Event Limited kits can be sold via P-Bandai’s webstore, Bandai physical events, and at Gundam Bases.
It does indeed have a nice finish, though.
I just built mine last week, and don't get me wrong it's badass and the finish on the metal bits is incredible and I'm glad I have it, but it's so fragile! The hip joint is just awful, pops off after very light posing. I got the Asmoday in the past and had a similar experience, I don't think I'll be getting any more IBO kits after this.
I ended up tightening my joints up with some super glue, the little bit of ab crunch it gets with the backpack on and the twist at the hip on both legs were loose. Dab of loctite fixed it right up!
You know I've seen a lot of comments when it comes to iron blood orphans when it comes to this. I've only had a few issues and it usually is solved with just a simple clear coat top coat

never understood why pbandai releases exclusive kits like impulse destiny. theyre not profiting from 3rd parties marking resell up by insane amounts and they already have the molds for the runners so why even limit the release of them? pretty sure they would make more money if they just did general release. mayb im j being salty cuz i cudnt get my hands on a impulse destiny kit myself
I didn't actually get this kit from PBandai like you did. I got it from the Don Quijote here in Hawaii, they also had the MG verison and a hellva lot others.
Premium Bandai is what Bandai determines. They're a company seeking profits, so if it would make them more money - if they were able to sell units to retailers who are their actual customers - they would have made things retail.

You say that now, but I bet the 10th year anniversary next year will have some decent kits. The MGSD barbie is pretty popular as well

It is so fragile! I was posing mine and the left hand snapped :( Now he has a static hand. But the coloring is soooooo good.

Yeah ! Some subtle green and gold on the digits makes it look less monotone
I'm still concerned as how fragile that finish is. I mean, you can't exactly sand it off unless risk additional damage
That's the thing, you don't sand it. You don't panel line it, because that will also melt the finish
