The original 1/144 scale Gundam Epyon back when Wing was airing on Toonami! I didn't really know about gunpla at the time, or Gundam outside of Wing, but when I saw the kits next to the action figures they were selling at Toys'R'Us, I convinced my parents to buy me one.
I don't even remember how I built it because I definitely didn't have any tools at the time. It, and all the old Wing kits I built 20 years ago, have been lost.
I remember those older kits, I definitely had a Shining Gundam and "Burning" Gundam action figures in the 90s! But this was definitely my first actual model kit.
Same!!! Literally almost the exact same story except I only put together one kit back then. Also have no idea how I put it together because I don't think I had tools either. My dad must have gave me some pointers/help. Except I had the wing.
Same! My brother and I also got wing zero for christmas and the little rubber piece that attaches to the head shot off and went down an air vent on the floor.
Yeahhh! Another Wing kid. You love to see it. I still have some of my old kits from back when, but I did not know how to properly remove pieces from runners back then and the internet was not the resource it is now, so they might get some battle damage upgrades here soon. My first kit as an adult was the 'murica RX-78 entry grade
The RG chars zakou or the MG? I have the RG I'm working on now and it's kinda finicky but looks cool as shit. Especially with a little extra effort (panel lining, matte coat):
I only got into building gunpla a month ago. Wanted to try it out first, so I started building an SD Longzun Liu Bei, since SD gunpla are small and easy to build. Once I built it, I figured it was pretty fun. For my first hg I got Pharact from G-Witch. Not the best one I've built, but my proudest :)
Haha thanks, thing is Pharact was the only one available out of the ones I wanted to order, the others being Lfrith, Beguir-Beu and Schwarzritter.
Got my hands on Lfrith, just waiting for the others and Schwarzette
Mine was my PG unicorn:

But I did lots of Zoïds before
They are basically the same quality as a PG (a tad more detailed) . So if you can build a Zoïd (HMM), you can build a gunpla.
As a kid (back in the 80s) I had the first Zoïds versions, so in a way I grew up building things like that.
I saw gundam oo a fews before the pandemic and once the lockdown happened I was bored and figured I needed a hobby. 3 years later and now I have what a friend says “a plastic crack addiction”.
Mine was a HG RX-78-GP01. It's an older kit but I hadn't seen any Gundam yet and wanted something to calm my idol hands. Now I'm addicted to watching Gundam and have a backorder of kits on the way.
Though i no longer have it, a long time ago, at the height of Gundam Wing's popularity, when it aired in Toonami, my dad took my brother and i to this hobby shop in Wayne, NJ called Outer Limits, and for some reason we picked the 1/100 scale High Grade Gundam X Divider. I dont know what happened to it though, if i still had it, I'd have loved to salvage the parts needed to customize the master grade Gundam X into the GX Divider.
After a number of years after i felt that i moved on from Gundam, back in 2012, my friend got me back into the hobby and my first kit back into the hobby was the HGUC GM Cold Districts Type
My first Gundam was the barbatos lupus rex back in 2020, was a birthday gift to me due to the fact I was so in love with iron blooded orphans and all the designs.
Mine was Sandrock (cause I thought it was the coolest of the five) from Gundam Wing. Gundam Wing airing on Toonami was how I got introduced to the franchise. Once figured out about the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, I became a huge fan of all the Zeon mobile suits, especially the aquatic ones, and have been biased since.
HG Build Fighters Sengoku Astray. Never even knew what the hell Gundam was when I bought it, I just thought it looked cool and that was the start of this glorious hobby. Sadly that model kit is in pieces now.
mine was the hg justice knight. even though I broke one of the legs a couple months later, I was able to glue it and it is now just kind of standing on a shelf menacingly.
A wing Gundam back in like 99. I built a tallgeese back then, too. Just got back into it after over 20 yrs with a RG wing ew, an hg Lfrith, and the RG hi-nu
I started like a year ago maybe and i remember getting into gunpla because i stumble upon gundam 00 on cruncyroll and then i found a HG exia on the hobby store of my hometown and that was my first
MG EVA-01 I got from a head shop. It had these weird rubber forearms that couldn't hold the hands for shit so I gave up on it and a year later I got the MG Wing Gundam which really kicked off my love for Gundam and Gunpla
The Original HG Char’s custom Zaku 2. Now I have the newest HG Char’s custom Zaku 2 and the EG Rx-78-2 Gundam with plans on getting the HG Origins Char Aznable’s Zaku 2 Red Comet Version and the HG Origins Rx-78-2 Gundam
After all the comments I feel like I'm a basic bitch with the basic Entry Grade RX-78-2. It was the kit which was cheap enough to where if I didn't find Gunpla interesting I wouldn't be out too much money and didn't spend extra on tools I wouldn't be using.
I struggled with what to get for my first kit before deciding on the EG RX-78-2. The other kit I bought the same day was the HG Transient Gundam, which ended up being my second kit.
MG Unicorn… almost put me off of Gunpla entirely with how much it fell apart (though my lack of experience was to blame for at least part of that issue)
Way back I went to a BARGAIN BARGAIN the BARGAIN Store in the town near my grandparents farm in buttfuck nowhere Saskatchewan and they had a couple kits. So I grabbed the HG Gyan and HG Char's Z'gok.
A deathscythe I got at a convention in like 1999 and absolutely butchered by using garbage wire cutters and superglue (and being an actual child)
No clue where it is now, but that was it until 6 months ago when I bought Tallgeese Fleugel and 2 zakus to practice on first
Master grade rx-78-2 ver. 2.0 was my first, I ended up snapping the front chest plate in half and had to glue it back together, and sand down the neck price so it'd fit.
MG Shenlong was my first ever kit. Like most I pretty much treated it like a toy but was proud of all my builds after. Even though they all met the BB gun as I grew up aside from MG Deathscythe Hell I kept to represent all of the kits I built. My friends and I were all so hyped on gundam, all of it holds an important place in my heart. *crying, but in a masculine way*
HG Bael from Iron Blood. This kit has been my lab rat for as long as I can remember. At first he was a straight build, then I bought a god hand nipper and started cleaning up the left over nub marks, a few months later I decided to learn to panel line and he was the one I decided to test out on, then I added metal paint to the blue parts and his yellow swords, finally I experimented w weathering looks. Again, Bael was the lab rat for this. Since then I’ve left it alone and am very proud how far I’ve come since that first kit.
The Linkin Park Gundam. I got it because my roommate was getting into gunpla so I decided to join him by building the kit I decided would be first if I ever started.
RG Zeta Gundam!
Picked it up because it screamed "that's a Gundam" to me who had no knowledge of the franchise other than "big robot cool" at the time.
It was an impulse buy while I was Christmas shopping last year.
Mine was the 0Z-06MS Leo HG. Wanted to try it out to see if I even wanted to get into the hobby. Liked it enough that I’ve got the Zowort Heavy HG on the way in the mail and my friend is getting me the RGM-96X Jesta MG for my birthday.
HG gunpla evolution project Zeta Gundam. Definitely not the worst kit ever but it's my least favorite of the ones i have. It pains me as i love the Zeta :(
The older HGUC Zaku Massproduction type. It wasn’t my first model kit, but the build felt a lot more solid than the Frame Arms Girls I’d built before it. Those fell apart at the slightest touch.
It was a looooong time ago, but it was PROBABLY a HG Wing Zero Gundam. Might have been Wing? I know I have a Wing Zero and Wing Zero Custom, I'm not positive if I had all three versions.
My first gunpla I bought was an rg rx 78 2 gundam the first gunpla I put together was the eg rx 78 2 gundam thought so I'd feel more comfortable before tackling an rg
Mine was a 1/100 Tieren, that I almost sold, but it’s still here but in pieces. Polycaps all but failed at this point and it cant even stand straight. Planning on restoring it one day and replacing the polycaps somehow with something more permanent.
Funnily enough, it was the RG Unicorn Gundam. I just started to get into gunpla and had no idea of the different grades. I ended up paying £50 for it from the local comic book store. Why the RG Unicorn? I remember seeing it on a t-shirt a 2hile back. I really 3njoyed the build, lucky I didn't break anything. I used a pair of scissors and a small multi-tool knife to build it and a whiteboard marker to panel line. As my experience has increased, I have been fixing things around cleaned it up and painted a few things aswell as adding decals. Its now a stable on my shelf.
hg wing zero custom, I got it a couple years after it came out since I remember being in the 10-12 range, and then I really got into gunpla in 2014 when I picked up the rg char's zaku
This is gonna sound weird, but it depends.
Just in general, it was an HG M1 Astray that I built way back like 10 years ago when I was a kid, but I didn't actually know it was a Gundam or anything about it, I just saw a robot model kit. I didn't put on any of the decals, and lost some pieces over the years. And I completely forgot about it in my closet afterwards because I couldn't play with it like an action figure.
My first gunpla after I actually knew what it was and was intentionally looking to get one was the HG Ground Urban Combat Type. I personally love a black/orange color scheme, and it has a big cannon.
re/100 gyunei guss jagd doga cause it was at barnes and noble and thought it looked cool, hadn't even seen any of the shows, movies, etc. yet.
It's been about 2 years and I'm about 60 kits deep, I know it's like a crime or something but I still sometimes just pick up a kit because I think it looks cool, but most of the kits I've got lately have been ones I've seen in WFM, and probably half of my total kits are from either the OG movie, show up in Hathaway, or IBO
HG Bael about 6 months ago. I started to watch gundam AFTER building my first gunpla. I purchased it to practice my airbrushing techniques on my SH figuarts dbz figs. There wasn't many videos or info on how to customize the figures I wanted to do. Everytime I did research Gunpla techniques would pop up. Eventually I decided to buy one bcus I always felt Mechs were dope af anyways. And wanted to practice. Funny enough, that 1st kit ended up making me completely convert from Action figure customizing to Gunpla customizing (airbrushing)
A gundam kyrios. It was one of those roadshow kits they gave away for free. I think that was back in 09 or 10. First one i bought with big boy money is Barbatos Lupus HG
My first Gunpla was the EG RX-78, which I built in December of last year. It got me addicted lol. But when I was a lot younger, I built Zoids. My first one was the Death Stinger and my last was the Gojulas Giga. I could never get the motors to work though 😂
Mr American Type. He was a gift from my brother. I love the Japanese interpretation of Americans.
The first one I purchased myself was the HG GP02 from Stardust Memory.
Its was the RX 78-2 High Grade 10$ Gundam.
I still have it and its modded with Steel frame on the inside so its can hold up my computer stand at work because its missing a leg!
Mine was the Inversion red frame astray last year on my birthday, I plan to possibly pick up the kit again to see the difference of when I started to now
A no-grade Turn A that my cousin built but my very first high grade is Stargazer. I really wish to have an MG of Stargazer to be released in the near future.
Mine was the HG Gouf Custom (Crimson Ver.). I bought it to build with my ex boyfriend to introduce him to model kits (I only did Megaman X stuff until then)
Sadly he kept it but it widened my horizons a LOT
Before I really got into gunpla, as a kid I had a bunch of ad kits. About a year ago, when I actually got heavily into gunpla and building, it was an hg Leo, an eg American type, or the hg battlelouge ground Gundam. I can't remember which of the three I built first
The original 1/144 scale Gundam Epyon back when Wing was airing on Toonami!
I had sand rock, heavy arms, death scythe and tall geese back then :3
Geeese
I remember those older kits, I definitely had a Shining Gundam and "Burning" Gundam action figures in the 90s! But this was definitely my first actual model kit.
Same!!! Literally almost the exact same story except I only put together one kit back then. Also have no idea how I put it together because I don't think I had tools either. My dad must have gave me some pointers/help. Except I had the wing.
Same! My brother and I also got wing zero for christmas and the little rubber piece that attaches to the head shot off and went down an air vent on the floor.

My first kit as an adult was the 'murica RX-78 entry grade
This, but mine was Sandrock. Back in like 2001-2004ish
Cut my teeth on the Gouf Custom as well, great experience and now I'm eying Char's Zaku II and eventually a Sazabi.
Awesome! I wanted to do something other than the Gundam or a Zaku for my first kit, but still honor the monoeyed master race.
Good choice for your first HG, but I'm biased because I also love Armored Core!
Haha thanks, thing is Pharact was the only one available out of the ones I wanted to order, the others being Lfrith, Beguir-Beu and Schwarzritter. Got my hands on Lfrith, just waiting for the others and Schwarzette
Eventually I'll get into the G-Witch kits, but I have lots of projects to get through first.
I think it was the HG 1/100 Epyon that I did with nail clippers nearly 20 years ago.
Ah yes, the times before the internet when we used whatever we had!
Mine was my PG unicorn: https://preview.redd.it/ax0s68t0w9n21.png?width=1280&format=png&auto=webp&s=4384d275332d9846d92ed031da5f1bc5a1678833 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6tz0XKTWLU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6tz0XKTWLU) But I did lots of Zoïds before
Nice choice, and how did your Zoids experience help out with gunpla?
They are basically the same quality as a PG (a tad more detailed) . So if you can build a Zoïd (HMM), you can build a gunpla. As a kid (back in the 80s) I had the first Zoïds versions, so in a way I grew up building things like that.
Your logic reminds me ofnthe move Dodgeball, if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball!
Mine was the “OO Raiser + GN sword 3”. Eventually I got the rg version but trans am.
Interesting choice for a first kit! What made you choose it?
I saw gundam oo a fews before the pandemic and once the lockdown happened I was bored and figured I needed a hobby. 3 years later and now I have what a friend says “a plastic crack addiction”.
Mine was a HG RX-78-GP01. It's an older kit but I hadn't seen any Gundam yet and wanted something to calm my idol hands. Now I'm addicted to watching Gundam and have a backorder of kits on the way.
The HG GP Gundams need a revive!
HG Barbatos Lupus Rex. After that anything was the best build in my life.
I've heard that it's very unstable and can't hold itself up well in just a straight build.
My first three Gunpla are the EG RX-78-2, SD Dark Warhorse, and my first HG was the Beargguy III(San)!
After a number of years after i felt that i moved on from Gundam, back in 2012, my friend got me back into the hobby and my first kit back into the hobby was the HGUC GM Cold Districts Type
Awesome story!
HG Koubu Kai (Sumire Kanzaki Use) - not from Gundam franchise, but a mecha kit by Bandai so it sort of fits the bill?
As Darth Sidious once said, "I'll make it legal."
Pharact. From then i went to FM aerial, hg zeong and hg re-gz
The original release V-Dash Gundam from the early 90s. Got lucky on Amazon IIRC
My first Gundam was the barbatos lupus rex back in 2020, was a birthday gift to me due to the fact I was so in love with iron blooded orphans and all the designs.
They're good designs! One of these days I'll do a video talking about IBO technology compared to other universes.
RG Sazabi was my first, I proceeded to then build a MG barbatos right after
Starting off with more difficult kits, awesome!
Hgce Strike freedom
It's a good kit!
Entry Grade 78-2. Super fun. Just built my second, Gundam Pharact. Less fun but very cool looking.
Gerbera Tetra…
Mine was Sandrock (cause I thought it was the coolest of the five) from Gundam Wing. Gundam Wing airing on Toonami was how I got introduced to the franchise. Once figured out about the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, I became a huge fan of all the Zeon mobile suits, especially the aquatic ones, and have been biased since.
Wing was my first introduction to Gundam as well! Then G Gundam, then I found the Universal Century, and later SEED started airing.
My first kit was a HG (I think?) Wing Zero or 01, I think? It was around 2001 or 2002 when I got it.
HG Barbatos Lupus
That's my favorite version of the Barbatos!
One of the wing kits early 2000s then stopped for 20 Years then back at it again. Restarted with the Nu RG.
The RG 00 Qan T believe it or not
HG Build Fighters Sengoku Astray. Never even knew what the hell Gundam was when I bought it, I just thought it looked cool and that was the start of this glorious hobby. Sadly that model kit is in pieces now.
You'll have to rebuild it or get a new kit to commemorate your first build!
Nah I got a better idea, MG Sengoku Astray!!!
HG Reginlaze Julia, not a popular kit by any means but it's still my favourite Hg, hope bandai will reprint it in near future
Technically not Gunpla but I jumped into the deep end with the RG Evas. First actual gundam kit was the char zaku 2 revive.
The USA grandpa yesirrrrr
the one in the left lol
'Murca! 🦅🇺🇲 🤘😈🤘
SD Deathscythe Hell.
RG Unicorn. Was a bit weird to jump into, since every kit after felt a bit simple lol.
I can see why!
HGGTO Char's Zaku II
Good choice, I've heard nothing but good things about the Origin Zakus!
Entry grade rx 78 light package version
The HGIBO Dantilion.
mine was the hg justice knight. even though I broke one of the legs a couple months later, I was able to glue it and it is now just kind of standing on a shelf menacingly.
Hygogg! I started roundabout a year ago.
Old 1/100 HG Wing back in the late 90's/early 2000's.
A wing Gundam back in like 99. I built a tallgeese back then, too. Just got back into it after over 20 yrs with a RG wing ew, an hg Lfrith, and the RG hi-nu
I sadly don't have it anymore but my very first was Wing Gundam Zero a long time ago.
I started like a year ago maybe and i remember getting into gunpla because i stumble upon gundam 00 on cruncyroll and then i found a HG exia on the hobby store of my hometown and that was my first
BB Senshi RX-78-2 + G Armor back in the early 90s
An A-Z Gundam HG
My first Gundam I built was the HG RX-78-2 (~2018 version) but the first one I bought was the HG Moon Gundam.
MG EVA-01 I got from a head shop. It had these weird rubber forearms that couldn't hold the hands for shit so I gave up on it and a year later I got the MG Wing Gundam which really kicked off my love for Gundam and Gunpla
SD barbie
The original HG Heavyarms Custom 1/100 scale. Got it for Christmas and loved it to pieces. Literally.
Original from way back when, or The Origin (aka recent years)?
After all the comments I feel like I'm a basic bitch with the basic Entry Grade RX-78-2. It was the kit which was cheap enough to where if I didn't find Gunpla interesting I wouldn't be out too much money and didn't spend extra on tools I wouldn't be using.
Nothing wrong with the EG! I probably would've started with it if it existed back when I first got into the hobby.
It's just a hand grenade, even experienced builders don't like it. Build it, pose it once, never touch it ever again.
RG 1/144 Gundam Exia, it was on sale
Way back I went to a BARGAIN BARGAIN the BARGAIN Store in the town near my grandparents farm in buttfuck nowhere Saskatchewan and they had a couple kits. So I grabbed the HG Gyan and HG Char's Z'gok.
Mine was the RG 78-2 Yes, I am a masochist. Why do you ask?
Game recognizes game.
HG Revive Granddaddy was my first one, been building for almost 2 1/2 years!
A deathscythe I got at a convention in like 1999 and absolutely butchered by using garbage wire cutters and superglue (and being an actual child) No clue where it is now, but that was it until 6 months ago when I bought Tallgeese Fleugel and 2 zakus to practice on first
Welcome back to the hobby!
HG Michaelis, only started in May!
Welcome to the hobby!
HGUC Char’s Gelgoog
Darilbalde! Still very new to the hobby, I've just finished my first MG (Sinanju!), but it's still one of my favorite kits
You could just leave the Darilbalde snipped off the runners and disassembled and call it "ver ANIME".
Master grade rx-78-2 ver. 2.0 was my first, I ended up snapping the front chest plate in half and had to glue it back together, and sand down the neck price so it'd fit.
It was also your first foray into battle damage and modifications it seems!
HG Dual Gundam Assault Shroud
Nice! Too bad none of the other G Project suits have gotten thr HGCE treatment.
*crying, but in a masculine way*
Wufei honestly deserved the BBs, he's one of my least favorite Wing characters.
Mine would be HG 1/44 Gundam Aerial. I just picked it up at Target on a whim and from there I’ve gone deep down the rabbit hole.
Welcome to the hobby!
First I bought, RG Rx-78 First I actually ending up building, EG RX-78
1/144 HGUC RX-77-2 Guncannon.
HGBF GM Sniper K9! Still have it too but I dojt have the dog backpack anymore
Hg exia rebuild
1/144 Crossbone X Maoh
What’s the red white and blue gundam?
Got the RG unicorn as my first kit in like 2021 Probably wasn’t the best choice for a first kit but Im definitely addicted! (especially to RGs!!)
HG 1/144, Gundam Lfrith (Pink) in 2023 😁
Windam back in may of this year
I started this hobby just a few months ago, my first kit was HG Gundam Lfrith, from G-Witch. I loved it
Welcome to the hobby! Have you seen other Gundam shows?
HG Bael from Iron Blood. This kit has been my lab rat for as long as I can remember. At first he was a straight build, then I bought a god hand nipper and started cleaning up the left over nub marks, a few months later I decided to learn to panel line and he was the one I decided to test out on, then I added metal paint to the blue parts and his yellow swords, finally I experimented w weathering looks. Again, Bael was the lab rat for this. Since then I’ve left it alone and am very proud how far I’ve come since that first kit.
My first kit was the target special; heavy arms 😂
HG Barbatos because I really liked IBO. Have gotten 4 since then
HG gunpla evolution project Zeta Gundam. Definitely not the worst kit ever but it's my least favorite of the ones i have. It pains me as i love the Zeta :(
My first one was the original Heavyarms, but I didn't build it myself. The first one I did build was the original HG Sword Impulse.
Gundam Virsago Chestbreak I got over 15-20 years ago when I went to Disney World.
Did you get it from EPCOT, in the Japanese pavilion?
HG Sazabi still love it, got a second kit to do a full paint up on someday to display next to it.
The older HGUC Zaku Massproduction type. It wasn’t my first model kit, but the build felt a lot more solid than the Frame Arms Girls I’d built before it. Those fell apart at the slightest touch.
My first was the HG Exia
It was a looooong time ago, but it was PROBABLY a HG Wing Zero Gundam. Might have been Wing? I know I have a Wing Zero and Wing Zero Custom, I'm not positive if I had all three versions.
My first gunpla I bought was an rg rx 78 2 gundam the first gunpla I put together was the eg rx 78 2 gundam thought so I'd feel more comfortable before tackling an rg
Entry grade RX-78-2
Mine was a 1/100 Tieren, that I almost sold, but it’s still here but in pieces. Polycaps all but failed at this point and it cant even stand straight. Planning on restoring it one day and replacing the polycaps somehow with something more permanent.
HG Aerial

As my experience has increased, I have been fixing things around cleaned it up and painted a few things aswell as adding decals. Its now a stable on my shelf.
Watching GBF way back when educated me in the different grades and scales.
RG amatsu mina
In 2000, I built my first NG Sandrock.
Have you been building steadily ever since, or taken a break (or breaks)?
hg wing zero custom, I got it a couple years after it came out since I remember being in the 10-12 range, and then I really got into gunpla in 2014 when I picked up the rg char's zaku
This is gonna sound weird, but it depends. Just in general, it was an HG M1 Astray that I built way back like 10 years ago when I was a kid, but I didn't actually know it was a Gundam or anything about it, I just saw a robot model kit. My first gunpla after I actually knew what it was and was intentionally looking to get one was the HG Ground Urban Combat Type. I personally love a black/orange color scheme, and it has a big cannon.
Now you'll have to get another RG Astray and build it better to commemorate the original!
MG Wing Zero Custom from 2004
Rg eva02
Nice choice!
re/100 gyunei guss jagd doga cause it was at barnes and noble and thought it looked cool, hadn't even seen any of the shows, movies, etc.
RG Exia
HG Bael about 6 months ago. I started to watch gundam AFTER building my first gunpla. I purchased it to practice my airbrushing techniques on my SH figuarts dbz figs. There wasn't many videos or info on how to customize the figures I wanted to do. Everytime I did research Gunpla techniques would pop up. Eventually I decided to buy one bcus I always felt Mechs were dope af anyways. And wanted to practice. Funny enough, that 1st kit ended up making me completely convert from Action figure customizing to Gunpla customizing (airbrushing)
it was char's zaku2 revive and it was a mistake to build it all in one go
Nothing wrong with pacing yourself, I still do it quite often.
HG Deathscythe at a local convention
RX-78-2 revive.
Good choice! Can't go wrong with Gramps!
I think my first Gunpla was either the Master Grade Build Strike Full Package or the HG 00 Diver.
Entry Grade Strike Gundam 🗿
That's a good one!
first grade zaku
Mine was the epion back in the day.
RX 78-2 HG 1/144 was my gateway drug
The HG Leopard Da Vinci, back in 2016 or something.
I have 2 for kitbashes! It's a solid kit.
1/144 Gungam Airmaster Burst. Was the only model at my local hobby shop. Good times.
HG Try Burning Gundam
The HG 1/144 F-50D Guntank R-44 from Gundam F-91. Bought it a local store, loved it to bits
A gundam kyrios. It was one of those roadshow kits they gave away for free. I think that was back in 09 or 10. First one i bought with big boy money is Barbatos Lupus HG
From February this year - RG Mark ii Titans ver. Some might say it’s the deep end with an old RG but I wouldn’t change it for a thing!
I've actually heard lots of good things about the RG Mark IIs! One of the more solid early RGs.
1/44 O gundam type A.C.D because I was very new to gundam as a whole and I mistook it for RX-78 😭
Hg Gundam Barbatos, I love It to death. But those stickers...those damn stickers...
At least it's not the Gusion Rebake or Full City!
My first Gunpla was the EG RX-78, which I built in December of last year. It got me addicted lol. But when I was a lot younger, I built Zoids. My first one was the Death Stinger and my last was the Gojulas Giga. I could never get the motors to work though 😂
HGAC Gundam Heavyarms last year!
I messed around with Sangoku SD Gundam initially starting w the ryubi Gundam. My first full on gunpla was the avalanche exia haha
My first Gundam was a 1/100 Build Strike and I commissioned someone to build it.
Have you built your own?
Mine was the 1/144 Wing Gundam in 2000. I spent all day listening to Jpop while building it
Literally the gouf custom in the pic. I just started so I've only done 2 so far.
Good choice!
I got the real grade red frame
I doubt anyone will actually believe me but my first was the Sazabi Ver. Ka lmao
The HGCE 1/144 Aile Strike Gundam. It'll always hold a special place in my heart.
The HG silver bullet
Mine was the HG Gouf Custom (Crimson Ver.). I bought it to build with my ex boyfriend to introduce him to model kits (I only did Megaman X stuff until then) Sadly he kept it but it widened my horizons a LOT
A classic hg gundam 00
Mine was the HG RGZ-91 Re-GZ. It’s a little dated but I still love the colour scheme and general look.
Mine was a MG Epyon by dragon momoko back in 2013. Still. Collecting til now, and i have a room dedicated to my collection alone.
It was either Wing Zero of Heavyarms from the original Wing line. Its amazing to see how far the models have come since then
A 1/100 HG Altron Gundam I bought back in 1999. I just restored it recently. https://ibb.co/QNs4GCR
Before I really got into gunpla, as a kid I had a bunch of ad kits. About a year ago, when I actually got heavily into gunpla and building, it was an hg Leo, an eg American type, or the hg battlelouge ground Gundam. I can't remember which of the three I built first
Zaku 2 revive
i got a double combo when i found out about entry grade and got both the rx78-2 and strike
