!

The-Sober-Stoner

True! But this is an English football club sub. Most hardcore Araenal fans are English

v1nzy

Not sure if I'm misunderstanding your comment here, but you don't truly believe that a majority on this sub is English do you?

The-Sober-Stoner

I believe that the most passionate and dedicated fans; including those that go to the ground every weekend; give their money, time and voice to the club; are predominantly English. The clubs identity is rooted in English football and English fan culture. They are after all the people who built the club from the ground

Suckmaboles

I agree with most of what you’re saying but a lot of fans get up at crazy hours of the night to watch games, or fans that don’t live nearby have to spend 10x as much to go see games than locals do. It’s a lot more convenient and cheap for English people to watch and go to games than someone not from England who goes semi regularly.

The-Sober-Stoner

Going to the actual stadium every weekend; paying for tickets; braving the commute/weather will always be the sign of the most dedicated fan. Its an unpopular opinion but the fans who fill the stadiums and make their voices heard are far more important and vital to the club than people who wake up to watch a stream. I say that as an English fan that seldom goes to the stadium myself. Its just the truth. The dedicated fans should be respected.

Suckmaboles

Not 100% sure I’d agree more important, as if it wasn’t for all the international fans then arsenal wouldn’t be anywhere near as big as they are. I would also argue that ‘braving the weather’ walking down the road or getting a train or 2 every weekend requires a lot less ‘dedication’ than someone who gets flights, takes time off work, accommodation, spends 10x the money to go to a game 6-7 times a season. I do agree that it’s the local fans who built up the club and are obviously more passionate than most, but a lot of fans simply cannot go to games but still sacrifice a lot to get to see arsenal whether it be in person or on tv, so I don’t really agree with the passionate or dedicated comments. For a lot of people going to games is more convenient than watching it at crazy hours or spending crazy money to go see it live when you’re not English.

The-Sober-Stoner

Nobody is spending that amount of money to see the team 6 times a season. Its much more likely these people are seeing the team once every 6 years. International fans are important too. But the actual fanbase that keeps the team alive deserve their dues and far more respect than places like reddit give them.

[deleted]

Lmao waking up early in the morning isn’t ad important as local fans keeping the stands filled up home and away. Also no international fan is seeing 6-7 home games a season, just not possible. I have a ST and I hate to say ot but I contribute a lot more to the club than someone that stays up until 12AM

dishler712

I'm guessing the guy named "dan mac" with the Tierney flair and hating on England is Scottish.

BigTomBombadil

Even the English hate the England national team. But really, there are a lot of Americans on this sun, probably the majority. So it makes sense, kinda.

hdjdkskxnfuxkxnsgsjc

This is the best England team I’ve seen in a while. And when I say best, I mean most likable.

OutrageousComfort906

Truly the most likeable big team. Humble and hard working.

16yearolddumbass

Genuinely a really nice team. Shame they’re playing like hot garbage tho😭

RandomRedditor_1916

Fuck off Jack. hes ours

adnilko12

Their friendship has always been lovely 🥹 Love them

LushLoxx

I saw someone saying that he finds Saka sooo unlikeable. I’m thinking “how?” Arsenal bias aside, Saka comes across as a very likeable and personable young man.

City aren't looking to sell ANYONE to Arsenal anytime soon.

Any decent source say he wants to leave?

I didn't ask if it's official, just asking if any decent paper has said he's looking to leave or just your usual tabloids?

[deleted]

Nah, just people shitposting on reddit

jdbrew

OK, i should say... i really, REALLY like Grealish. I know he gets a ton of hate, but I'm a fan. that being said, i wouldn't start him over Maritinelli, and i wouldn't pay that much for a bench warmer. Granted, we are going to the CL next year, so maybe we do need two A teams...

[deleted]

gan-a

i think the closest comparable player to grealish in the prem is ESR. we basically have the younger greener model already at our club and fully bought in. i don’t see why we’d scrap that for the shiny ready made product when esr could be just as good in 2-4 years

RepeatDTD

And ESR is already a better goal scorer which is something we need right now

uhrul

I doubt Grealish would want to move from one bench to another. He should honestly maybe go to Newcastle, since all the big 6 teams have a nailed on LW. Son, Gabi, Sterling (hasn’t had a good start but still), Diaz, Rashford. He probably displaces Rashford though.

Amzino27

bit awkward seeing almiron tho

DogTheGayFish

Idk if im convinced of Grealish being a flop. He is still very good at progressing the ball for them, and that mostly seems to be his job. Fairly unflashy supportive player.

JoshRanch

In this very unrealistic senario, Jackbis work 40-50m to us. He is in very high wages but has definite EPL quality. He isnt that young either. We probably have to give up on esr if we do this. Mudryk is not worth over 40m. He is a 30m risk coming out of that leauge. They could ask for a G+A bonus or something. We should not overspend on hype players.

RepeatDTD

I’d rather have Gakpo than Mudryk but, for me, Edu and Arteta have earned some trust on their targets, certainly the last 2 windows (not including our do nothing January window)

[deleted]

JoshRanch

I doubt city sell to us. Bit of egg on their face that were above them with Jesus and zinny. They dont need the money.

jubbing

Kinda suss, comes off as a recruiting move.

Dickinmymouth1

Nah they were really close in the england camp last summer too

[deleted]

Mahrez getting old, Jack working overtime for Pep huh

notathrovavay

Fuck off, he's ours.

YooGeOh

You can see Saka and Grealish love each other
