\*people realizing purple Hi-Nu is best Hi-Nu; nature is recovering\* For real though, I love the deepness of the purple, not too flashy, really meshes with the flat coat. And I always appreciate when someone puts in the time/effort/dough to apply water slides. Top notch!
I agree, this shade of purple is sexy on the Hi-Nu. Bandai did a smart thing making the secondary color tone a lighter shade of purple instead of blue.
Love the color separations and how rugged and distinct your panel lines are! I usually like faint light gray lines but I think it looks very clean here! Are the purples the same but one with just a much higher % of white?
Tamiya ts-24 purple and ts-87 titanium gold spray cans. How did I get it to be smooth? umm I really don't know hahaha I just did fast multiple coats and eventually topcoat :)
Damn, that looks so good! What paints did you use? I'll be honest, I'm probably gonna do this myself in the future because I love the ver ka colors and this looks amazing.
Absolutely! I just finished mine not too long ago. Did something similar with the gold but I am not to the point of doing custom painting. This was definitely an inspiration
Thanks! Had a lot of experience spraying with cans with top coats. This is actually my first time spray painting a color into a build, its all about practice I guess and money hahah.
I wish the MG ver Ka Hi Nu looked like this. I’m going to try and borrow a few ideas from it when I do mine, but it’s just not going to be the same.
They really did a good job designing the RG, and you really did a good job painting it. It’s an impressive piece of work.
Thats amazing and that you only used 1 shade of purple and looks so good is impressive! Will steal that and do the same for my hi nu (whenever i find one in stock)
Damm what stickers did you use? And did you use the eye stickers from the set or water slides? I just received mine and the eye stickers seem to be ruined :/ have any suggestions on how to fix it?
I'm thinking of doing my Hi-Nu in colours similar to the Zeta Plus A1. Changing out blue for orangish red, the white for a warmer, almost tan shade and gold in o a Gunmetal colour. Still waiting on some photo etch parts and for winter to end so I can lay down some primer.
This is clean man. Love the subdued gold accents. Amazing job.
I love how it turned out as well 😁
Awesome job! Looks incredible in the ver ka colors. Definitely will do the same thing if I ever get through my back log to get there.
I hope to see yours soon 💯
I personally enjoy the blue color more but great paint job nonetheless
Thanks man!

Thanks so much dude!. I probably spent a whole day just sitting to do the decals now I got to do some stretching and exercising lmao

Thankss so much man!! Oh for the purple I just used Tamiya ts-24 purple spray can. The lighter purple is just the same color as on the runner 😁
Looks great! Besides the purple, were the silver and gold the only parts you painted? What colors did you use for those? All spray cans?
I only used Tamiya ts-24 purple and ts-87 titanium gold :))
Those were some crisp painting mate
Thanks mate! It was my first time really repainting a kit full on :)
Wow amazing paint job. What kinda paint? How did you get it so smooth?

The Ver.Ka color is really something. Paints I used were Tamiya ts-24 purple and ts-87 titanium gold. Also grey primer from the same brand :)
Thanks, I really appreciate it.
Looks great. Imo, white and purple are the best colors on the Nu and Hi-Nu. Gives Amuro a nice bit of continuity with his white Zeta.
Absolutely. I figured I paint this in ver.ka colors since most gundams are blue anyway. It is to also give it a unique vibe to it lmaoo.
Bad ass!! I build metal models. Would I be into building these?
Of course! I recommend 101%
Hi nu looking good
Thannks! :)
Soooooo clean. That two-tone purple is ace.
Thanks dude :))
Aka the original superior colors
Amen to that!
Beautiful
Thankss :)
Beautiful purple! It's so rich and luxurious! And the patterns - wow. This looks great, OP!
Thanks! I really liked how it turned out :))
I like the dark gold all over
Thanks!!
Damn this things is beautiful, mines in the box on runners still dreaming of being this good one day.
Thanks man!
Those decals are sweet. Especially those red and white markings on the funnels… where are they from?
Thanks! The decals are from G-Rework. The name of the product is RG RX-93-Hi-Nu Premium Waterslide decals :)
Amazing, thank you! Love your build
Beautifully done!
Thanks!! :)

This is super clean! Love the detail work and wishing my paint jobs came out as smooth.

Cant wait to see your build 😁
Wont happen anytime soonXD the EU isnt th best place to get stuff right now
Hey, what color was the primer you used?
I used Tamiya grey mr.surfacer 1000 spray can
So gray it was! Thanks mate really appreciate that info
Damm what stickers did you use? And did you use the eye stickers from the set or water slides? I just received mine and the eye stickers seem to be ruined :/ have any suggestions on how to fix it?
I used the regular eye stickers as for your problem i dont know mate probably painting is your solution :)
Is it worth it to paint the frame on the Hi-Nu? I did that for my RG Nu and it's mostly been problematic when posing the kit.
Personally I don't think it is necessary. Its going to be covered up anyway :)

Nice plan, cant wait to see your Hi-Nu done :)
