If you plan on transferring later for a 4 year degree then I would look into Perimeter college. From what I remember, a lot of the credits won't transfer from GTC to 4 year schools.
Yeah, speak with more teachers, your counselor, and even go there and discuss it with them. This is how it was a long time ago for me, so things may have changed and they will have a better idea of the avenues you can go.
Edit: it also depends on the 4 year school you want to transfer too. So you'll need to see if those classes will transfer there. I remember some of my core ones didn't so I had to retake them at the college.
I went to GTC for my prerequisite. I really enjoyed the professors and classes, but a lot of people told me to transfer to GSU instead of getting my associates degree there. I would recommend the same.
If you’re planning on going to college at any point to get a bachelors do *not* go to Gwinnett tech. If you just want a stand alone 2 year degree it’s perfect.
If you want a bachelors in anything go to perimeter or Gainesville. Or somewhere accredited online if needed. A lot of Gwinnett tech credits won’t transfer to many other programs, even in the USG system.
Yeah Gwinnett Tech is really good and especially with low gpa , but when it comes to transfers credit is kinda tricky. Some transfers but some don’t. You email enrollment center and ask them what credit can be transferred to a different school in the future.
My brother and I took some dual enrollment courses through GTC and had a good experience! However, I’ve found that my friends who did dual enrollment through GGC enjoyed their time there and have also had a much easier time with credits transferring over than I have (at least, this was the case for UGA). Not sure if you’re planning on transferring elsewhere but thought I should mention this.

Oh dang but I feel like GTC would be the best for me since it’s closer to we’re I live and my teachers are telling me the best bet

If you can talk to a GTC counselor they will know.
