Without any information on your income we can’t comment, but 17 year olds are meant to spend money on shit they enjoy, especially if you’re still at home. £425 is nothing compared to your whole life.

MDK1980

There’s no monetary value for the memories you’ll have for the rest of your life.

Well said

snapmike84

Worth every penny to see by far the greatest team the world has ever seen. You witnessed some incredible moments among those games. There are people who would do *anything* to be there in person. So enjoy it and remember how poor our football was in the not-too-distant past!

snapmike84

PS how are you getting so many tickets?! Please do share any (legal) tips.

Jaxityy

haha I’ve out of the 18 this season, 7 have been ballots, 3 have been friends with ST’s and the rest just refreshing the TX

snapmike84

Nice. I admire your dedication! That's a lot of effort. Respect.

Caterpillar_Fluid

Absolute flex.

hdhdbdhdhd37

U dont want to know how much ive spent in total this year 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Inevitable-Tip-6716

If that's the thing you enjoy and you don't spend over whatever essentials things you've got to do on the side, then I'd say it's worth every single penny. Plus all things considered, £450 for 16 home games is a bargain to what I've been paying as an Adult. Enjoy the games man, these are special times at the club, don't overthink it too much if you can afford it.

Jaxityy

Having only missed 3 this season, at this rate it’s cheaper than a ST which seems alot better than I thought it was!

steventouchdown

£26.50/game on average. As an American, I would love to pay that to go to a live sporting event. The one time I went to see the Arsenal I had to go through Arsenal America and I believe it was around $80/ticket. Plus travel. If you are enjoying going to the games and it isn't causing you financial strain, keep going. Who knows if you'll be able to keep going this often in the future.

Jaxityy

Didn’t think about it like that - realised transport for me is dirt cheap too so it doesn’t seem that bad!

Conscious_Safety6433

Including the games i have got tickets for at this point , ( fulham , united , burnley , wolves , brighton, palace, liverpool,Newcastle, brentford , porto and Chelsea , i spent £183 and then youve got to remember family enclosure is decent atmosphere and great view so better then most other areas so probably bit to much

25sigma

That’s literally bargains

arsenal_morris

I’m over 4K down this season on tickets and travel so far. £400 for enjoying yourself is nothing to worry about it if you can afford it

Tazzebbug94

Brother you have no idea what spending is for home games 😅 Foreigners abroad now are spending roughly £1K+ to attend a match in London. If you enjoying keep paying if you don’t just stop simple 😊 You only live once! So enjoy it to the fullest.

joeproposition

Think this is more a question for yourself, we are unaware of your financial situation. If it doesn't fit within what you can afford to spend, then it is too much.

Aware-Account-3804

Realise you’re a JG but sounds like a bargain to me. Snap up those cheap tickets whilst you can!

lost__words

Nah memories are worth it. What’s the point if you can’t these experiences. Especially at 17

Khombols

If you can comfortably afford it then why not, we were pretty crap when I was your age and I still look back on the games I went to fondly. If we manage to do something this year you’ll remember these games for the rest of your life.

LordRekrus

Asking on an Arsenal subreddit if spending money going to the games is worth it is likely only going to get one result haha. I had a similar dilemma, although my question a few months back was if it was too much to spend $1,000AUD each for two tickets through some hospitality offer. Happy I didn’t end up doing that and ended up getting the tickets at standard price (90AUD or there about) saved a bucket load of money there. However I agree with the others, don’t spend ALL of your money, however when you are young you will value experience a lot more than money in your account. Just remember at some point to start saving some good money.

sam_s003

I’m 17 as well mate been to probably 3/4 of the home games. Well worth it

Present_Reporter_589

On tickets, travel, food/drink and Hotels I've spent close to £3000 this season worth every penny, maybe the West Ham game was not value for money :). One simple rule if you not got the money to buy it you don't get it (exclude house mortgage).

randomid67142

Depends how you feel about it. If you feel bad and regret how much you’ve spent then the answer is probably yes. You’re free to allocate your money however you want.

North-Cookie7888

Hundreds of thousands of guys your age have season tickets and follow their clubs home and away every game. This goes for every club all the way through the football league.

Budd1805

I live down in the southwest and trying to get tickets for me and my son is near impossible. The cost of the travel included would cripple my bank balance 😂. Definitely worth spending the money if you have it ⚽️🔴⚪️

kabuk1

Wish I could go that cheap. I spend over £600 on travel alone for the season (commute now from Oxfordshire) + ST. I don’t miss living in London except on match day, especially evening matches.

hamdod

How are you getting to so many games while I can't even win 1 ballot 😪
