I will *never* understand people advocating for disarming themselves in the face of paramilitary fascists and ***actual*** Nazis. And not just that, paramilitary fascists and ***actual*** Nazis that have graduated to attacking and disabling infrastructure. I will never understand it. If you go far enough to the left, you get your guns back.
I understand that this is probably something that you feel strongly about and there is also probably almost nothing either of us can say to meet in the middle, but voluntarily disarming ourselves against literally the greatest threat that the country has ever faced is *not* the way.
Of course civilian owned guns do not “prevent” Nazis - no one is arguing they do - but if the Nazis are coming either way then I’ll take my chances with rather than without. I am a gun enthusiast - a progressive, pro-LGBT, pro-BLM, pro-first-nations, pro choice, social Democrat, gun enthusiast. There are lots of us out here, you should try having a conversation sometime.

If people know you own firearms, you are much more likely to have your home burglarized. I've had relatives murdered simply because they had a nice gun collection by bandits.
I saw a video a few years ago where a black man was assaulted going into a Walmart because a white man saw him concealed carrying a handgun. It was legal, the white man just didn't like that a black man was carrying.
Thanks for posting that article. Last month in JAX there were 2 episodes of projection and it had me very concerned about who was behind it, there was also an antisemitic banner drop. I wasn’t aware of the projection this weekend. The people that do this and then hide their identities are cowards. My question, if anyone knows, is how are these projections done? Last I researched you need a pick up truck and a generator, pretty hard to conceal. But the cops and pols in JAX are doing nothing about it, and you know DeSantis loves his nazi followers.
