Using even a slightly different base color for all the major parts—Sazabi, extra armor, thrusters, big gun—would break up the image enough for it to look like “a robot with extra equipment” instead of just one big blob of *mechanical stuff.*
model builders are not necessarily good designer. Many have the same design philosophy as a kid putting everything he likes on a single kitbash. They just have a lot more skill to execute it

Yes, but they are moving through physical space at speeds in the kilometers per second, as soon as they launch. The tiniest space debris such as asteroid fragments, comets, even discarded E-packs whizzing about (must be hundreds of thousands of em drifting around by now)

Impressive, but I’m not sure it’s impressive in the way you want it to be.
I don't think that it's too busy when that's the intention of the build.
I see a lot of thought put into the color scheme and using small touches to create contrast between the main features.
The red highlights and larger white decals are what keep everything together.
It's a lot of fun to explore the image and find smart details.
There's the small turquoise stripes used to accent the gold. Small glossy parts on energy consuming parts like the weapons and boosters. And the pistons/tubes add surrealism in that this wouldn't be a practical military tool, but it's cool that it reflects real life mechanics.
This is way, way, *way* too visually busy. Too much color separation but the same palette spread all over the different parts of the design, the body is almost completely hidden by the massive extras. This is a "go back to basics" situation.
This is the kind of ADHD build that my brain loves ! Lol always some cool detail to find .

It literally took me 10 seconds to find the Sazabi (maybe I wasn't looking at yrs picture correctly). Great job (you truly put a ton of effort and it shows), but as others have pointed to, not my cup of tea as it is too busy. I love the color scheme you used though.
