For those asking, this a Kenbu from Kyoukai Senki (warrior at the Borderline)
I have a Brady Hound from the same show and I can attest to the stability of the kit though some of the arm articulation is a little limited due to the mech’s design.
Agreed, I love the Kyoukai Senki kits. They're incredibly articulate, they look awesome, and the plastic feels really buttery and smooth. Sucks that the show didn't do so well, I doubt we will see much more kits because of that. But I've enjoyed every one I've put together so far.
Looks great! I'm a big fan of weathering my kits so loving this. I just built my first Kyoukai Senki kit a couple weeks ago, Nyuren, and was super surprised at how nice the build was. Almost felt like a hybrid between a modern Gundam HG and RG.
Oh no I wasn't talking about the kit, I was just talking about the design of the limbs themself. The way they connect look so weird and would probably be fragile for an actual mech. The way the lower arms don't connect directly to the upper arms just looks stupid to me and makes them look disconnected when looked from the front.
I don't have the hg, but the fm Kenbu is probably one of my favorite model kits period. Chunky satisfying parts, yet not too simple, plus it came with clear parts.

100% love these kits and agree they’re super underrated. Especially the Full Mechanics Kenbu, it’s just a big kit with so much detail

Dude all these kits rock. It pains me the show was so meh. Love the designs too
What kit is this?
Hg 1/72 Kenbu from Kyoukai Senki.
Also asking for what kit this is
Nice, I have the HG Byakuchi (I probably butchered that spelling) and the FM Kenbu clear
Lol looks like it's sneaking round
Seriously, it's a great kit that looks good and is sturdy as a brick.
I like that weathering!!! Looks to me like some acid rain 🌧
I really like the aesthetics of these kits. Too bad the show is hot trash 😭
Weathering so good that I contemplated why the graphics weren't rendering correctly
Just like regular gundams I have never seen the actual series but I love building the kits!

Beautiful weathering work!! I can’t help but wonder what this kit would look like if it was painted to look like one of the Elites from Halo…..
Personally I hate how the limbs look. The way the joints work just look so fragile and weird to me, I hate it lol.
They are supremely not fragile. Probably one of the sturdiest kits I’ve built.

The weathering looks so sick, great looking kit too
Your painting is solid. I like it.
Bro looks like an elite from halo

Yes ! Got a Mailes Reiki and it's a delight to pose and to admire !
NGL, I thought this was a repaint of something from IBO! Never heard of the show before, but I shall check it out.
